Went in to see Franklin Harvey. Paid $260 for the AAA membership and my first month on a policy for one of my two cars. (We were going to add my second car the next day) Nearly a week later, He calls me back and tells me that they are unable to cover my vehicle because its registered under my fathers name. (Thanks for letting me know AFTER youve taken my money for a week) So we cancel the policy... Its now been TEN + days since I cancelled my policies and I have still not received my refund. I call AGAIN, he no longer works at that office. The gal who tried helping me instead said they just issued my refund 2 days ago (when I was supposed to have RECEIVED my refund) and guess what. Its $141 SHORT of what I paid. AAA, you are horrible. You are so lucky I paid you in CASH. Had this been a card transaction, you wouldnt have been able to rob me. THIEVES. I had to take money out of my rent to put even more money down for another policy with Farmers Insurance while I wait for my refund from AAA. BAD BUSINESS. BEWARE!

NO STARS!!!!! But I put one for this to be posted. I have waited 12 weeks for my plates and was supposed to be contacted. I tried calling the branch and was sent to the call center who told me that the branch was not taking calls, and to drive up there to get help. WHAT????? Then when I asked for a Supervisor ,, i was transferred all around the system. I finally got a nice young man who went out of his was to help me and I was able to speak to a Supervisor in the call center. Though my issue was not solved. Its hit and miss with AAA.

A top notch agency such as AAA should anwer their phones. Customers pay the premium price to have outstanding service and unfortunately for this office they lack that professional aproach. I refuse to waste my time to leave a messege and wait for a call. Looks like from previous comments that this issue has been ongoing so maybe they dont care... Needless to say Ill be taking my money somewhere else.

First AAA office Ive been to where they didnt have a person at the maps/tour book desk, just a sign in sheet. I just stopped in about 4:45 to get a map of the area (no map machine) and there were 4 other people waiting. Waited for about 5 minutes but when one came around, didnt look like anyone was gong to be coming around and no employees would make eye contact I gave up and left.

If youre not a AAA member I have a question for you why not you get road service when you need it which is like insurance its not necessary but if you ever need it look at the bill on your tow truck itll pay for the full year of Service Plus anytime you need to renew or register a vehicle you can go into AAA and beat the 2 hour wait at the DMV well worth it

Worst AAA service ever. I went to renew my vehicle registration here. The lady at dmv service was very rude. I used to go to berkeley all the time but since i moved to san pablo i tried this location. Worst experience ever. The dmv service ladies are not helpful.
