So I went to lunch with my sister up in Oroville today and dropped off my 02 Durango at a national tire chain to get my tires rotated and oil changed. A while later they called and told me one of my valve covers was pouring oil and I needed to change it for a said amount of money. I told them no, I didnt have the money so I would have to park it until I could save up the money. When I went to pick it up, I asked how low the oil amount was but the guy said he didnt know because they drained it. When I inquired about the valve gasket, the guy said that since I wasnt getting it fixed now just keep an eye on it. I guess it wasnt as much an emergency as they made it out to be. I drove directly to Frankenstein Motors where Adrien took the time to look at my vehicle and see that one valve cover had a little seepage that has been there a while and can wait to be changed. What a relief. Im bringing my vehicle to Frankenstein for everything for now on. Excellent honest service. Thanks guys!!

I have a completely top to bottom custom car that would not start. I traced it down to a fuel problem but couldnt pinpoint the exact reason. I had 2 mechanics troubleshoot the problem down to a bad fuel pump and an unknown wiring problem with a repair quote of $600. I took it to Frankenstein motors to have the fuel pump changed and wiring diagnosed. I was called the very next day and Adrian (owner of FM) informed me that the car has been fixed and is running beautifully. The problem turned out to be a simple fuel pump relay that was tricky to find because the fuel pump thats normally mounted inside the fuel tank was out of view. The 2 mechanics that quoted me $600 were troubleshooting a fuel pump that didnt exist! I was charged only $60 by Frankenstein Motors and I really appreciate the honesty of their shop. Thank You.

Very helpful came in with a noise on my truck. Adrian looked it over a diagnosed the problem in a very fast manner and repaired it. I would recommend this shop to anyone that is in the Marysville area that need any automotive work done. FYI Me and my wife were passing through on our way back to Nevada when this problem came about . Google is a wonderful thing, Adrian that for the professionalism you showed and the honesty. My 72 year old father-in-laws 94 F-150 was having starting issues. Adrian was able to find and fix the issue within 15 minutes. A small but incredibly meaningful repair returning him his sense of independence. When my father-in-law asked him what he owed, Adrian wouldnt accept payment other than a firm handshake. Thats class.
