I went to the Fruitridge location with a coupon to get an oil change for my Toyota Prius. They said they no longer honor the coupon because they dont carry the oil for that coupon - it is too cheap & too thin. Its Chevron oil, folks! They also tried to upsell me & I felt like they were more interested in my money than my car. I will not be going back. Ill be going back to Goodyear in Elk Grove. Here is a quote from a guy who knows what he is talking about - "I work in a refinery, we make all kinds of oil. Funny thing is it comes out of the same crude and is run through the same process and then packaged in different bottles. They will tell you that their oil has more of this or more of that in the way of additives but we are talking parts per million levels because we add those too. Each has their blend of additives but the difference is only so they can say it is different. Their are only two types of motor oil, crude based and synthetic which by the way is also crude based but usually a sweet crude with a really large amount of additives."

First time I went to have A/C refilled, they gave me an oil change instead and charged me for it. I gave them benefit of the doubt that it was an honest mistake and went back for a rotor resurface and new brake pads. I specifically asked for cerqamic pads and they said "our pads are ceramic, we only use quality parts". BS!!!! 1. They did not properly resurface the rotors, causing even more problems that before the car went into the shop. 2. The brake pads were not ceramic, they had ceramic flakes in them. BIG DIFFERENCE. 3. This is probably the most important thing, THEY DID NOT TIGHTEN ALL THE NUTS WHEN THEY WERE FINISHED!!! I had my husband install brand new rotors because the car was having braking issues, and he was able to unscrew over half of the nuts with his bare hand!!! I am extremely lucky that the brakes did not fail on me, especially since I have a toddler that is constantly with me. For the sake of yourself and your family, DO NOT waste your time, money, or safety here!

I printed out a coupon from their website, oild change, fluids, etc including rotate tires. The lady said they dont do the tire rotation with that package, and she had already changed the coupon online (lie!) and would cost $10. I had just printed out the coupon the day before. I noticed the Quality Tune-Up paprework hanging all over the place had bits of black tape over parts of them, including where it says tire rotation, was covered with black marker. There was a large poster on the front of the counter "XXXX BRAKE INSPECTION", most obviously it used to say FREE. After complaining loudly, a guy in back said he would rotate my tires, then the lady in front got me to sign my receipt, then threw my copy and the bill on the floor. So I threw their credit card machine on the floor. The guy then came back and said he wouldnt rotate my tires, not sure if its cause he got my money (most likely) or if it was cause I threw his machine.

This is a great place to get your work done. Miguel and his family were very friendly and the final price was less than the quote over the phone. They explained all the charges, taking special care to explain why service for my vehicle was more than the advertised price. Much of this I already knew - for example, my SUV takes 7.4 quarts of oil and the advertised price is for a standard 5 quart engine. I saved several hundred dollars over going to the Toyota dealer for the same exact work. I will definitely go back to see Miguel. Thank you.

Took my car in to get an a/c compressor put o and the next day i went to turn my car on ans the a/c was blowing hot air after they said they tested it and it was good. Took it back because the reciept says i havea 3 month warranty on the work they perform a d they refused to fix it. Very rude and dishonest people . Paid them $400 for nothing. Took my car to another shop and the guy said quality was the worse place u can go. Dont go here if u dont want to get ripped off.

Horrible service and corrupt front office staff. Employees joking with each other about upselling customers on unnecessary products and services. Over priced with terrible almost malicious customer service. Do NOT do business with these shady people. I wasted my money and hope that you will not do the same after reading this review. I plan on following up through the BBB and DCA.

Didnt honor my coupon because they said I had to make an appointment which it did not say even in fine print. I got the feeling they treat their regular customers better because someone came in after me with a smog check and left before me. Not sure if Ill come back as there are a thousand places to do oil changes.

Our company has been using Quality Tune Up on Fruitridge for a few years now, they are always available for us to bring in one of our service vans and we always get it back quick that same day. Their prices are competitive and fair and the owner is very professional and easy to deal with.

Would give zero stars if I could. Horrible service. They will break something and try to have you pay to fix it and cover it up in the paperwork. Straight up tried to lie to me, then when I called them on it they said that they wont work on my truck after they broke off 6 studs.

I was able to bring my car in right away, and everyone at the shop was very informative, and explained things! Even when I had brought it back the next day, due to my own concerns, and had forgotten to ask, and have them check something forgotten previously!
