Considero que en este lugar dan una excelente atención y cortesía porque las personas que te atienden te atienden con amabilidad y respeto y hablan también español, eso es muy importante que tengan personas bilingües dando atención ya que 60% de habitantes en Estados Unidos y mas en California somos latinos y nos sentimos tomados en cuenta al darnos atención en nuestro idioma, aparte de eso también me gustó mucho la información detallada que se da del servicio, muchas gracias!. La persona que me atendió como recepcionista se llama I Alarcón dándome un excelente servicio y amabilidad. Definitivamente regresaría a Extra Espace Storage en East Palo Alto.

A large water leak occurred above my unit which when reported to Extra Space Storage did nothing. Instead it was stated that they had no responsibility for the water leak which destroyed several items. I asked them to move the items to another unit which was finally completed 5 days after the water leak was found. When I asked for a discount due to the hours spent dealing with the problem and not having access to my unit they said they could not do that. The access hours are limited, for example, when I was unloading some things on a Saturday evening at 6:45pm, my car became locked into their parking area. It would make sense to allow someone already in the premises out. I called their customer service which took about 15 minutes to give me a code to exit. There are consistently no carts to use. The building is inconvenient for large moving vehicles to get access to. After doing more research it seems that there are less expensive options in the area who could have a better maintenance record for their buildings. I do not recommend using this storage company or this facility.

I had my sister go across the state to empty my unit, which she did. I asked her to leave the lock on the unit since I couldnt remember if it was mine or theirs. When I called to close out the lease they informed me that the rent would continue until I personally removed the lock. I am a plane ride away. I requested that they remove the lock as there was no contents in the unit. Nope. Keep paying rent you sucker until you fly back and remove the lock. See it is their "policy". A legal thing supposedly. How nice. Walking from around her desk to remove the combination lock at my request was against policy. When you treat customers like lowlifes trying to cheat you out of a days rent you end up topping off what was a reasonable experience with a infinitely avoidable enraging experience. Find another storage company and save yourself a future frustrating experience.

Weve just transferred to Extra Space Storage from our old storage facility in southern California. The facility is clean and well organized - though the upstairs units, while cheaper, are smaller (though they are advertised at the same size) and get hotter. But the whole place is reasonably well lit. Parking is a bit tight for the indoor units - there are only about 2 or 3 spots, and things get complicated if you come at a popular time. But the outdoor units can just go through a gate and park right next to their spaces. Axess to the facilities is convenient and secure, even when there is no-one at the office.

Service here is a bit of a nightmare. Tried to rent a space twice, first was told that I couldnt use their truck unless I had reserved it in advance, which they share with three other units. Then two weeks later I reserved the truck, filled out all their paperwork, was ready to pick up the truck and was told that I couldnt get the truck (in Redwood City) without first going to Palo Alto to fill out more paperwork. None of this was explained prior - perfect formula for customer frustration. Ultimately I gave up on them - dont waste your time.

I stored my belongings at Storage USA for two summers and was awed at how kind and helpful they all were. Their units are clean and they provide carts for easy storing. The people who work at the front desk will walk you to your unit your first time there and will even remember your name when you come back to move things in or pick things up. I would store here anytime I needed to! Great for Students especially--their rates are the cheapest in the area, and if you move out early they pro-rate your fee and you get some money back!

Ive used a bunch of storage facilities in the Bay Area, and I have to say Extra Space Storage in Palo Alto has been the best value proposition. It was super easy to set up my unit, the front desk folks were super friendly and very helpful. The location is convenient to reach from the 101. The facility seems very secure, always had carts around, and is very clean and well lit inside. They even offer easy online billing too.

I have been dealing with extra Space Storage on Bayshore in East Palo Alto for the last three years. The customer service from the representatives there have been above average. the facility has always been clean and well-managed even when I noticed a crowd waiting to be served.on a scale of 1 to 10 I would give this facility and the customer service representatives a nine point nine and a half.

I have never had customer service like the one I get at extra space! Both of the girls that work there need a raise.Not only do they work hard they explain everything to the T. Every time Its my pay day I look forward to going and saying hi cause they make my day i try to make thiers..I recommend extra space storage

Acceptable. They lure you in w a low price then add a few bucks every month while advertising the same low price for other people. Its crappy and abusive, but not enough to merit switching. Generally clean. Seems pretty safe. They do play crap music through blown out speakers... Super annoying.

This storage is the best in the bay area. Its very clean and at all time. And there staff is the best and they have the best customer service ever and very friendly. And Jovita Alarcon shes great and very friendly and professional at her job. She very helpful. When I need information on my storage unit .

Awesome. Felix and Renee are so nice and helpful. They live on sit so I feel my stuff is safe and the units have alarms if they are opened and I havent put my access code in to open the front gate. I am really happy with this storage unit and it was also the cheapest I could find in the area.
