Wow, what a saving grace AQMS turned out to be for my familys move. We had originally opted to go with another moving company (whose name Im choosing to omit) based on the cheaper quote they provided. I could NOT have made a worse decision! This other moving company was an absolute nightmare. We had scheduled our move with the plan including the company packing all of our belongings before loading up the truck and moving our stuff to our new home. Well, suffice it to say the company didnt deliver. Not only did the movers not have ANY idea that they were supposed to box our stuff up, they didnt bring any packing supplies with them! Then, when I called the local office, I was greeted with a snarky, condescending tone from the woman on the phone, who insisted that I had made the mistake and that they never knew I wanted them to pack our belongings. Too bad for her I had my copy of the receipt, which specifically stated the moving company would conduct all packing. If only this woman cared about her customers, in this case, a single mother moving her daughter to a better school district and safer neighborhood. Que AQMS. Having to scrap our moving plans for the day (and foreseeable future), I called my previous contact with Affordable Quality Moving and Storage and explained the horrendous experience we just had with the other moving company. Ben, my contact with AQMS, was not only as baffled as I was, he was apologetic! About something that wasnt his fault! Having had such a terrible ordeal, Ben took it upon himself to make our move a total success. We told him our moving budget (not great given Im a single mother living paycheck-to-paycheck), and that we wanted help packing our belongings. Not only was Ben able to make the move work within our budget, he even joined the moving team to help us with our packing! To top it off, Ben was able to make our move happen just two days after our failed first attempt with the original movers we had chosen. AQMS went above and beyond what I could have ever imagined a moving company doing. Thanks to Ben and his wonderful team of movers, we were only delayed 48 hours in our move, and we now live in a nice, quiet community in a home my daughter and I can be proud of. This wouldnt have been possible had it not been for the professionalism and compassion exemplified by the fine people of AQMS. If you ever even CONSIDER moving, youd be doing a disservice to yourself and your family if you dont contact AQMS. Everyone from the receptionist to our movers was kind, polite, and respectful. Our move couldnt have gone better with AQMS. The only thing I regret is not going with AQMS from the get go.

When my family and I were looking to move from a townhouse to a house, I looked at several factors. I could hire friends, pay them with pizza and beer, then listen to my spouse tell me how "irresponsible" my group of "drunken friends" are because look at all the "scratches and dents." OR I could fork out a couple of extra bucks and actually hire people who move furniture for a living as opposed to working in sales/marketing/customer service. I talked to some people who I trust and called a couple of companies they recommended. I was impressed with the level of communication, assurance, and commitment I received from Affordable Moving & Storage. The big day arrived, and we had done our part, the movers did theirs. They were professional, taking care of all of our stuff better than my "irresponsible" group of "drunken friends" would have. I would highly recommend Affordable Quality Moving & Storage for anyone thinking about moving from one place to another.

My first interaction was with Jack when I needed an estimate on the job. Jack is great! He showed up on time, looked super-professional, was completely customer-friendly, was a great listener, had a solution for every need, and just truly made me feel like he and the team have done this a million times and there was nothing odd or tricky about my job that they couldnt handle. On moving day, the crew showed up right on time and got to work. Greg did a great job running the crew and making a very careful inventory of every box and item going into each vault. The guys never stopped moving, never grumbled, were very polite, and just kept on working until the job was done. I didnt have a single moment of feeling like they were handling things too rough or didnt care about my stuff as much as I do. AQMS - youve won my loyalty forever. Great job!

I highly recommend their moving service, however I had many problems with the storage side of their business. You cannot access your vault without an appointment, but they consistently understaff their storage facility so its difficult to get an appointment to access your own items (think about that). They even tried to turn me away one time because they were too understaffed even though I made an appointment. Very unprofessional at times.

Not the best as the movers were not as professional and knowledgeable! The company owner offered some kind of discount but I declined because it wasnt about the money but the hassle of ending up moving your own stuff after hiring such service!
