the good: - courteous professional staff that can be friendly too - clean, secure & quiet - convenient drive-up access - better than average accessible hours the bad: - narrow aisles, making move-in/out a bit challenging. suggestion: pull your 4-wheel cart, rather than push - necessary around corners. the ugh: - motion sensor lights on short timer, resulting in darkness until i navigate down the hall to trip them back on - again & again. summary: not designed for the frequent flyer. yet, ive encountered zero resistance or animosity from the staff in my daily visits. my chief objection is the above-mentioned lights issue. most people who store here rarely visit here, so i am almost always alone and left isolated here - enjoyable for me. yakkety jak over & out

I held a small storage room with Security Public Storage for a few months during the transition between apartments. Charles manages the facilities like a boss. The place is very secure (key codes to get in and out, key codes to use the elevator). Its also probably the best maintained storage facility Ive ever held things in. Cleaner, in better condition. The price was very competitive with the other places I looked at. Pretty happy I went with them and would/will go back when I need a place to store my stuff. The only down side of the place is that the parking out front is a little tricky. I wish they would paint clear loading zones in front of the place.

I stopped here with a friend of mine while we were running errands one day. A month later I found myself needing my own storage space. Coincidence? Happily, I didnt need to spend any valuable time searching! While there, I was immediately impressed with how beautifully maintained, clean, and well-lit the place was. To top it off the management team was incredibly polite, helpful, and organized. I knew that if I was ever in need of storage, Id look no further. I whole heartedly recommend it to anyone looking for storage in the city. The convenient location is the icing on the cake, and makes it as close to perfect as youll find.

This storage facility is managed extremely well. It is well-lit, well-ventilated, and very clean. Charles, the manager, is very professional, goes out of his way to be helpful, and will rent you the best unit for your needs. I stored my European furniture here for 4 years before selling it and downsizing to a much smaller unit recently. The furniture was in excellent condition after this time in storage. Charles helped me donate items, facilitated the move, and the entire process of downsizing. Its a pleasure to work with Charles. I look forward to seeing him here for years to come.

Used this facility two diferent times, The first time being in 2003. Moving back to San Francisco and restarting my life I without the slightest hesitation called on Security Public Storage... To say I reccomend this place is a gross understatement. This place and its location in San Francisco is vital. Thanks to staff such as Charles I feel as if Im walking into a familial situation more than just business. And I swear the place is secure as Fort Knox ...Plus its affordable. With my stuff I have invested in,thats a HUGE relief. Yep If you value your valuables Youll come here.

My wife and I have been using this storage place for the last two months now and are totaly satisfied with the customer service level, location right off the Bay Bridge (Since we ended up living in Piedmont) and the Safety of our personal belongings..It is a very secure building and you will see why I say this when you walk in with the plasma screen on the back wall and 5-8 CCT cameras feeding live what is going on around your stuff! To re-cap...we love it...convenience....safety....and friendly staff! Recommend for sure!

Had a great experience. Manager by the name of Charles went above and beyond by staying open late to accommodate me. I was moving from San Rafael to the Presidio, had a rental truck with a motor, transmission and two roll away tool boxes that I would not have been able to carry down in my basement. Charles kept the office open an extra half hour to set up my account and then extend the allowable time to access my storage from 6:45pm to 8:30pm. I dont know what I would have done if it wasnt for his willing to help me.

SPS is everything Id expect from self-storage -- its clean, safe, conveniently located, and decently priced...well, for San Francisco, that is. Im sure you could get a less expensive unit outside of the City if youre willing to make the trek (which Im not). The staff is friendly and helpful. I generally visit my storage unit on the weekends, and Malcolm is always lots of fun to chat with. My only complaint is that the aisles between the units are very narrow, which makes manouvering a cart around corners a challenge.

The San Francisco Gay Mens Chorus has been using this facility for a number of years, and they have put a lot of effort into the facility recently. All units now have metal roll-up doors, the floor lighting is motion activated to help reduce the carbon footprint, and it is kept very clean. Justyna in the office couldnt be more helpful. She even remembered me from a one time meeting about a month ago. They are also conveniently located and have two or three one hour free parking sopts in front of the door.

I had the best experience working with Security Public Storage. Charles (and staff) provided excellent customer service, both when I moved my stuff into a unit and when I moved it out. The facility is very clean and modern, and its very easy to get into and out of the storage units. The pricing is incredibly fair (no hidden fees or confusion there!). I am very pleased with my experience here, and would highly recommend this to anyone in need of a storage unit! Thank you Charles!

I really enjoyed using my belongings here. Instead of being located in some isolated place by a highway. I dont drive as it were, and Security Storage is only a few minutes away from Van Ness Metro. Fantastic neighbourhood full of boutiques, cafes, and restaurants. Charles, the manager is a true professional, as well as personable and funny. The place is extremely clean and professially run. I highly recommended it to anyone who needs storage.

Our business has been using this facility for a couple years now, and we have no complaints. To the contrary, weve been quite happy. The facilities are clean and well-lit, and the on-site management has been a pleasure to work with (very polite, helpful, and knowledgeable). We chose this storage site based on the fact that its only a block from our business location, but Id recommend it to anyone looking for storage in this area.
