TIP: Check in at the front counter and you may save lots of time from waiting unlike me. First time into any AAA branch. This time it was only to get my international drivers permit for my upcoming trip. No signs anywhere but I only see a very long unexpected queue that took over half hour. When its my turn I get redirected to the front counter which thought was just an information desk, but they processed my application very quickly then point me to the only cashier which took another 15 min. At least, I received my permit same day unlike if you mail it in they state 4-6 weeks for processing. Everyone was very friendly.

Paid my membership in October (4 weeks early) check was cashed 10/5/16, as of today, 1/27/17 my account shows as UNPAID. Took two hours off from work in December to settle this, made copies of bank statement, request cancel check copy from bank, forwarded all of that. Still nothing. Phone calls / emails remain unanswered by both the Utah and the San Mateo office. I have the uneasy feeling the slogan "members come first" is a bit of a put-on. If there are minus stars that is what I would give AAA at this point

Just dont get in an accident. Gr8 service which includes CA DMV services. Maps, guide books, travel services, passport photos and of course insurance available here. This location seems to have the best customer service. CSAA has sold their building and will have to relocate soon. Hope they stay in San Mateo or maybe come over to Foster City.

I love AAA. Everyone at this branch was lovely and super helpful. Came for DMV services and from walking in the door to done was less than 5 minutes. I got a bunch of road maps and guidebooks too and that was great. AAA is like paying people to give you love, attention and maps.

They always do a great job. I love their DMV services, and their staff are wonderful. They also do a great job of following-up and returning phone calls. I left a voicemail today with their DMV services, and I received a call back within an hour. Excellent customer service!

AAA have been a great insurance company for me, just as long as you do not visit this office in San Mateo (delaware st). My experience: Some guy, trying to insult me. Manager was no help and worse of all - the staffing there are definitely not friendly.

They seemed a little confused when i came in to pay my inurance and were arguing with another customer instead of listening to him. I love AAA and this location is close to me but i rather go to the one in hayward thats close to my work than go here again.

If youre not using AAA, you need to reevaluate your life. This organization is great and the team at the San Mateo branch are the best! They make life easy and carefree. They assist me in renters and drivers insurance plus road side assistance.

Came here to get my international drivers license. In and out in less than 10 minutes. Everyone was super nice and knowledgeable. Best time to go is Friday, but generally its a pretty quiet branch.
