I am a caretaker for a very elderly lady, part of my duties include trying to find her various service people. They do not however include, at least not normally, being called and threatened with collections because this elderly woman has not paid her bill. I tried to explain this but was talked over, and told too bad as i am the one who made the appt. When i tried to call back to give the proper contact numbers for those who are responsible for her financial affairs, i was simply hung-up on without being able to get two words out. Really an awful way to treat people. I do not own the home where the work was done, and i am not in any way responsible for this woman financially. Not sure what was accomplished by not just calling and having a conversation in a civilized manner, but calling and threatening someones caretaker is just not gonna get ya paid.

Mike from Schafer did a stellar job replacing the electrical panel at my home in Clearlake. He was professional yet very friendly. He communicated with me throughout every step of the project and took care of all the paperwork and communication with the county and PG&E. He was always there when he said he would be and the job was completed ahead of schedule. The end result was a clean, well-marked and perfectly performing electrical panel. The office staff was also friendly and efficient and the payment process was very convenient. I would highly recommend Schafer Electric.

I needed help fixing a light fixture in an old glass showroom display case. I called Schafer Electric late in the afternoon, explained my problem and within 15 minutes they called back with an appointment for the next day. Tim showed up on time and got right to work fixing my light. It was awkward to work on since it was still in the showcase, but Tim stuck to it and got it repaired in a short period of time. I highly recommend them and will definitely call Schafer Electric for any future electrical needs.

This is the second time that I have worked with Schafer Electric and I can say that they are wonderful. They showed up on time and did a fabulous job. Tim and Adam were very knowledgeable and thorough. They installed a new service panel and ran new wiring in a kitchen, bathroom, and utility room. Not one thing was left undone. I would recommend Schafer Electric and will use them when ever I need electrical work done. Good job guys!!

Today we had a Shafer Electrician respond when we called to report a motion sensor light installed two years ago by Shafer wasn"t working. The unit was checked our thoroughly, reset and is now working properly. The service was prompt, courteously performed and provided at no charge since we are a repeat customer. Schafer Electric provides excellent, professional service. They came out once for an emergency call on a Sunday morning and again to install some lighting. They were on time, fast and did exactly what we discussed in the estimate. No overages for time or materials and we have been extremely happy with the results.
