GRIMZ GYM UNTIL DEATH. Firstly, you come here to box. Try to come here just to stay in shape, and I guarantee you will be itching to put the gloves on and give it a try. Mel aka Grim is an absolute guru when it comes to boxing, nothing more to it. He knows how to push you hard mentally and physically. Fellow boxers and trainers are extremely friendly here too, giving me pointers and rounds even though some of them are on a rigorous training schedule. Great atmosphere, with equipment you would find at both fitness and boxing facilities. The other owner, Catherine, is also a delight to be around, especially when shes with max! Come to Grimz Gym if you want to give boxing a shot, because I can say with certainty that it is the best gym in Sacramento. A home away from home.

Grimz Gym is by far, the most professional gym I have ever been part of. From the very organized equipment, to the well run classes and very clean gym, I have enjoyed being a member for years. The owner Mel Walker is more than just a boxing coach and a trainer, he is a mentor to the young men and women I have seen him train first hand.
