I been going to GIC close to a year after having issues with my last mechanic (kept having to go back) I found GIC on YELP they had some good reviews so I took my nightmare to them. Jose explained what was going to be done and the cost. Alan got to work with my Nightmare 1995 Chevy Silverado K2500 4X4 after a few trips and lots of $$$ my truck is now acting like a truck . Experience 5 Explanation of work 5 Work Preformed 5 Trustworthy and Honesty 5 Attitude 5 Shop location 5 Cleanliness of Shop 5 Mechanics knowledge 5 Alan knowledge +10 Service 5 Time in Shop 5 I like this place and these guys will and have been working on all of my vehicle. I was a Professional Mechanic at one time so I know what it takes to work and fix vehicles. I pretty much know whats going on with my vehicles when I take them in and GIC finds the same problem I told them what I thought it could be and they dont try to tell me how the sun goes up and how the moon sets they just work to fix it. This is now where I take my Vehicles and these guys are my Mechanics and they re on the XMas list!

Initially I was here a year ago (7/2015) to have my overheating issues resolved in my 2000 Dodge Durango 4x4. 2 prior mechanics I visited which have great Yelp reviews ,had no luck figuring out the primary issue(s). So I ended up here coming up here at GIC during the hottest week of that year. Not only did they figure out the problem but the overheating hasnt arise even in my commute from Palo Alto. During this time they had pointed out some other issues as well. Tie-Rods and Steering Components being the major issues. I finally came in to finally get my Tie-Rods and Steering fixed since it has been a close to a year. What was quoted/estimated last year was roughly the same even after some 10 months. It has been about 2 weeks and the the SUV drives great and has a new lease in life. This is one of the most clean, comfortable and welcome shops in the South Bay. There is WiFi, Tv, Coffee and a aquarium and two comfy couches. Thanks Guys!! We will be back to bring my 04 Mazda3

I really enjoy coming to GIC, Jose is always very professional and takes his time with EVERY customer. When ever there is a problem with my car he takes the time to explain why this happened, what my options are, and also gives his personal opinion. Usually most Car service places want to take your money and run, but not GIC they are fair with prices and also offer uber or a rental not matter how long they need your car. Not only do they offer transportation they also PAY for it! They work fast and always call you with updates on how the repairs are going. Im happy I found GIC and I will continue to come to them with any problems I have with my Lexus!

Im from out of the area and was in town buying a used truck. I needed to have the truck inspected before I bought it. So I googled and made a few calls. This shop was the most kind and responsive. They worked with my schedule and got me in as soon as possible. They were very professional and told me everything I needed to know about the condition of the truck. Ill be going back to them when Im ever in the area. Thanks so much guys! Really appreciate it!

I had my car at a Mercedes specialist in Sunnyvale and they were trying to charge me $3k to fix the wheel bearings and then tried to scare me into fixing a bunch of other repairs that werent necessary. I brought my car to GIC and got my car fixed for $1k and they "showed" me what will need to be repaired in the future. I would recommend this shop to anyone that owns a Mercedes, save yourself some time and money and take your car to Derek at GIC.

Great customer service! First time I contacted them, they actually politely refused my business because I didnt need an oil change yet. I really appreciated the honesty and came back a few months later for them to perform the service on my 2013 Civic. Friendly, professional, and courteous auto repair shop! Their appointment reminder and maintenance reminder emails are helpful as well!

Jose and Allan serviced my 2014 Chrysler and as usual the care and attention to detail were outstanding. I had the dealer 20000 mile service done and a full inspection. Nothing turned up which was great and Jose never tried to up sell and got the car in and out as planned. Great service and GIC continues to earn my business and is my go to car service group

Great service from Alan and his crew! We just bought a 3-year old Prius for my son and GIC did a thorough evaluation of the car. I got my brake and lamp inspection here. The price is outstanding, much cheaper than any other place I talked to. They were also very timely with their service. The waiting room is very comfortable and everyone is very nice. I will definitely go back again the next time my car needs servicing.

Wonderful group of people! Knowledgeable, courteous and unbelievably responsive. I have brought two different cars here and the work is always top notch and thorough. The only downside would be that the work can be a little expensive, but it is worth paying for because they can be trusted.

GIC is an awesome shop! Alan and crew quickly changed out the rear brakes on my VW Passat while I waited. I was able to work remotely thanks to their comfortable lobby and free WiFi. Ill definitely be back for all my car repair and maintenance needs! Thanks Alan and Jose!

Good Service and Friendly people... I have had them do the maintenance on my honda 4 times now. I have always been very happy with the work and the fees. They are friendly and honest, unlike the local Honda dealership . I will keep coming back to this place.

I had my 2002 Civic checked for smog test. I got an appointment and they did the job in 20 minutes. He sent the report to the DMV online. They also gave me a receipt both for my money and the smog report. So easy and no problems. p.s: The accept Amex!
