Overall, the POD was very useful. Our company needed temporary storage space, in our parking lot, for some remodeling. The delivery and pick up scheduling was quick, easy, and flexible. The POD itself was clean, sturdy, and worked well for our needs. The drivers were on time, knowledgeable, and professional. I had a little bit of a hard time getting in contact with the company representative in the beginning. I had to call and leave messages multiple times and e-mail, more than I would have expected from a company who should want me as a customer. I needed a response to answer questions about billing/payment information and finalization of the order. She was polite and had the information I needed when I did get in touch with her, but I would have expected that there be someone else available to help me/answer questions if she wasnt in the office, since it was pretty general information that I needed. Like I said, overall, I was satisfied with my experience, and really appreciated having the extra storage. I have not used PODS for actually moving things, or their on-site storage, only the POD in my location for temporary storage.

I had to keep my items stored for a year while I worked in a foreign country and then needed them delivered on the other coast of the US when I got back. When I had initially set up the pod, customer service was outstanding. Even when I had a last minute change in size and delivery time, they accomodated my needs. The prices I found were reasonable and everything went swimmingly. However, when it came time for delivery, there were problems. They had lost the release papers that they had sent me and I had returned. I had to resend them three times by email and verbally confirm that they were received. I was told the dates of arrival, 9 days approximately. I received and email confirming that I would be home to sign for the POD the day prior to arrival, only to find out that the POD was never shipped. I am reluctant to use PODS ever again and if I did, it would be a last resort situation.

Excellent service for us. Shipped contents of storage unit halfway across the country. Made arrangements with the local office the week before. They delivered the pod to our driveway at exactly the appointed hour, set the pod precisely where we wanted it. We then had a leisurely week to load it (load it as you would a truck--things will shift a bit). The PODS driver came on schedule to make the pick up, and away it went. We were at the destination when the pod arrived--again right on schedule. The driver demonstrated considerable skill in placing the pod exactly where we wanted it on a tight and crooked driveway (tight and crooked for a good size truck and pod). Unloading time was less than an hour, piano included. A call to the office and they took the empty pod next day. We had excellent, courteous professional service...You get what you pay for.

The only good part of the entire experience with PODS in Sacramento was getting our things that had moved cross-country. Otherwise, our customer service experience was horrible. Driver was unable to park the truck well, damaging the container in the process, and placed it in an unsafe location on the street (in front of a stop sign). We were made to sign a liability waiver before we were even allowed access inside the container - the driver physically positioned himself between us and the container. The driver arrived later than the delivery window, so we had movers there way too early (which we paid for). Lastly, we arranged to have street delivery days in advance, and then were told the day of that we had to have a street parking permit. I will never recommend this company to anyone. Ever.

Currently having my mothers PODS container come from Houston TX to Sacramento CA. The entire process has been delayed due to horrible logistics from PODS. The original drop off was 2/29/16, then changed to 3/2/16, then again changed again to 3/3/16, and finally on scheduled for 3/5/16. Today, we find out that the container was rescheduled to an unknown time since the 800 number is closed we are unable to locate the container. Even the call yesterday, customer service couldnt figure out where the unit was. This is ridiculous because every time PODS reschedules, it costs my mother additional money. I would not recommend using PODS and will never refer them to anyone.

Pods dropped my pod off their truck after picking it up from my house, said it was an inexperienced driver! They wont refund my money for their horrible service. The contents of my pod is covered by third party insurance that I purchased through Pods but their investigation takes a minimum of 30 days. My house doesnt have furniture, my child doesnt have a bed. Pods admits to dropping the container off the tuck but still refuses to return my money, when I asked them for a refund the said "services were rendered". I would never recommend PODs. They have no compassion for the people they have harmed.

I was in a training program for a year so I decided to put my stuff in storage. Everything was easy to schedule for pick up. However, when I wanted to have it delivered I found out that they didnt service the area of the country that I had been assigned to. Being flexible, I decided to fly back to pack into a moving van and drive it myself. Turns out that this facility is only open till 3 on Saturdays and is closed on Sundays. Not exactly the most convenient hours. If I had to do this again, Id find a cheaper storage facility that kept more reasonable hours.

The POD was delivered on time and parked where designated. Then picked up when scheduled and dropped off at the rental I would move into a month later. It was fortunate to have a day early to see the size. I had to rent a storage unit at the last minute, knowing my household items would not all fit. My new landlord would not let me park two pods for a month on their property. The drivers were professional and I was fascinated by the hydraulic lift! Would definitely use again!

PODS delivered my storage unit on time and put it relatively close to where I wanted it located. The Pods associate explained all the rules to me which was great. I used the unit until I finished my project. Then I called for them to pick it up. They returned to pick up the Pod on the day I scheduled it for. All went well. The Pod was clean and sturdy. I was totally satisfied with it.

My husband and I recently moved just down the street from our old house. Our biggest problem was the two weeks between houses. PODS accommodated us and made this transition smooth and, even, happy. The drivers/delivery dudes were helpful and professional. Thanks!

The POD team is the only way to go when and if you need temporary storage. They worked very well with me on the placement of the POD and the pick up was just as easy. Do I recommend them? YES.

Just had my pod delivered the driver (Daniel) was terrific , he is so friendly and so professional at the same same, I will never again move without using this service.
