I cant select a single star. So very disappointing. After having learned of Roth after they sponsored a community event I participated in, I hoped to use their services. Called in to get a AC Service and was told it would be 3 weeks and $99.99 (this was at the beginning of July and it was already hot). They placed a hold on my card for $35 or something, which is just lame in this day and age especially for a larger company, but again, I thought, hey, community building organization, Ill live with this. The techs that came did not call ahead as I was told they would. Nice enough young guys, the first entire 10 mins was spent explaining their service plan and trying to upsell me to a long term contract. Frustrating because here Id had no experience with them and they are trying to sell me into a package! Then they went about their work. At some point I was able to break away and mention that I had concern over a couple of cracked pipe insulators as well as cleaning the unit. They said nobody uses pipe insulators anymore and that they had better stuff, specifically a tape, that they would use. Well, they never did that. Also, I asked to ensure they were going to clean the unit. They said, well, well clean the filter. I wasnt sure if that meant the entire unit as described by any basic handyman manual to do, and said "okay...". On their exit they brazenly asked had I made a decision on the packages. Roth must not give them much training in the art of services selling !! After they left I realize they cleaned NOTHING and didnt replace the cracked insulation anywhere in the unit as they said they would. So I called the office the next day, and asked, "Does your AC service include cleaning the unit" and the person on the phone said, "Let me check" (hard to believe). He reviewed the apparent checklist and said "I dont see that. I will ask the manager to call you." I waited the rest of that day, and 4 more days. Then I checked the list: sure enough "Clean Outdoor Unit" is right on there. And then I compared Roth Heating and Cooling to other companies. Other companies are more specific than Roth, specifying what they are doing versus "Check xxx/yyy/zzz". And again, as compared to basic handyman 101 for AC units, the MOST important basic step is cleaning the unit, vacuuming the condenser fins carefully, and removing any debris that block airflow. I cannot support this company on either service professionalism or the actual work performed and suggest you think very carefully before contracting for their services.

My house was built 16 years ago and is beginning to need some help. Allen came out from Roth Heating, Cooling, and Plumbing to give my aging toilet and inspection. I appreciated his suggestion about a new more efficient toilet to replace the 16 year old toilet I had. The new toilet is a couple of inches higher than my old toilet. I really like the higher toilet as I have long legs and am 58". I am so happy with the new brighter look and height of the toilet that I am ordering a second toilet for the quest bathroom. Both my adult sons are almost st 64" so this will be an improvement and more comfortable for them too. Allen arrived on time for both his appointments in my home to meet my plumbing needs. Allen was professional, kind, and patient. He offered suggestions for some improvements to both the guest and master bathrooms. The new sinks he has-suggested will improve the appearance and function in both bathrooms. Allen worked quietly and efficiently. He was polite and respectful. He left the work site clean and tidy when he was finished installing the old toilet which he removed and will dispose of. Allen wore blue booties in and out of my home to keep my floors and rugs clean which I appreciated. I would absolutely recommend Roth Heating and cooling to take care of your plumbing needs. I am extremely a happy with the service I revived today from Allen and look forward to him returning with the second new toilet and the 4 new sinks for my bathrooms. Thank you Allen for all your help today! Absolutely 5 stars!!!!!

We had multiple areas of work done. New furnace, A/C. Went great. The crew were efficient, knowledgeable, listened to our concerns and wants, and accommodated the installation for us. Converted to gas water heater, which required moving the water heater to another place so it could vent to the chimney. Then found the whole house pipes were corroded and had them all replaced. Beau the plumber is the best! He is knowledgeable, efficient, he has done a wonderful job with the work. As with all of the Roth crews the work areas are cleaned up after every days work. They were consciencess about leaving our home safe for our grandchildren. The installations are custom fit. We made some changes after finding out the basement bathroom was illegally plumbed. Beau had the foresight to call the county, bringing the issue to their attention, getting the inspector out to evaluate it. Beau then pleaded our case to the county, with pictures, notations of the issues, and his plans to address the problems. The county decided to allow the fix, and certified the bathroom as legal. (Beau saved us unknown amount of money. By his persistence with the county, who could have said the entire bathroom would have to be torn out.) Our sincere thanks to Roth for having the high caliber workers they do. We felt overall we were being taken care of by professional crews with a heart. We look forward to a long relationship with Roth Heating and Cooling! Mike

I had a preventative maintenance appointment on March 20, 2017 and was supposed to be the second appointment of the day. I had to run some errands and wasnt planning to stick around all day. Since it was after 11:00 AM and I hadnt heard anything, I contacted the office to check on the technicians ETA. The scheduler was friendly and passed my concern along to the technician. It ended up being Dalin. After a phone call, he arrived in the afternoon and was very apologetic for the delay. Dalin jumped right in and did a very thorough job. Not only did he do the work but he explained the work...concerns he would have if it was his own unit as well as the manufacturers specifications. I also have a damaged filter tray that has been discontinued. I have been unable to locate one as have other technicians. Dalin offered to search for a solution and he believes hes found one. While it started off on the wrong note, Dalin totally redeemed my experience and I will be requesting him for my next preventative maintenance. Crossing my fingers regarding the filter tray!

Nick M and Mitch B were super respectful of our home, answered all of our questions and generally just did a great job. They were even sweet to my little dog who wanted to supervise them for part of the morning. I feel really good about the work they did and well probably sign up for their biannual service plan when they come out to do the free service next year. Their 5 year warranty on labor and anything they installed (other than that equipment, which also has a warranty) is way better than most of the other companies that gave us quotes. We found them by going through Costco. I didnt realize all the different services they offer and hire local subcontractors to do. The price was about on par with the other companies that gave us quotes but since we have a costco credit card, well get 4% cash back on our purchase, which dropped the price down lower than the competition. Nothing but positive things to say about Costco, Roth Heating & Cooling, Nick and Mitch.
