This is a review to respond to the horrible review left by one Holly Diamond! There are a lot of things she left out of her post and false statements. 1. Yes someone had been in her unit. However, she neglected to mention that the last time she was in her unit was August of 2014. 2. Yes there are two cameras point right at her drive up unit door. Also her unit is located right next to the office and the highly traveled elevator. 3. Each unit door has door alarms of which hers never went off and the door alarms are checked daily to make sure they are functioning properly. The cameras around the property are never turned off! 4. Her unit was somehow access from the adjacent hallway for which there was absolutely no sign that it was ever compromised so there is no way for any manager to know that someone had been in her unit. 5. Originally she told staff that her washer and dryer were stolen, which they were not. She also told staff that some one picked her lock and then repo led the lock to put it back on her unit. 6. Holly Diamond also neglected to mention that at one point after she discovered her unit had been compromised she yelled and screamed at other customers through out the property acting crazy for which other customers left the property because they were afraid of her. Holly also made signs and placed them on the property saying units had been broken into. 7. Holly Diamond also neglected to mention she came to the office and the assistant manager was walking out of the front door to leave for lunch. As the assistant manager was closing the door Holly physically assaulted the employee by putting her hands on the employee and shoving her back into the office. Holly then began to scream at the employee and demanded to be let on to the property through a door located in the office. The reason holly could of not get on the property is because she was late on her rent. 8. As the former manager of this property I have dealt with holly on several occasions. All of which have been combative to say the least. She has been late and demanded waiving of fees for which we do not do unless it is totally warranted, case by case basis. Holly always made it a point to try and make it sound like she is a big shot real estate agent and she is somehow better then everyone else. The previous manager also had bad dealing with her. Holly had made claims to that manager in order to get money off her unit in the past. After all this Holly more free money towards her unit. 9. ESS and this property has always spent extra money on security for our customers. From having gate codes to get onto the property, codes to get into the hallway ground floor units, codes to entrance doors located on the outside perimeter building, alarms on all the doors, cameras, a computer program that tracks the use of all codes used through out the property. 10. We NEVER let people camp out at our property. If we found that people were doing that we threw them off the property immediately no questions asked. If people were staying after hours then they too were asked to vacate the property and their units. We treat the belonging of all our customers and its security very seriously. Also it needs to be said that all storage facilities across the country have issues one way or another. We do the best we can to combat those issues as they come up or try to think ahead before the issues come up. No company is 100% perfect but to have a person like this leave this kind of review and then leave out most of the story is to say least troubling. I was the manager for this property from September 2015 till July 2016 as I left for another job. I had several reviews that were really good during my time there. She factually incorrect as usual. If you are looking to rent, before you make your decision do yourself a favor and go by the site, look at the property and see for yourself how nice the property is. I can almost guarantee you will not find another facility that looks this nice.

BEWARE!!!!! BURGLARIZED UNIT AND VANDALIZED! The managers will tell you its safe, "no theft issues" and they have cameras etc...But wait, I have (had) a unit at this location. I KNOW differently. I returned to my unit to find it VANDALIZED and BURGLARIZED! Now please know, my unit is behind gates and in full view of TWO CAMERAS! The managers know I dont frequent my unit...I opened my LOCKED unit to find it TOTALLY vandalized. Completely puzzled and dumbfounded, I realized a "professional" who really knew what they were doing, had picked my sturdy, heavy duty lock... Not only did the culprit steal expensive, larger items from me but they took the time to go thru my unit box by box and steal what they wanted in EACH box. What? They actually had the time to do this in front of TWO CAMERAS? But heres where it gets even stranger...TOTALLY WEIRD! EVERYTHING, boxes and furniture etc. THROWN BACK INTO THE UNIT--literally thrown--I have photos for the police report...and then the culprit closed and locked up to not alert that anyone had been in the unit or cause any alarm. Dont the managers check the cameras for strange activity?...or maybe the cameras were turned off? Who knows? So now Extra Space Regional Management/Corporate is involved. Not dealing with the current manager as the former manager, Cynthia, who had been there for years was awesome and Ive NEVER had any issues. (Please also note most of the favorable reviews here were a year ago or more and prior to the current manager.) Please beware of Extra Space B Street in East Sac if you value what you put in storage. At this location they also rent to questionable people who appear to camp at the location (see the bikes locked up outside at night-I have photos of this as well) and those wandering the halls in the evening when the office is closed. Very sad to have valuable and sentimental items stolen. I realize, its only "stuff" but I pay to store my stuff. Needless to say-Ive moved to a more secure property just down Alhambra Blvd off Folsom Blvd. BEWARE OF EXTRA SPACE STORAGE. :( If you have to store, dont store here.

Wow was I impressed! I got assigned to find the best possible choice of self storage for my company to keep our files, this was where we landed! The place is so close, clean, and convenient to store our important documents. The deal we got was awesome and it is totally a steal. The staff (Darlene & Sara) are excellent as well. They are very knowledgeable and down to earth people who are there to help out with anything you need. The unit we got is climate controlled and that is nice as well as the convenience of a freight elevator we can transport our heavy stuff to the unit so easily. When we moved in we got to use their FREE truck and when we got to the facility, all of the carts were available for us to use which made it that much easier and quicker I must add. I would recommend this place to everyone I know and anyone looking for a great place for a great price to keep their belongings safe.

I thought the place was clean. It looks nice. But I went to move my bed out after about four months of storing only to find mice crap all over the bed and box spring. It was Sunday and we HAD to move it out because we had the moving truck.. so we carried it down to the first floor. Tuesday when I got back into town I went over there and the woman took pictures and said shell file a claim. I asked what that means, shes said so the company knows about it, I say I carried a crap-filled mattress home and only then did she say sorry. SHE ALSO SAID there had been mice problems earlier in the year but she thought "they took care of it." Poor poor service and there are mice.. Go find somewhere else. Oh and they raised the price about 2 months in..
