Unfortunately, Im going to have to amend my previous 5 star rating due to a displeasure with the quality and longevity of work done on my car. The short version- got a complete clutch replacement. Never really acted normally. Went out 2.5 years later. Shop wouldnt fix it, or reimburse for another shop to fix it. The long version- About 2.5 years ago the clutch went out on the car we had just purchased. Evert Automotive was nice enough to replace our clutch and go to bat with the warranty company to have them pay for it. But the new clutch that was put in was never quite right. It would intermittently struggle to get into gear (like the clutch was going out, but it was brand new). But the problem was never consistent enough that I though I could take it to the shop and theyd be able to diagnose it. Then, a couple oil changes later one of the Goodyear mechanics noticed we had a grounding wire that was not connected to anything. The only reason the car was running is because the wire just happened to be touching the engine block. So, we took it back to Evert to have them fix it, and they did. But it made me wonder what else they may have forgotten. I also mentioned the intermittent problem with the clutch and was told that they couldnt replicate the problem. (Evert Automotive maintains that I never brought it up, but that is not how I remember it) Fast forward to last week, the clutch problem is getting worse and Im planning on having it looked at once we are able to save up a little money. Then it unexpectedly goes out. I call Evert to have them look at it and am told they dont do clutch jobs. So, I take it elsewhere. Even though I know Everts warranty on the clutch job has long passed, I know that a clutch should last more than 2.5 years (especially with how carefully my wife drives it) plus, since the clutch was never quite right, I called the Everts to see if they would be willing to stand by the quality of their work and help pay for some of the new clutch bill. They were unwilling. My new mechanic explained that there was a piece that in his words probably ended up falling off that was causing our clutch problems. In my opinion, its completely possible that said part was never actually installed. If the grounding wire was forgotten, whos to say this small part wasnt forgotten? This particular part would also explain why our clutch problems were so intermittent. Im giving two stars, not one, because of the hard work of the front office to get the warranty company to cover the original clutch from 2.5 years ago. Unfortunately, the quality of work done in the shop doesnt appear to be on par with the office. I cant in good conscience recommend this shop because of the lack of quality in their work.

My son and I have been bringing our cars to Rhonda for 10 years. She has always bent over backwards to make sure things were right and she will admit it if she doesnt feel they can fix the problem. One of her mechanics actually told me he would charge as much as a place closer to my home to install struts so I should take it there if I didnt feel like bringing my car to the shop! How can you not love service like this? Rhonda always give you options. She once looked at my car and it needed work but not right away so I didnt need anything done that day. I couldnt ask for a better place to take care of my car. It is always done on time and Rhonda continually calls to give me updates. I wouldnt go to another repair shop ever.

The most thorough and honest shop around. Rhonda and "the boys" are really nice too. I could immediately tell how knowledgeable they were when I walked in and spoke with them. You cant beat the prices either. If they dont take a full hour, you only get charged for that part of the hour. They also found other issues that other shops couldnt find. Dont worry though because they never start working or charge without permission. As a courtesy, they replaced the lamp on my license plate. Others would charge for that.

We took our Honda to Evert last summer for some major service. Last week we experienced trouble with the car that I did not know was connected to that previous service. But Evert knew. They repaired the car without charge, "covered under warranty", and even threw in another little service as a consolation for our trouble.

They did a diagnosis and found out they couldnt work on my vehicle because it had a computer programming problem, but they told who can work on it which was very helpful and they didnt charge for the diagnosis which was awesome . Overall great techs very friendly staff. And also they had an area for my kids to play in.
