I needed help with a specific type of car wash and the only staff clocked in was a general employee and a manager. I was asking them questions and the employee was honestly so much nicer than the manager. After every question I asked, the manager (a young guy, probably the son of the owner) would answer with very terse and blunt responses-- he made me feel very dumb and embarrassed. Maybe it was a bad morning for him, but the entire time I was there he was blatantly rude and had terrible customer service. Once I pulled my car through the customer line up, I got out and no one was telling me what to do. The manager looked at me and very rudely told me to go wait inside. In the end the actual wash on my car was worth the money but the customer service made me feel horrible. Im never going back to that place. Props to the employees for putting up with that kind of management.

Im surprised at the negative reviews. I keep my SUV very clean and am pretty obsessive about it. I have gone to many full service car washes in Santa Clara Valley and found the service lousy. This place stands out as being better. How long you have to wait depends on how busy it is, so I dont know what people are complaining about, all car washes work that way. They do a pretty decent job as far as car washes go. I dont expect perfection from any car wash, they always miss a tiny thing here or there, but Scotts Valley Car wash does a BETTER job than most. Its a wonderful place, that is kept extremely clean and orderly with a nice courteous staff. I think a lot of the people writing the reviews here deserve less than one star!

So the boss charges me $10 extra because I have a full size pick up truck, I ask him to wash out the bed, he says o.k.....I paid $40 plus $10 tip....The interior had been barely vacuumed, I had them take it back and they tried again...I guess there vacuums were broken, crap all over the interior. The bed was untouched, the windshield had bug splatter all over and nothing really wiped down at all...Pretty dismal, and then I saw why.....The boss treats his employees like crap, if I was working for him, I would punch him in the nose. The boss needs to be nicer to everyone. But, he need not worry about me, I will pay the neighbor kids the 40 and at least feel they tried to make it nice.....This place is far from professional.

Ive gone here about 7 times because its the closest car wash to my house. The first 6 times were just ok, not great but good enough. I usually just get the $16 full service. The 7th time was horrible. I paid for the $27 service because I had just returned from camping and my car was extra dirty. Ended up being $30 with the SUV charge. They didnt clean my dashboard at all, it was completely dusty, they didnt clean around the inside of the doors which really needed it from all the dust from camping, they just didnt do a thorough job at all. When I got home I ended up cleaning the interior myself AFTER I paid $30 plus tip for someone else to clean it. I will continue cleaning my car at home or somewhere else. Waste of money.

OMG This place is insane. Do NOT waste your time. I have a VW Rabbit. I usually pay $55 for a wash and hand wax, usually takes 45 minutes to an hour. This place wanted $100 bucks and an hour and a half. Then he hits me up for another $5 to "dress" my wheels. I have plastic factory hub caps not chrome wheels. I guess they dont wax the hub caps as part of hand wax. Then he says as part of the $100 they are willing to vacumn my interior for free, and on that note I left. Never to return again. Its a Rabbit not a Suburban...

I like the quality of service and the timeliness of it, but it for sure can use some guidance in appropriate service application. I got a silver car wash in here, and specifically asked to do everything except treatment of leather in the interior (because I have vinyl). They treated it with something anyway, which left my vinyl parts of the car in grease for a week. I had to rub it off my whole interior by myself. Otherwise, I recommend this place.

The three times I have taken my car here I have been disappointed. The last time will definatly be the LAST time I take it there. Not only was my car NOT clean but the inside smelled like dirty man sweat. Also they vacuumed up the insert of my cup holder. The other times the car was not cleaned properly. I went back and complained and the RUDE owner/manager didnt care. Take a drive and go to Whalers Car wash in Santa Cruz.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. They sprayed something on the windows that melted the tint. Brought it to the managers attention, he would not accept responsibility. He threw my keys in the front seat (rather than hand them to me) and told me to complain to my insurance company. I had to call the police to file an incident report. YOU BETTER BELIEVE IM GOING TO FILE WITH MY INSURANCE COMPANY. WHAT A JERK!

Was expecting a much better job when I saw the line but was very disappointed when they brought my car back and still had hair and other items on the floor and dashboard was covered in fuzzy from the rags used and cup holders still had trash in them. Definitely understaffed. Took 1 hour for a simple cleaning. Would not recommend but I do not know of another one near buy.

Not worth the price you pay at all! I spent close to $50 there and came out with a half assed clean car. I had streaks running down the side and dirt on the dash and dirt still left on the carpet. If Im paying you this much to wash a Honda Fit it better be sparkling. Im taking my car back and having them go over it again. Pissed!!!!!

Over priced. you pick the wash you want, then go inside to pay and they tack on an additional $7.00 because its a truck! For the $30 they charged they left dirt spots all over the truck the tires still had dirt and dust on them and they just put tire dressing over the top of that. Horrible Job!! Not worth the time or money.

This place does a pretty sloppy job and does not completely clean the car. I still had dirt stuck to the lower panels of my car and when they dried the car they just ended up smearing the dirt all over the car. Come on guys, for the prices that you are charging for a hand car wash, I expect my car to come out clean.

The detail price for my minivan was astronomical. They do an okay job. There is always something they miss and for $300, I expect better service. One time they made me wait for the manager for 45 minutes before they agreed on washing my van. My experience is hit/miss. I wish it was more consistent.

Took my black truck to get washed they sprayed some liquid on the front grille which now you can see where they sprayed. Wheels were not clean. And then he said that I was getting a deal because they hand wash and dry. Glad I dont live here cheaper and better job where I live just passing through.
