I chose Ace for my move from the bay to LA b/c of their reputation and binding prices. They came to my house to take a survey of the items I wanted moved so they could give me an accurate weight estimate. Whatever you do, DONT let them talk you into signing a binding estimate or sell you any packing or boxing with your package. I initially signed a binding estimate quote, but luckily a few days before the move I decided to go with a "not to exceed" quote instead. The guy who came to do the survey assured me that his quote would be very accurate, but my actual weight went over by 2,000 lbs!!! Also, when I got the package deal, I wast sure if I wanted to pack up my TV myself or have them wrap it, so they recommended that I just include it into the deal b/c as long as I didnt use it they could always remove the extra packing charge. Well that was a lie as well. They told me after they dropped off my things that since my weight went over the quoted weight I cant remove the extra packing fee (I packed my own TV). And if I wanted to remove the packing fee then I have to pay for the actual weight (which was 2,000 lbs over my quoted weight) at a higher rate. So much for binding and not to exceed quotes. If you end up choosing Ace make sure you read all the fine print otherwise youll end up paying for more services than you actually used. On a side note, the actual movers were great! They took care of all of my belongings and placed all of my things exactly where I wanted them. Too bad I will never use/refer then again.

I have never written a review before. But when they asked me, I feel I had to write. I have moved numerous times across many states. And this move really stands out as my best experience. From the beginning of estimate to the delivery of the last box, all were done so professionally and efficiently, I was very impressed. Packing took a little bit longer then I expected, but I now realize that it was because they were handling with such care. I was so amazed every time I unpacked a box by how well they packed all the different sizes of items in one box. It was almost an art. Delivery was a big concern for me, because we were moving into a three story townhouse. But that was no problem. They delivered everything with care, not a single furniture was damaged. Previously, all moves made me think things could have been better. Our driver, Sean whom we adore, oversaw every detail with professionalism. He made sure everything was in the right places. He even brought our buffet table glass top (which we had decided not to bring because we didnt get the extra crating done) in perfect condition. Moving is very stressful, but they took a huge bite out of mine! I want to thank Ace Relocation for providing a good service, and I want to thank movers, packers, and our driver, Sean, for doing such an excellent job.

They worked with a Mexican moving company to relocate me to Mexico. Together they lost thousands of dollars of personal property (rug, computer peripheries, books, bed clothes, etc.) and then refused to admit any responsibility for these events. They also packed or repacked some innocuous items like cat food and medications and then later intentionally (and admittedly) destroyed the entire box which also appears to have contained some valuable personal property of mine. They destroyed the entire box because the box contained cat food and medications that are on the "bad" list for Mexican Customs. This local US company should have returned all items to me as I still own a home in the area of the moving company, where the move originated, and I had not authorized the destruction of my goods. I would NEVER use this incompetent moving company for anything. They have refused to provide me with information I requested in writing about a company they employed to crate glass. The glass was removed from my home but never appeared on the inventory and was never delivered. THIS COMPANY IS LOST IN THE WOODS!

Chris, Steve, Cindy, and everyone who had a hand in our move were spectacular. They were professional, efficient, hard-working, creative and quick-thinking, compassionate (I was coordinating with donation pickups and even a plumber as they started), personable - and even had great tastes in music to which they worked. The team Steve and Cindy had on the packing end was matched in every way by the team at our destination. I felt a complete sense of trust in their work and was so impressed by how they managed everything from bringing a several-hundred pound safe up the mountain ridge from our basement to wrapping up Depression glassware from my grandparents wedding. I was also impressed that the truck was spotless on both ends of the move. (My Unminivan was covered with road dirt from driving the distance, which included snow in Portland.) Im hoping never to have to move again (although I presume we will), but I know that if a move is in our future, I will want ACE Relocation Services to be part of it! Thanks for making this move such a great experience!

Wish I could give a -ve rating for these guys. These people took 1 month to ship our stuff from CA to TX and never gave an update on where our stuff is. And when the items arrived we got to know that they misplaced our 3 seater sofa. I am surprised as how could they misplace a 3 seater SOFA which is such a big piece in itself. They broke our speaker stands too. Filing claims from insurance company is not always a solution as getting claim is a lengthy process and it is not speedy at all. It takes time and a lot of effort to find a couch which you like to be part of your living room. I would not recommend their service to anyone. big NO!!!! This review is not specific to this center but GENERAL feedback on ACE relocations services.

I just finished my 5th move using Ace relocation (including one overseas) and I must say that over time they became a no brainer when planning my move. Every single time I had the best experience you can expect from a moving company, from the quote to packing services and delivery, even when done in a rush. I have very high expectations and was never disappointed. I had different teams but every single time their level of attention was irreproachable and I was confident they would take great care of my antiques and other belongings. Dont lose time checking out others if what matters to you is a stress free move with absolutely nothing lost or broken.

We had an excellent, smooth moving day thanks to Ace. The 3 men were all so professional and did a great job throughout the day. From the moment they arrived, they moved faster than I could even keep up with, running up and down our 3 flights of apartment stairs countless times (plus more stairs at our house later!). I have made 5 large moves over the past 6-7 years (3 across state lines) and while this was the closest origination to destination move, it was by far the more seamless move I have ever done - also involving the largest amount of items to be moved. We were very pleased and would definitely recommend to others in the future.
