I brought my car into A & J Automotive because my car was leaking some oil on the driveway and I was reffered to them by a friend of mine. I am so glad that I was reffered to them because this was the best experience that I ever had with an automotive shop. My vehicle was leaking from the oil pan and needed to be resealed. Not only was the work good but the cost was cheap. The dealership quoted me over the phone with a price of $340 with parts, labor and diagnosis. A & J Automotive charged me only $135 for parts and labor. They did the diagnosis for free. This was not the only suprise. When I went back to the shop to get my car, they kept my car on the car lift so that I could see that they did the repair and cleaned the whole bottom side of my car. They then explained to me that this was so that they could see if any other leaks were present. This reminded me of a time that I had my valve cover gaskets done on my other car. The dealership did not even clean the bottom of the car. Better yet, my vehicle was fully detailed and washed when I came back for it. I recommend A & J Automotive to all of my friend and family. When the timing belt broke and stranded me on the freeway, my insurance company would only tow me to a repair shop with in 10 miles. After the tow truck picked me up, the driver said that he had never heard of the repair shop that the insurance company helped me find, and to be extremely careful of where I take my car for repairs. He had some good stories of how stranded motorist in need of repairs, have been taken advantage of, (even in this economy). I paid the extra $50 to get to A & J Automotive. Some times, I golf with their dad and remembered a business card in the golf bag They had the car finished the next day. Not only was I surprised in the quick turn around time, the repair cost was much less than the "big name" shops. I saved about $250.00 by going to A & J Automotive, and will recommend them to all my friends. Jim N Sacramento

I had my oil changed this morning and the service was excellent. I would have given 5 stars if it werent for the fact I nearly froze to death. Its hard to imagine that they work so hard to give such good service only to have their customer uncomfortable while waiting (the office was quite warm and comfortable, should have insisted to wait in there!). When I made the suggestion of putting a heater in the waiting room, my comment was brushed aside by the other person sitting in the warm office "he stole the hearter, ha ha." I didnt think is was funny at all.I also noticed there was a fan in the corner, meaning no AC either.

Adam and Jon take care of all 3 of our vehicles so I am in their shop at least once a month. They catch things before they become a major problem and have done everything on my cars from oil changes to timing belts to brakes. Their prices are beyond reasonable and they have saved me hundreds. They care about what they do and are trustworthy - something that is hard to find these days. I have referred numerous people and they love them as well!

A&J offers a vastly superior service over the franchise oil change operations. When was the last time you had your oil changed and you were informed by the technician that air pressure in your spare tire was down to 5 psi? (A)dam and (J)ohn are professionals who take pride in their work and treat your car as if it was their own. That is why they only use synthetic oil, without hitting you with an upgrade to the better oil. Robert

Jon performed a transmission gasket , transmission oil and filter change on my jeep. Also a engine oil pan gasket , oil and filter change. Very knowledgable mechanics and friendly! Jon told me everything about my jeep and everything made sense. Friendly service , fast service and good prices!! My only complaint on my review is that they did not have beer and pizza , or lobster dinners in the waiting room. Thanks again A&J !!!

I am going to come here every time I need an oil change. The staff is very friendly! Usually, when I get my oil change, I feel out of place because I am female. At A&J Automotive Repair and Fleet Service, I felt very comfortable. I love the fact that they use synthetic oil regardless of what car it is and they also clean my car inside and out! I would recommend this place to anyone!

Ive had issues with my audi a4 burning oil. Instead of charging me for tests, they looked at my car and told me there was an issue but it wasnt going to hurt my car and gave me a very reasonable quote in under an hour. When they changed my oil it cost me half the price of goodyear or napa. I highly recommend for every make and model. Good people and good prices.

These guys are really great! They are highly skilled and quick! They replace the bad autaomatic tranmission on my 1997 Ford Taurus for a fair price that was much lower than what other shops had quoted me. I trust these guys and will definately bring my Taurus and Saturn in to them the next time I need them for a service or repairs!

Great service just be aware that you can be waiting for vehicle for up to 90 minutes. I stopped there for an oil change, brake inspection and safety inspection. Jon and his staff were very honest and explained to detail what my vehicle needed for additional maintanence. I am very happy with the service.

Just got my oil changed this morning. Despite the cold waiting room and it taking 1 hr, the staff was very friendly and had a snack for the kids and TV. They even cleaned my headlights!! (they were awful!) They washed, dried and vacuumed my car too which was fabulous! Definitely going back.

I had an oil change a couple of weeks ago. Excellent customer service and great staff. They checked my belts and informed me that one needed to be replaced. They ordered the part and had me out of there in less then a hour. I would definitely recommend them to everybody I know, thank guys!!!

Worst customer serviced I have ever received! i dont recomend it to anyone. They may do a good work but they really need to take customer service classes!!!
