I Wish (-1) was an option for rating. If youre looking for a run down smelly gym with outdated equipment of which about 60% of this crap is broken and If youre looking for customer service staff consisting of kids with ego attitudes working in a ghetto environment, and If youre looking for straight up ghetto, this is the place to be. They were quick to sign me up 6 days ago but tried to scam me over on quitting saying i owed more money etc, etc. Im glad I was just on the week to week membership. My friend who went with me a few days to this place is so glad she only went here on a 3 day guest pass and didnt waste her money. Our other friend who has an LA fitness membership in a different city joined us one night and laughed when she came in this location because its so small and run down. She was embarrassed to even be here and this isnt a high maintenance girl were talking about laughing at this place. Seriously, dont waste your time on this place. IF you want 5 star quality drive the extra mile to 24 hour fitness on Anton. They have clean pools, hand sanitizers all over the place, free towel service, brand new fully functional equipment with tv monitors on the machines, and so much more.....all for the same price as that LAfitness Ballys place. If you went BALLYs, Its not better as LaFitness. In fact, its only gotten worse and more broken equipment. Dont waste your time or money here.

This gym is my second home and I will be a fool to not be honest on my review on this facility. The gym was renovated in January of 2013 with new machines added. The yoga room is always empty and any one can use it so is the spine room and the boxing room. I am there 6 times a week and I have train at a different time of the day to see what the crowd looks like. The gym is like heaven 5 am in the morning. There isnt that many people (duh) and the handful there are super friendly. The evening crowd is a bit different; a lot of beautifit females and down to earth characters. This is not a make up gym and to my experience I have only met few people at that are like that. The crowd here are mostly Mexicans and if you have beef with my Spanish people this place may not be a good fit lol. I left 24 Hour fitness for this place and I love it! I even signed up 3 of my friends from 24 Hour Fitness to this gym. Come check it out for yourself ...

My apartment complex is across the street and my neighbor invited me as a guest there to try it out in hopes that we would become work out buddies. I went in for a free trial and when I told them I had just relocated from out of state they could not offer me the 7 day trial promo, only 3 days. I agreed and worked out that day. My friends husband is an experienced trainer and she has learned from him "form" to work out and not get hurt. We used the weights for about an hour and then left. The next day I show up and am told I can no longer work out there because I was not a member and I was not utilizing their trainers to train on weights. Really? This is how you would like to gain a new member? I am sorry they felt my friend was doing such a great job. Please … 24 hr fitness down the street is much better equiped with weights, machines and staff … not to mention classes.

i have to agree that this gym needs good house keeping. Ive seen roaches and now there is no toilet seat cover film for when you need to use the toilet! the mats for yoga are ripped and well thats about as bad as i can think of. Now, a bout Omar, he is amazingly polite! He always has a smile when i see him and is always courteous. He opens the door for my mother and welcomes her. As i walk by he smiles and makes me feel comfortable. He is a nice guy and i really think its inappropriate and immature to curse so much about a person and single others out because of their appearance and it is a shame that others find it necessary to bring up the race as if it has anything to do with it. All in all i do agree that this specific Bally could use a clean up and i also have to say that Omar is great.

Worst la fitness I have ever been to! Needs to be updated, pulleys never have attachments because people steal them. I bring my own and people eye them and try and take them saying they brought it themselves. Weights literally all over the weight room. I just moved here and at my home gym the trainers and even management would go around every hour and rerack any weights not being used. I have seen the manager at my old location racking weights in heals. But here, I saw the same dumbbell in the same corner, untouched for 3 days in a row. I wanted to cancel but every time I asked the only guy that could do that "wasnt in". I used to go to the gym twice a day 6 days a week, I literally dread this location and only come 2 times a week. Took my love for the gym away.

as BLY goes bankrupt for the 3rd time ?, in last few years, Y this club fired its cleaning staff, plays amazingly Unhealthy loud rap-type music too often, is always out of paper-towels in bathroom, does not have some machines other BLY clubs have, mgmt. is too often surly angry unaware uncaring, they dont even have big sports games on their TVs stations, is beyond the many members who have been silently steaming, because they fear retribution if they complain....they also have closed water areas too often, and too often the bath areas are dirty....they have no excuse....a VG location, though....and many nice not-young hispanic and asian people....

holy "F"!!!!!!!!!!! worst gym i ever been in my life...not only I feel like I paid money for disgusting circumstances, realized fact that there are many people who have had similar problems in the past LA fitness have many problems but this gym has even more ! staffs and managers here are just................................ I dont know if they are told to act like this in front of certain people, Front Desk Staffs are extremely creepy and unpleasant to face and Managers are unbelievably unprofessional! people are doing this for reason i hope the CEO knows about this!! please watch reviews before you go to this gym

Overall not bad, but it seems like no one puts their weights away. If you ever want a dumbbell under 50 lbs you have to go on a scavenger hunt to find it. Management put up several signs saying you need to rerack weights, but it almost seems like weights are even harder to find since they did that. Im not sure if they ever go through and collect the weights at night, but by 3:00 PM it sure doesnt look like it. Repairs dont seem to be a priority either. One of the cable machines has been tagged as out of service for over a month
