First the good: very kind, helpful sales rep (Doroteya). From an online inventory, they estimated my move to cost about $4800. So, I set aside $5000. They sent out 3 guys and an older man who was in charge of numbering items, etc. They were pretty careful, at least it seemed. . .Before going to the weigh station, he guess-timated I would be charged more like $8400!! So, he offered me a one time discount of $7500. I decided to go to the weigh station and see what it really was..He was off by just a couple hundred pounds, but now the discount wasnt on the table. I was told to speak to Sean (manager) who couldnt speak to me for a few days. When I reached him, he said he couldnt match the first offer, but would take off a few hundred. . .especially after I explained that they took apart and loaded onto the truck a very heavy particle board closet that I specifically told all of them NOT to take, because a neighbor was coming by to buy it. It took many upset phone calls to get Sean to finally reduce the total price to $7600, which by then, sounded like a deal! Sheech! while my things were being put onto the truck, many comments were made about how much stuff I had, and why did I still have baby books if my youngest is 14... HOW IS THIS THEIR CONCERN?? I felt very uncomfortable and judged. (If they want to do small moves, they should advertise this). So, I was told the move would take 5-7 days (CA to CT). On the 15th day, my things arrived. Now, there were only 2 guys to bring it all in. One (Ramon) was helpful, nice, smart and amiable. His partner, Eddy, was Mr. Attitude. He was not careful and seemed angry. Again with the comments about how many boxes I had. . .Hey, listen - if you dont want to move things, get a different job!! I was so disappointed in how many things were scratched, dented. . .scratched my wood floors. The drawer handles of my large, wooded armoire that had been safely moved 4 previous times fell off! The metal had been broken. My daughters bassinet that was to be handed down was put in a big wardrobe box with fireplace logs inside! It was crushed, and so was I when I saw it. Also, I paid for 2 mattress boxes which were never used. Wish me luck trying to get reimbursed for those! They used massive amounts of tape on everything, even on plastic toilet paper holders! I could go on and on, but Ill stop now and just leave you all with a warning NOT to use this company. You will most likely regret it.

prestige moving were fantastic. They showed up on time, explained their process in detail, asked of any items that require special attention and even paid extra attention to our!...got to work. Once we arrived at our new place and all items were unloaded into their proper rooms we wre amazed with the friendliness and efficiency of the move. very good its just a great program for for a new way in life thank u prestige

i moved my goods from van nuys ca to Oregon i was very satisfied form the service they came and wrap my furniture very fast and in avery professionally way the price was the same as they quote me over the kfir the forman was soo nice and explain me all the charges at my delivery date the guys was on time definitely i will use that company again and i will recommend to all off my friends thank u guys........

LOOK OUT!!!! CROOKS!!! SHOWED UP LOADED THEN WOULD NOT ACCEPT CREDIT CARD AS AGREED. BEGAN UNLOADING. MY LAWYER CALLED THEM AND THEY AGREED TO MOVE IT, BUT THE $4K JOB WAS NOW $8K, CASH. I HAD NO CHOICE. LOTS OF DAMAGE AND LOST ITEMS. TOOK THEM TO ARBITRATION AND WON, BUT THEY WOULD NOT PAY. ABSOLUTELY DO NOT USE THEM, THEY ARE THIEVES LIARS AND WILL RIPE YOU OFF!!!

Almost double my estimate! Damaged my fridge and dryer, did not show to small claims court! I am on social security and had to borrow money from a friend, so they would deliver my things they were holding hostage. Please do not use this company!
