They probably wont tell you till the car is on the rack that they require a new rotor on each front break for your first appointment if you need new breaks. Then they dont want to tell that you will be required to replace the rotor every three visits - its our policy. I will deffinately update my post if these pads last as long as the ceramic dealerahip pads did (8 years). Not cool at all though to not be able to refuse their expensive rotor trap if I choose to come ba k for the lifetime warrenty. By the way, my car is a 2006 and this is my 30th year driving and managing the car maint and NEVER have I had to reaurface rotors just for break pads. Doing that shortens the life of the rotor and adds risk to break failure from thin rotors. Btw. I showed up to see if they were doing the rotors and they had not resurfaced them yet the car is due fpr pick up in 1 hour. It takes time to resurface them right. Its not possi le to resurface them while on the car either. The guy told me they were reaurfacing the rotors, i look at the car and there wete the rotors untouched. They were about to charge me for aomething they did not do. Wat h out with this shop. Really. Go to another Midas.

Amazing! I called after dealing with a dishonest Midas (different owner/town). The owner, Sandy, went above and beyond anything I could have imagined as he remedied the situation. He didnt charge me to fix what I had already paid for at the other shop. When the car had further issues, he said that those would also be covered. I declined that generous offer, though. At every step, Sandy gave me a very informative and apologetic call. When he found an electrical problem that he doesnt work on, he asked if he could arrange to move it to another good shop. Once that was diagnosed and fixed, he again called to get consent for the rest of the work, which was done quickly. The cost was exactly what he said it would be. My super reliable car is once again fixed and Midas Santa Rosa has earned a loyal customer!

Coming out of a parking lot, I scraped the plastic skid plate on my car which tore some screws through the plastic. I stopped at a gas station to investigate the noise and I my skid plate was hanging on by one screw, dragging on the ground. This was the closest place from the gas station. After explaining what happened, they promptly lifted my car to see what we could do. I told them to just throw some zip ties on it, but they took the time to find all the proper clips and push pins that had been torn off. They also threw some washers over the screws that were torn through. 25 minutes later I was back on the road free of charge. Great customer service!

The best. Previous reviews are of the previous owners and the new owners should not be docked for that. Great customer service, fast workers, and low prices. Had my engine light come on and called them to set up an appointment in one day. Sandy took great care of the car and got me in and out within 2 hours including part delivery time. These guys are phenomenal and really dont deserve these negative reviews about the previous owners. If youre looking for a great auto place, this is where you should go.

The man at the desk tried to convince me that an oil change in my 1998 Mercedes would cost me $175.00 because my car needed synthetic oil even after I told him 6 times I didnt need synthetic oil and it had never had synthetic oil in it! he must have thought I was stupid because Im a woman or something.... Good midas location with thorough honest mechanics. Owner is nice but on some repairs they will initially over charge you. Just be knowledgeable when you go in about realistic prices and stick to your needs and theyre great.
