Today, February 22, 2016, I thank god for not being smashed between the wall and my truck by the owner, Benny Forat, of the Studio City Hand Car Wash. Benny (who I’ve never met before) lost mental control and literally went postal while inside my truck because his staff asked for help on lining it up on the tracks. Benny Forat, jumped in my vehicle and in a fit of PURE RAGE started aggressively slamming my truck back and forth, smoking my tires. I had no idea what was going on, so of course. I run over to see who is wrecking my truck and using it like a toy as I see the wheels spinning because as he drives it back and forth. He catches me between the wall and I had to jump back or he would have run me over…he then wouldn’t stop aggressively driving back and forth and than almost pinned me up on the wall. He than finally stops..opens the door and starts screaming at his staff saying “I’m SICK OF THIS S—T, and THIS PLACE and slams my door about as hard as a grown man could. He than takes of and leaves the site immediately. 20 minutes later he returns, (car was still being washed) I told him that he missed running me over twice by inches and while he screamed “Im sorry i never saw you.” He than went on to say, it’s not my fault, the idiot driving your car made me mad and I almost damaged my 200k worth of equipment. BLAME HIM…He than starts saying..I DON”T GIVE A F__K about this PLACE ANYMORE…I DON”T GIVE A F—K ABOUT YOU…I DON”T GIVE A F__K ABOUT EVERY ONE OF THOSE CUSTOMERS STANDING OUT THERE…I DON”T GIVE AF__K ABOUT THOSE IDIOT EMPLOYEES…I WILL SHUT THIS PLACE DOWN and put there asses all out on the street. They should be lucky to have a job. He than threatened to tell me if I didn’t watch myself that he would F—K ME UP and he said..”WE CAN ROLL RIGHT HERE RIGHT NOW IF YOU DON’T THINK MY APOLOGY WAS ENOUGH!!! I didn’t know what else to do when you have an owner of a company literally losing his mind, so I thought the safest thing was to shout out to the other customers that the owner was threaten to beat me and he lost all control and I may need help. That seemed to make him think twice and stop and clearly I was angry at this point, so the cashier jumps in and says “Sir, the manager gave you a free coupon for your troubles” Than Benny Forat tuns beat red and says “WHO THE F__K IS GIVING OUT FREE THINGS AND APOLOGIZING FOR ME??? Benny marches straight over to the managers and staff who were the only kind ones there and started firing them one by one and I watched them hand over their keys and walk out with tears in their eyes. In hindsight, they are better off and I should have called the police and may still, but in the interim, I thought it important to let others know that Benny Forat the owner of Studio City Hand Car Wash is not mentally well and made some serious threats toward me and while thrashing my truck around during his tantrum, almost mistaking pinned and crushed me, missing by inches. Today…all I wanted was a simple peaceful car wash and we are reminded Sometimes good people go bad and this is clearly a case here! If you like to have your vehicle thrashed and want to be reminded the value of life and how easily it can be taken. If you enjoy watching an owner of a company lose his mind, while he threatens to beat you for not accepting his apology and watch anyone who apologizes for him to get fired on the spot…this is great place to come…by the way…they did do a GREAT job on the car wash. It did look great!

I used them once two years ago when I lived in the neighborhood. I didnt like their work. It was incomplete, slow, and lacked attention to the basics. But I went back today 7/9/12 only because I was in the area and needed to get my car washed and vacuumed. I thought Id give it another chance. To my surprise NOTHING CHANGED. It still offers what I consider bad work - granted its only $13, so you get what you pay for; but this place really takes the cake. Slow and not so clean should be their slogan. I highly recommend people avoid this place. You will only be disappointed. Think of them as an old girl or boyfriend you havent seen in a while. But when you do you enjoy the brief reunion. You even think - wow ... why did we even break up? Then you start to see things that bring you back to reality. And ya say to yourself - oh ... theres that - but thats not so much then this and that start appearing after you left and the thought of calling them flies out the window and you finally delete their number from your phone. Delete Studio City Hand Car Wash - keep on driving and dont look back.

This place is phenomenal! From the moment I arrived,I was met with a friendly face and warm smile. I explained what I needed to have done and decided on the Full Detail: they did not disappoint. I had previous scratches on the top of my car and hood that were completely buffed out. They even cleaned my trunk! My car looked just as good when I drove it off the lot 2 years ago...even after driving across the country! Charlie and Rich were never pushy about what I needed to have done to my car (you know the guys who try to "up-sell" you things you dont want or need) and were very professional. Rich makes sure to check every car before it leaves the parking lot. I will DEFINITELY go back and have already recommended them to family and friends.You would be crazy not to have your car washed here!!

I have been coming here for the past year, and will continue as long as I live in the area. There are usually 2-3 people working on your car at the same time, and they NEVER miss a spot. Came back from a road trip with bugs plastered on front bumper, I thought for sure it was going to take a few trips to get off. They make every square inch of my car shiny and spotless. They even wipe down the inside and vaccum for you. For 12 dollars, or 15 with the tires and wheels special, it is so worth it. I tried taking my car to the do it yourself wash, ended up spending 10 dollars in quarters trying to accomplish what they do...and I scratched it up a little on the door from the stupid hose swinging all over the place!

excellent, fast, courteous, professional service. had never been there so took a chance since I was selling a car and really needed the extra care you get when they hand wash. I was not disappointed. highly recommend this location, and the staff. on top of the usual circumstances, I arrived just before closing time on a Sunday afternoon, yet the work didnt show any rushing or shoddy quality. I paid $30 for the deluxe wash to get inside and out done well, along with wax. I even had a bunch of shredded packing peanuts in the trunk and they took care of those no problem despite likely being an irritating mess. highly recommend these guys, as well as the courteous gal behind the counter. bravo.
