Ya know... its a storage facility conveniently located in the city. Theyve got big storage,medium storage, or tiny storage... Just storage, no bellhops or special mints in the unit!! At any rate, when I moved back up to the bay after a few years down south, I called Public Storage. The first month was $1 people! I mean, sure my stuff was stashed here for 9 months, but it was safe, easy to get to, and the staff are easy to work with. Personally, I dealt with Bill and Pam, the manager. Even when I was late paying them they left a quick concise message that kept me on track. I totally appreciated the fact that they had dollies and hand trucks for use at no charge. Sure, its not the cheapest storage in the Bay but thats not their fault, its yours for not shopping around. Consider the convenience and calm down. Ive even run into friends in the parking lot who were also renting a unit there. Sometimes you just need a place to dump your stuff for a while that you dont want to look at or deal with, this is your place.

I have never used a storage facility before so I was a bit apprehensive about this new experience; therefore, I decided to first look at the facility to see whether I wanted to commit and rent it but I was pleasantly surprised by the service I received. When I asked if I could check the storage room I was given a tour, had explained to me the rates and everything related to the renting by Pamela who was very professional, courteous and knowledgeable. After that I didnt need to check other facilities. I would like to recommend this Public Storage at Geary and I would also like to thank Pamela for her great service. Carmen Roman-Murray

This is the second time I have used Public Storage for long term and short term storage. Bill and Pamela who run the place provide excellent, curteous, and professional service as does the rest of the staff. Parking is available for easy unloading most of the time and the access elevator is spacious and carts and dollys and other moving items are available to help with an easy move. I had items stored for up to 2 years and nothing was damaged or tampered with nor was there any water leakage. The dust was probably a bit lighter than you would find in old SF victorian.

Been here, this morning, since 7am with 3 other customers. All of which our personal access codes dont allow us to enter the premises. This has happened to me three times on separate occasions. No one will be here until 930, at which time the majority of us working people will be at work. Bathroom has been out of order since Ive stored here. I will certainly be cancelling my unit ASAP and look for an alternative option, assuming the doors actually open.

PHILIP and PAMELA on separate occasions went out of their way to help me. I only needed boxes for my move but they were able to assist in my needs and went out of their way to get them to my car. It is very windy and Pamela even walked to my car outside the parking lot. Philip had to get some trucks moved, but asked them so patiently. I would definitely return to this location. And if I were doing a project I would want Pamela and Philip on my team.

Had to help my son temporarily move some of his stuff while he looks for another apartment in San Francisco heading into his junior year at college. We had one day to get it done and called this location at the last minute. Bill was very helpful and handled our storage needs quickly and promptly. He had other people to wait on as well, so he did a great job of multi-tasking. Clean and easy to access location. Thanks. Jim H.

I kept my stuff at a not so nice place last year and regretted it because of pests and thefts. My pal said to put my stuff at the Geary storage because he had no problems there. Hesitantly I agreed to share a space with my other pal and it was what I wish I did the first time. They keep the pests and thiefs out and I am happy they do. Sure it costs more but after the first bad storage nightmare its more than worth it!

Just left this storage unit and was assisted by Pamela. WHAT A DOLL. I was there with 2 kids, which if you know..you know. :) She made the entire transaction so easy and was so helpful and even donated me recycled boxes! I have never even written a review but I am so pleased with Pamelas customer service that I absolutely had to give her the credit and recognition that she so very much deserves!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!

Pam and the staff at public storage were more than helpful and accommodating throughout the whole rental process. We had several issues with deliveries and shipments before we got to town and Pam stayed in contact with me and went above and beyond to resolve any issues with the shipping companies. She was very patient with myself and our staff that were in and out of the storage facility several times a day.

Bill could not have been more helpful. I went to buy boxes for my move which isnt for a couple months and he explained the whole process. He explained about the different Public Storages in the City and to pick one that will fit my needs. I went to check some others out, and I will be renting with Bill. No one was better and more helpful. He keeps the place really clean too. Thanks Bill, I will be back.

I was driving around for a place to get boxes and passed this place. I went in to buy boxes for my move and Pamela was extremely nice and helped me figure out what I should get based on what Im packing. I got a discount too. The best part is I can return the boxes I dont use for my money back. I am glad I found this store. Will tell my friends to come here when they move at the end of this year.

The location in particular that I went to, on Geary, has very limited space and so they were not able to accommodate me however the gentleman at the front desk was very helpful in giving me information about the stores other locations, chances of availability and best on pricing. I still think their rates are a little high but more and more these days good customer service is a fading treasure.

I had two different spaces @ this location for the last 3 or 4 years. Pam has ALWAYS been incredibly helpful and kind. Also had an issue with getting our prorated payment returned after leaving the space. Pam referred me to the district manager Geoffrey. Some of the BEST customer service Ive encountered in recent years. Really impressed and thankful to both of you!

I really enjoy having a public storage unit at this location on Geary. It is very convenient in the middle of the city as well as the manager Pam is always so accommodating with requests of mine: Accepting packages or handing off packages to a courier when I have a emergency needs. I would highly recommend this location to anyone
