Units was hired by our Construction Team during a storm related damage repair. The Units Container arrived promptly as scheduled to hold our furniture during the repair. We had to place the usual suspects in the Container: A large sofa, onersized chair and a half, dining set, tables,lamps, and the ever so fragile china hutch with glass and mirrors. . As the Construction Crew, who had their own team of furniture movers on sight, did not come prepared with furniture pads or wrap. .:( But your Awesome Driver was prepared for every contigency! He freely offered them and had this crew wrap all our furniture! In the end we thought it most prudent to leave the Container in front of our home just to make it easier on all concerned and that china hutch. In locking the Container; once again, your Driver completely had that under control and provided a rather heavy duty appropriate lock. The Construction Crew, as far as I knew, did not have one. Not sure why and this was not a low end crew. If I had to use one my personal locks it would have been this very style as we had the same kind on a storage unit before. ( The thick silver dollar shape) I would highly recommend Units for their Driver courtesy, expertise and preparedness. What more do you want?

Moving is hard enough! I am moving, after 35 years in one house. I did a quick search for "Pods" and stumbled across a local (to me) competitor in nearby Livermore and called them. Right away, I was confronted with helpful information, clear details and sage advice. It was friendly, helpful and neighborly. Checked Yelp and that is the consistent chatter about these guys. Of course, Im a sucker for friendly help, but I also called Pods and got a call center located somewhere in Georgia. High prices. Square Peg / Round Hole. "This is the way we do it and you must conform to our way of business." And I would pay extra for this? No way. Not today. Ive had the first of two containers from Units delivered, packed (professionally by one of their suggested vendors) and taken away for my future delivery, and the experience so far has been fantastic. The people at Units are the best - they have great tips for packing, using the storage container effectively, and their vendor list is excellent. It almost feels like theyre moving with you. I cannot say enough good things about these people.

Wonderful experience with the folks at UNITS. They took care of all my concerns and were amazing thru the whole moving experience. Their drivers were extremely professional and did a wonderful job of explaining the entire drop off and pickup process as well as provided some great tips on loading to ensure the safety of our possessions. When it was time to schedule the deliver of the pod at our new home after a short time at their storage facility, UNITS was incredibly accommodating and a joy to work with. They kept me informed the entire time and their drivers showed up on time. They event took my call on a Sunday (office was closed) once the unit was empty to schedule the removal of the unit early the next week. I ended up needing 2 storage containers to accomplish our move, and I really wish I had found UNITS first. From the folks in the office to the drivers in the trucks, everyone at UNITS went out of their way to ensure that the process was as easy and as stress free as possible.

Wow! Wish more companies were this easy to work with and committed to excellent customer service. The folks at Units, specifically Donna and Rick, went beyond the call of duty to ensure that our portable storage experience was beyond amazing, especially considering we were enduring the overwhelming stress of a home remodel and all the chaos that comes with it. I would give these folks 10 stars if we could! Highly recommend them over the other pod companies we spoke with in the Diablo Valley and Tri Valley area. Not only did they clearly provide the greatest value in terms of product offered, but their customer service is unparallel, clearly setting them far above the competition. We could always reach them easily, all calls were promptly returned and their sign-up process was beyond easy and painless. Delivery of the unit was incredibly speedy; first rate equipment used by this company.

We needed temporary storage for our remodel. We chose Units and we loved it. The container was delivered on time, placed exactly where we wanted it. The unit was very clean, service on the phone was cordial and efficient, driver was polite and careful, and as cherry on the cake they have been very accommodating to our demanding schedule. Thank you team! Finally a last word to say that we have been very happy to have made the decision to use a mobile storage container over standard storage. It was a great feeling to be able to take all our time to load the unit, take it out off our way while we were doing construction and have it redelivered in our driveway. I was dreading the idea of loading and unloading the house between truck and storage, this solution made it quick and almost painless...

I am a teacher and we needed storage on the street for a mural project. I tried many different storage places trying to find someone that would work with my District Office for payment and was able to give me a specific time frame for delivery. Units was the only place that was willing to work with us and was helpful every step of the way. The storage unit was delivered exactly when they said, and the driver could not have been nicer. the storage unit was in impeccable condition. They were even willing to work with us on the price in order to help out our students. Donna e-mailed with me almost every day to make sure the process went smoothly. Thank you UNITS! And wish us luck on this mural!

I just had one of two "pods" that I have rented from Units picked up today. I highly recommend this company. They are very customer friendly and totally accommodating. There was a misunderstanding with the first rental about moving blankets. I wanted to out right buy them and it wound up as me renting them. When I called to correct the situation, they were very happy to put my "rental" fee toward the purchase. The delivery on the pods and the pick up of the first one was very quick. Everyone I have been in contact with has been very friendly and professional. If you need a pod for moving or remodeling, this is the place to go. I will use them again if the need comes up...

Donna Topp, owner of Units, heard Jackson Street Elementary School was having a garage sale to raise money to send the 4th grade class to Science Camp this summer. Donna asked how she could help and the school was in need of storage for just a couple days so the parents could drop off their donated items in advance of the sale. That was no problem for Units and Donna was happy to do it. The Unit allowed the school to collect large items (furniture etc) which were the higher ticket items. As a real estate professional I will recommend Unit to my clients who are moving. Thank you Donna & Units.
