The transmission is not operating properly, the excuse this time, it has a bad shift cable, in the column, your shop has been the only one working on this truck, due to its bad transmission build 2 yrs ago. Its been back many many times with the same compliant. Sqeaky into heara, hard shift, not down shifting nor up shifting, June fathers day, it blew up. After a verbal discussion about no warranty, your guy fixed it, but it is not in proper working order when it left your shop Glen. If a quality check of operation of trans was performed, and your tech Chris actually did his job, and drove it to the place we discussed, all these problems would been and was recreated, with him in the truck. And now the excuse this time for no 1st gear, which the transmission was just rebuilt, ypur guy saysits a shift cable, gee really. This problem would have been corrected, also as a direct result of the catastrophic failure when it so violent, it the transmission explosive power while under power, caused the rear end to also fail. Upon contacting many of the competition. In your field, its to them a standard practice to check all the drivetrain components. If an inspection of any sorts was performed, this issue would have not put my family in harms way as the rear blew one day after leaving your shop. Ive tried speaking to you and nick, with no luck, Ive only ask that you take care of the truck and make it right. So upon failure to do so this is escalated high up. Please get in contact with me either email or call to help futher resolve this issue. Chris Smith Its been now a full week since picking up the truck with a still non properly functioning transmission, Ive been in contact with Melanie in corporate back in PA , Im filing a complaint with the B.A.R. & BBB. Glen you have my contact info. Im waiting And as of Thursday, i stopped in to the shop. End result Glen isnt worried about Cali B.A.R his own words as the owner of the shop, go have your investigation done, when they find its Bad build, go get a judgment to makw us pay for it. All i want is a cc number Roseville Ford, Ford built OEM trans installes by Ford techs and my rear end to be repaired. And i go away. Well hopefully i hear from you soin Glen. I spoke with Mike in corporate on FRIDAY .

We took our GMC in as we noticed what appeared to be transmission fluid on the driveway under the vehicle... and Aamco were suppose to be the transmission experts. To make a very, very long story shorter, after almost 2 weeks of them having our vehicle including test drives they informed us they found finally found issue. We were told the rear seal on transmission was leaking, but transmission was fine, so we agreed to pay $300 to get it fixed. They called to tell us the vehicle was fixed and that they were taking it on a final test drive to ensure all was working well. Other than the length of time it took, at this point I was happy they found issue and got it fixed. Next call, which we got was on our way over to the shop to pick up the vehicle, they told us that the transmission blew on the test drive. I was thinking, well we brought them a running vehicle, they told us transmission was fine, and the transmission blew after their work on their test drive, so OF COURSE they would make it right and give us back a running vehicle. But NO, they wanted thousands to rebuild our transmission. The best they would offer was to give us a credit of the $300 toward the cost to rebuild transmission. Um, not sure about you, but at this point I had lost all confidence in this establishment both as a repair facility and as a business that does the right thing or that takes care of their customers. Since it was evident they werent going to do the right thing, we just wanted vehicle back to take it to someone else for repairs, but they refused to release vehicle without us paying them the $300 (for blowing the transmission..really?) Then it got even worse when they wanted us to come and get it or they would start charging us storage fees. Really??? This is NOT how to run a business. I understand things break, but the ones that break them should be responsible for fixing them, a moral that this business doesnt get. We took vehicle to dealership in the end to get a new transmission and it runs great now. But still not happy that this little experience with Aamco cost us nearly $4,000. I would NEVER take another vehicle to them. If i want a vehicle destroyed, I would just send it over a cliff, much faster and cheaper, and a ton less aggravation.

On my vist to AAMCO wasnt really satify with the outcome as I was charge for getting my car back without no difference from the time. I took the car in as I dont think that I should have gotten charge at all the $215 dollars as my car wasnt fixed. The Mechanic came back to the front and acted like he knew what was wrong, but he should have known before having me come back and spending the extra $215 dollars this was robbery. If he was a good mechanic but reach in to take the $215 dollars from my pocket, I would have to make another trip to get the car fix for another $500 dollars more, while sweating on the hot days with the windows open and the windows are down driving with no way of being cool in my car. Yes, I think I was made a sucker by that mechanic that should have told the people up front that the compressor was crack before having me come back and still leaving the place with my broken car which nothing was fixed as they said they would. I paid for myself to drive away with a broken car still. Not really satify and still sweating with the hot air flowing through my car. Rate this with one star the people up front were ok and cheerful. I dont think the five stars were at all what they deserve and I dont love it, if I am still sweating in my car and the car is still broken.

I had written a very good review for these guys a couple years ago. NOTE: I have completely changed my stance on my opinion if this shop after a horrible recent experience with them. I had my transmission rebuilt by this shop in OCT 2014. Two years later it failed OCT 2016. So I towed my vehicle to AAMCO Roseville since the transmission rebuild is under warranty. I am having to rent a car while waiting for the repairs to be finished. I had my vehicle towed to the AAMCO in Roseville on OCT 1, 2016. Today is NOV 1, 2016 and they still have not finished my vehicle. My rental car cost is now over $1,200 and climbing. Since day one, I have been pleading with the shop to help with rental reimbursement cost to which they adamantly refuse. So as a consumer, I would 1st, think twice as to whether or not I would even use this shop for initial transmission repairs/rebuilds. And if you decide to use this shop for a transmission rebuild, then I would be cautious as to the service you will receive from them WHEN you need to use the warranty for repairs that are probably most likely going to be needed. I am currently filing a complaint with the Bureau of Automotive repair to see what kind of solution we can come up with. But so far, AAMCO has very adamantly refused to help.
