I regret not heeding the bad review. Please dont make the same mistake I did. I thought since the review is old and their quote was very competitive plus the moving "advisor" sounded sincere enough I could take a chance. While I had no problem with the move itself -afterall how complicated can it be to move just a bedroom set plus two dressers 50 miles away? its the afterward that was the problem. Basically the employees that did the move including the driver and two other movers ripped me and my family off. The drive itself was charged double-time according to some regulation to be 2hrs which is ok with me. The labor was less than 1 hr to pack and about 40 min. to unpack at the destination. The employees lied and invented a rule that "demands" minimum 3 hrs. of labor time. So we were charged 5 hrs. of the 4 hrs (at most). Additionally there was over-inflated charge for packing materials. We had to pay them to get rid of them so we could get back to work. Then we called the company and complained to their boss or whoever in charge. We were dismissed and treated very rudely. I told him Im going to file a Small Claim suit to get my 1 hr. of overcharge back (value $115/hr.) Beware of the red flag that they made you sign agreement to pay ONLY in cash or money order. If you still want to give this company a shot make sure to keep track of the time and let them know about it: time to pack, time to drive and time to unpack. And if you have any dispute at all at the end do NOT, I repeat do NOT pay to their demand. Just pay the right amount and MAKE them go through the effort of collecting if they insist on more money. Dont trust the "shill" reviews, this company is ran by unscrupulous thieves and rip-off artists.

Normally when I move I just get a uhaul, friends, beer and we do it ourselves but that was back in my college days. Figured it was time to step up and hire some help. I found out about Cali Movers online and decided to give them a call and yes this was after calling a few other places first. When first calling them they were very professional and seemed to be a good fit for me. I booked. The day of the move came and they showed up right on time. When they first came they walked around the whole apartment. and analyzed all the furniture. After that they quickly got to work. They only sent two guys but these guys knew what they were doing. Didnt waste any time. They quickly loaded all my belongings and were on to my new place. Unloading might have been even faster. Im sure it had to do with the loading strategy. They placed most of furniture in my living room which I thought was odd but after everything was inside one of the men asked me where I want everything situated. This was probably one of the better moving experiences I have ever had.

I went to their website and filled out an inquire form and received a follow up phone call within 20 minutes of submitting my information. Mary was my sales rep who called me and got me scheduled in for my free in home estimate. Mary took care of al the small details from start to finish. The guys showed up on time, infact 15 minutes early ready to work. The team was professional, friendly and cleaned up after them selves when the work was finished. I would highly recommend this company especially due to the customer service and prompt follow up through out the entire job. I recommend Cali Movers to anyone who needs help moving on a budget but still wants to find a business that operates with integrity and outstanding customer service.

We moved from Santa Clara to Pleasanton and the move was handled with great care. The team of Gela and Vlad did an excellent job of packing, loading, and unloading of our TV and extremely heavy furniture without any damage. The move took 6 hrs, which is pretty standard I guess, considering we had 2 movers. Their price is competitive as well. Gela was nice and personable to talk to, which made the whole process pleasant. He called ahead of time, arrived within the arrival window of 9-10 AM and finished the job without any fuss. All in all, stress-free experience!

These guys are AMAZING! Yesterday, Yusuf, TJ, and Farid moved me into my new condo. They were worked so hard and fast and were able to complete the job in 3 hours! That gave me plenty of time to unpack before the day was over. They were very professional and took good care of all my things including some expensive solid wood pieces of furniture. Im very pleased with both the outstanding job these guys did and the price! Be sure to give them a great tip. These guys work hard and deserve it! Highly recommend using them for your next move.

On the morning of the move, Jose, Mark, Edgar and Raphael showed up on time, wearing clean uniforms and not looking like they had just done a bid at Pelican Bay. They quickly assessed the situation and got going. They were very professional and careful with our stuff, from small tables to a Cal King mattress - both loading and unloading. They wrapped everything well - didnt cheap out on wrap or moving blankets. They were even gracious when we had a few last minute change requests.

This moving company is unlike any ive ever experienced. I had a last minute move from San Jose to San Francisco last week and no one else was able to assist on such short notice. Not only did they accommodate my moving needs, they were also very professional and the service was impeccable. On top of that, the rates were much cheaper than those other companies that i called before! I cant thank them enough for all of their hard work and dedication. They truly were AMAZING!

My original moving company cancelled two hours after my scheduled move out and Mike, at Cali Movers, not only accommodated a same day, last minute, move (on a Sunday), but was one of the friendliest, most professional customer service representatives I have ever encountered. She is a total problem-solver, a top-notch communicator and constantly one step ahead. In the middle of a storm, she is a life raft in a sea of bad luck.

My team of 3 movers did an amazing on my move from San Fran to South SF, which I booked with only one weeks notice. This was my 2nd time using Cali Movers Inc. and the results were just as great as my first time. They arrived earlier then scheduled at 9 am and worked extremely efficiently throughout the day to finish by 5 pm. I would highly recommend them for your move and plan to use them again for my next move!
