THEY ARE THIEVES!!!!! They failed my smog test only because there of the visual comprehenstion... he said my wiring was modified what a JOKE! Everything else passed but because he didnt feel like it he didnt pass it. My car has been smogged before and Ive never had a problem. The funny thing is there are NO modifications to my car! No upgraded stearo system, no upgraded alarm everything in my car is stock! He is a joke but what he doesnt know is the joke will be on him! I work for the Department of Motor Vehicles and I will be reporting him to our smog cert AND the Department of Consumer Affairs! Im going to do everything in my power to make sure that they run out of business! I should have known to leave because the person before me was failed because of a "recent" bent hose.... CROOKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

THe service here was great and the owner was very honest. My car needed a smog check, but the owner was kind and honest and told me that because I just installed a new catalytic converter into my car, that my smog check might not pass. I was given a couple of options and decided to wait for a few more days to make sure that my engine light would not come up before I get it smog. I had a coupon and he even told me that I could save more money by using their ad thats in Pennysavers. If you want a honest and reliable smog check place, then this is definitely the place to go to!

I believe the negative reviewers have mistakenly signed on to the wrong website. There is another automotive business nearby with a very similar name. I have been coming here since it opened.and have had outstanding. service . There has never been a woman working here, nor has the owner ever tried to sell me unneeded extra services. Not only have I had my car smogged several times, I have had a major mechanical repair and a minor one. Both produced excellent results at a very fair price. I have frequently recommended the business to other people.

So I went in referred by Purrfect Audio Service on (Auburn and College Oak) I thought these people were descent workers until they advised me to SMOG my car at EZ SMOG. I went in and it seemed pretty legit until the smog Failed. The reason they gave me was not valid according to another SMOG place. All EZ SMOG wanted to do was "business", they fail car so you can take back down the street and repair it, when it is not an actual problem. It is sad to know that people work for money only. Please be aware and very careful at things like this one!

Jack has always provided great service and has always been an honest guy. I have been taking my cars here for a few years now. He came highly recommended from a friend who was a mechanic and used to work with him. The negative reviews on here dont even make sense, I think they are confusing this place with another place. Jack is no nonsense.

Took my 2000 Chevy Tahoe in there on a Tuesday afternoon, and was in and out in about 20 minutes with a "pass". The girl that was my tech was very nice and got the job done quickly. She also mentioned the Pennysavers ad so that I could save another $20. Sweet! My wifes truck is due for smog, too, so well be taking it here.

This place is a joke . They have all kinds of fees . Im surprised he didnt charge me for the rest room not a good place for smog
