Im mad. 3 weeks after cancelling my temporary mail-forwarding order the Milpitas Post Office is STILL indiscriminately forwarding my mail to Sacramento despite the fact that my online cancellation order states the cancellation is IMMEDIATE. Despite the fact that I called the Milpitas post office to follow up and they assured me the stop order was IMMEDIATE I called and spoke with the manager and apparently they have no protocol, to process in place and no accountability. Your mail-forwarding authorization instruction are merely a suggestion and carriers have the freedom to forward or not forward at their discretion without your authorization. (Mail-forwarding means a 2-3 week delay in getting your mail and packages because it all goes to a holding center in Sacramento for resorting.) What a nightmare. The manager told me that because my cancellation order is only 3 weeks old that some of her carriers are not yet aware of my order to cancel and I should expect some of my mail and packages to continue to get forwarded. What is this? The 1800s? The Pony Express? The cancellation was IMMEDIATE as stated on the website. As confirmed and assured by the post office employee

I had went to this post office to get my passport pictures and documents done and the lady behind the counter was no help at all! First off, she did not seem to know anything about passport services herself. Secondly, since there was a line, she rushed right through everything. Lastly, my pictures got messed up because she had placed them in the cardboard billfold and did not tell me to wait 10 minutes before closing the billfold. She had closed the billfold herself anyway. The pictures were still wet and stuck to the billfold during mail, resulting in the Passport Office not being able to process my passport. Now I have to expedite the service in San Francisco for another $60. When I went back to complain, they will not refund me the $15 for the pictures (I found out you can get them at Walgreens for $8) and the manager was not apologetic at all. Awful service!

They are so dumb here. I go in asking them which mailing option will be the cheapest. The lady tells me the regular envelope one. So I fill it out and get back in to the line. When I go to mail it it was more expensive then the flat rate envelope. I tell her you told me different and she says well I didnt take this in to account. Are you kidding me? I just asked you a simple question. I tell her I want to go with the flat rate she says you will still have to pay for the other envelope. I wanted to scream. When I asked why she tells me take it up with the manager. OMG! They need to fire everyone that works there. No wonder the post office is going out of business. They have no clue what they are doing and have no clue what the meaning of customer service means! I have gone here multiple times and every time its one thing or another.

I have sent 4 large flat rate priority boxes.. 2 got lost. One became a small box. They opened my big one and transferred into the small box. Only one was safely arrived. If you want to send out anything from this location, you need to buy more insurance for it.. Two years ago, I lost one and I never thought I will lose again. My parents live near here and often ship stuffs to me but they never want to go back here again ever. I would give them no star but one is only the lowest rating. If you can, I would suggest to avoid to meet with a clerk named Stephanie. She complained about my packages being too heavy and recklessly threw my boxes around.

Horrible customer counter service. Working as a service rep means you service your patrons with respect and helpful demeanor. Witnessed multiple interactions during my last visit here that displayed very rude interactions from staff. Patrons were trying to clarify policy that reps kept referring to and common response was "not my problem". I didnt witness anyone asking to go against quote on quote policy just requesting clarification. Thoroughly unsatisfied with this site as my interaction with staff was also unpleasant. Hire folks that want to do their jobs and have some self respect - these are the people that are representing your office!

Zero stars for this post office, especially the postmaster - rude & unprofessional. Doesnt deserve to be the postmaster for Milpitas. I went to their Post Office to drop off a package with prepaid postage and get a corresponding receipt. But the postmaster said USPS can accept the package but never gives receipts for prepaid packages. I was shocked with his response, and told him that I have done this several times at USPS. He continued to decline service and threatened to call the cops on me. I left the premises and decided to complain to USPS on his attitude. BTW, I went to the Irvington Post Office, dropped the package and got a receipt.

negative star for this post office, especially the postmaster "Gurpreet Ranhh**" here. Very rude, unprofessional. I think he doesnt even deserve working in communicty service. The website said the passport service is open from 9:15 to 2:15PM, my kid and I arrive around 12:00PM, he said they dont take any passport application. I talked to him for two minutes, he said he was going to call police have me remove from the porperty. Im a middle age women with a kid by my side, have no intention to make a scence. WOW, what kind of person is this, thinking back, it really disgusted me. He is so called postmaster??????????????

Worst phone system ever ugh.....and there redeliver site is a joke as well. 4 what they charge 4 everything 1 would think the service eas better. Get this i hav a p.o box here and i hav rec many boxes/letters in the box they leave u a key in your box to open p.o s lobby box 2 get my over sized item but this time they want me 2 come in and pk up an envelope from the office now mind u it does not req a signature so.....whats the deal. I called local # was dealing with computer 4 40 minutes and still no one ever answered the phone and i could not leave a message box was full !$#:;÷@-;

PLS DONT WRITE REVIEWS ON PMS DAYS Boys and Girls! Seriously now, a post office is a post office. You go there for your mails and shipments. People there are not your servants nor are they working for tips like those at starbucks or your favorite restaurants. Theyre ordinary people like you and I. They are PEOPLE WHO HELP US getting our mails and shipping at a minimum price. I dont see people at ups smile and kiss your bhind even though they charge you 2-5 times for shipments. Ive been to this post office more than a dozen times w/o a single problem.

It was nightmare trying to get thing done here. This particular branch has no order for their work practice and the supervisor Kanwal has no intention of keeping the place for business. To do passport, try other branch. I was there at 8am to get 2 numbers to come back at 10. We didnt get to the stand until 1315 (3 hours wait) to know that the clerk (refused to give her name) wont help with a renewal and my sister has to stand a separate line for mailing. We wasnt able to finish our applications for the kids because my husband have to leave at 1330).
