We got ticket for flying from Seattle to Beijing from Jade, and had the worst customer service experience ever. They have lots of issues -- They dont listen to what you are saying, and dont talk properly at all. Most of all, they are irresponsible. We got our daughters visa through them. They said they will let us know as soon as the visa arrives. For several weeks, we didnt hear back from them. So, we called them again. They said "Oh, its lying here, you can pick it up". When we went there, they made us stand for 15 min and then handed over the visa. No sorry, nothing. Forgot the service, they are even willing to humiliate their customers! I bought three tickets, but one of our fellow passengers had to stay back. I asked, "Can I cancel it ?" She said, "No." I asked, "Can use the third seat for our child ?" She said "No. If the plane is empty, use as many seats. Otherwise we only get two seats". Then she suddenly started laughing and telling the story to others in Chinese (I could hear it on phone!). After a while she said,"You must be an Indian. They are laughing at you!" I got quite upset, but just tried to reason with her logically,"I paid for three seats and if you cannot refund me, I would at least like to use those three seats. Does this look like a laughing matter to you ?" She said "I dont want to argue with you." And put down the phone! I later figured that this is the airline policy (and more a general airlines policy). But if that is the case, she can just explain to me in less than 50 words and 2-3 min. I dont know why she has to laugh at me, put down the phone on me, hint at my ethnicity, and keep me on hold for 10+ min. Frankly, they are a bunch of bozons!

DO NOT ATTEND THIS PLACE THEY HAVE NO CARE IN CUSTOMER SATISFACTION ........... i bought a plane ticket to hongkong from seattle , with a requirment to stop at beijing first . we had a chinese passport , and bought the plane tickets 8 months in advance with the phone number and information inside their computer . THEY DID NOT INFORM US THAT THERE IS A NEW RULE THAT CHINESE PASSPORTS IN ADDITION NEED ANOTHER PASS TO GO TO HONGKONG FROM ANYWHERE IN CHINA . we took the plane to beijing expectiong to be able to go straight to hongkong afterwards , only to be stopped at the check in , denied access to HK and had our tickets canceled through whatever system they have . after taking my whole family there , we have to buy another set of tickets to take us back to the united states costing us a useless trip of a total of 8 thousand dollars . i hope you good people out there read this and never attend this place . i advise you to forget the extra couple dollars of other places , and attend them instead . after all that i went through , they refuse over and over again to refund my first denied ticket .

They are just the worst in Seattle... I bought a ticket from them...everything was fine until after 1.5 month later that I realized there wasnt any transaction on my credit card..I called and they would put you on hold forever if its not new business and just asking questions...I called the airline and I was told the reservation was canceled.... Basically they will hold your money first, see if there is any cheap seats, then book the reservation...if there is none, they wont tell you....if you dont check yourself, you wouldnt know until you get to the airport...and you are screwed...now I paid a higher price for my ticket because its late....but I am glad that I found out, at least I can still fly with the original plan....oh and did I mention that the staff were absolutely rude in the whole buying and inquiry process.... Definitely wouldnt recommend anyone to go to Jade Holiday in Chinatown unless you want to put huge risks on your travel plan

Ive used Jade twice for getting Visas for China. Both times they were fast, nice, and had great prices. When I came to give them my passport, the woman checked my application and made calls to ensure everything would fly. Also, both times I payed the bare minimum price without any service charge. When I came to collect, they remembered me instantly. Regarding the bad reviews, I cant comment on their plane ticket customer service, but it is worth noting that if youre used to perky-smiling-overly-polite customer service, then this agency might be a shock. Theyre friendly but business-minded. Ive always had a positive experience being short, succinct, polite, and prepared to write down words they may not know.

Very competitive prices. Of course, one cant be too sensitive or be so timid and shy when doing business with this efficient travel agency. Jade Holidays staff might not be wishy-washy as everyoned liked, but they are swift, polite, and fast. Its of course because theyre accustomed to chopping and negotiating hard bargains with the airline companies for your sake! If you want best prices, you dont want your agents to be mollycoddling and idly chatting, would you?

I just called them for an estimation for flying to Beijing around the end of the summer. A female agent gave me a quote. I asked if it was possible to get any cheaper ticket between now and the end of the summer, the agent immediately got very impatient and said : dont save "small money" like this, why dont you go and make big money! And then hang up on me! This type of service is really unacceptable. I will never use this agent.

If you want to get Visa for China, this is the place for you. Best China Visa services in town. Just got Visa for my Son, cannot be happier and their agents are so warm and nice. (I walk in instead of call in, consider their call volume, your opinion might diff, but trust me, if you want China Visa for whatever reason, this is only place you can trust in Seattle.)

I called and asked them about tours in Canada. They promised to fax the iternary over but never did. I called twice and they didnt bother doing. This is a lousy agency that doesnt care about their customers and their prices are not really the greatest either.

This is the 2nd time I let them handle the China visas for my family. Like what happened in the 1st time, the ladies were experienced with business and knew very well what were needed for the visas. With their help, I got the visas within 2 weeks.

Despite the reviews, I called them up and got a great price on tickets to China. The person I worked with, Candy, was very helpful, not rude at all. Maybe they saw these reviews and are cleaning up their act. Tom
