This has been my post office for decades. Its been updated periodically and now has a quite functional self-service machine. In the recent years, their service has improved a lot. What used to happen a while back is that if they had a delivery where they had to come up to my house, which is well marked, very easy, and with a wide driveway; they would put a note in the box, and Id have to drive to the PO to pick it up. I complained mightily every time they did that since I was home when I saw them do this. However, that hasnt happened in a long time, and misdeliveries are rare. The USPS has a lot of new technology that has helped them clean up their act. There is sometimes a line for the counter, but its much less of a problem than at other USPS offices in larger cities. When I travel, I do "hold mail" online, and that has worked perfectly every time. Overall, Im quite satisfied.

Waited for a package to arrive, by the end of the day according to the tracking service. Said the pkg. was out for delivery. heard the mail carrier coming down the street and walked out to the mailbox to meet him. He flew by my house so fast like he was on fire. I went in and checked tracking again and still, my pkg. was on the truck and out for delivery. I figured maybe Ill get it the next day. About 6pm I got a tracking alert/email, said my pkg. was undeliverable/business closed. I live in a residential neighborhood, in a house, WTF? No more delivery attempts would be made, I have to go to the PO and stand in line for an hour now to pick up my package. Our Government at its finest!

I wont order anything online from places that use USPS as my carrier is incompetent. I was waiting for an item, checking tracking, it said my item was delivered. I asked the carrier and he said he would check into it. Days later a neighbor brought my package to my door. They have the same house number but live on a different street. Another error he makes weekly is to deliver my mail to another house on the same street. At least I get to meet my neighbors and chat while we exchange mail. He is often talking on his phone or texting while he delivers the mail. The latest issue is a loan payment that was sent to the wrong house. Now my credit score is in danger.

USPS tracking said delivered. Security cameras show that my mailman is a lying thief. Mailman shows up, drops off mail, but does NOT drop off large package from Amazon as stated on USPS Tracking. Tomorrow I will confront him and show him the cameras he obviously didnt see. Ever since they closed the Santa Cruz branch Ive had stolen packages from Amazon. Ive had packages opened and the items removed only to leave me with an empty package. These people are untrustworthy criminals, and tomorrow I will look into pressing charges.

First off, they held onto a package of ours for a month and a half with no communication. Second whichever numbnut was delivering out mail left a package essentially on the side walk in the rain, destroying an $80 headset. I saw the same numbnut leave my neighbors mail box wide open after he had just delivered something, then proceeded to do the exact same thing to my mail box. These people are horrible at their jobs and have no respect for other peoples property.

Poor service, bad wait times, inconvenient hours, unintelligible staff, bad policies made up on the spot when theyre too lazy to do something. I could go on, but Id just be repeating all the other 1 star reviews. Even the US store, where my box is at, says that the Post Office is so bad in Scotts Valley that it keeps them in business and flourishing.

Scotts Valley USPS is the worst of the worst when it comes to mail handlers. Fedex and UPS are streets ahead. I cant count the number of times Ive gotten the "nobody home" note put in the mailbox when Ive been at home specifically waiting for the delivery. Usually just too lazy to walk or drive the package up the short driveway.

Terrible. They consistently mishandle packages, deliver items late past their delivery window or past posted business hours. Multiple times Ive waited late at my business for a package to arrive only for no one to show up and have them update it telling me it was delivered to a person.

Delivered 6 packages to the exact same adress and didnt even try to deliver 2 others. They just "disappeared" fell off the map. No explanation and took days and days to even acknowledge the case. No solution. No idea where my packages are and they could care less.
