I should have trusted the online reviews and saved time before calling them. I still decided to call them. I spoke with someone called Jamila who provided me with a much more expensive quote compared to whats available on Expedia. I asked her to double check herself and she kept talking around the topic. She even asked me to email her a snapshot which I did and still she kept denying the quote that was available online and that it was much cheaper. I mean, this is common sense, a simple google search, why did she need me to send her a snapshot. My simple question for her was, can she offer me a cheaper price than that and the whole conversation was useless. I should have realized sooner that they suck. Finally, she must have run out of excuses because she gave up saying "You can buy it online". Yes, sure I can and WILL buy it online. Why would I pay you for your horrible service missy..loll Im not stuppid. Save yourself some time guys and find a better travel agent if you can. Stay away from Sunnyvale Travel.

Worst service. Not worth the price. OK, I accept you wont expect much from a desi travel agency interms of service that too in bay area., but this was too much. I see that their service had gone from bad to worse over the years(based on the prior comments). Before I went there, I had gone to USPS to ship out some documents and was impressed by the service and courtesy they extend, and hoped for the same from a pvt company that too after I was giving them so much of service( ~$3000). For simple innocent questions like would someone provide layout assistance, help regarding special meals etc, when to pick up the tickets etc, got a weird rude response from the fat lady manager there. Not sure whats so wrong in those innocent questions, as after all, we as happy travellers would be having many ideas. Why anyone would need a travel agents service when u have the friendly websites doing hte job for you, ofcourse the price maybe better in this regard. Overall, the price is ok but the service is horrible.

I have used them several times before and always found them to be very competitive in pricing. First few times they were very helpful and courteous, but lately (for about 2 years) I have been seeing them to be very rude, they dont have the patience to talk about choices and I just had another bad experience. She wouldnt listen to my question completely and giae me a stupid answer (assuming my question was stupid) and when I tried to repeat the question in order to make myself clear, she stopped me again in the middle and started shouting that I am asking the same question again and even disconnected the phone. How rude!!

When i entered the place they were very rude, i asked for tickets to Europe and they told me that prices were very high during July and August and they didnt even know when i wanted to travel and if i can or not afford expensive tickets, then i asked for the route i wanted and without even look at the system she said we dont do that route, they should not call themselves "Travel Agents". Will never try this agents again and will make sure that any of my friends here do.

I called today to get a quote. And she tells me the quote and asked me to do a block yet. Then I say I have enquired some place else and they made the blocking already for a better price. And then she tells me why I spoke to her that long after she gives me a higher quote. I kept asking about other options like other airlines to see if I can get a better quote. She tells me I have wasted her time. This is not what I expected from a reputed travel service.

I have been a customer for Sunnyvale Travels for more than 7 years now. They are providing a Great Service as far as I am concerned. Everytime I call them they are very courteous, very professional while talking over the phone with me. Also they always give the BEST rate compared to anyone else in bay area. I wish Sunnyvale Travels the best and if there is anything they can do better we should communicate & express the feedback. Thanks, CS.Rajasekar

We asked them to change our departure date and they said it is done. One day before the flight while trying to do web check-in, we found that the ticket was not eligible for check-in. On calling customer care of the airliner, we were told no change to departure date has been done! Never ever again going to use their service.

I tried booking a ticket with them as some of my friends had booked but instead of finding the best fare they tried giving me fares only from singapore airlines. Later when i found a better deal myself and booked it they were too rude and unprofessional in speaking to me. They really need to learn to handle customers.

Really surprised by the bad reviews. I have been booking tickets from there for 4 years now and had great experience each time. I usually call 3-4 travel agents to compare the rates and ST always gives the better rates. Aman and Bijal are 2 people that helped me and they are professional and helpful. Keep it up guys.

the staff at sunnyvale travels is extremely rude and do not have the courtesy to deal with customers. I contacted them based on a good recommendation and was surprised by how rudely their staff spoke to me. Do not waste your time with these guys! there are sevreal other travel agents out there...

when I called to book my tickets, agent named Deepti picked up the phone, she put me on hold for 20-30 mins and and every time I called she would just put me on hold, after sometime someone else would pick up the phone and ask y are u on hold? It was so frustrating, horrible customer service.

- They are prompt - They have always gone out of the way to help me ( was in an instance where I needed some last minute help regarding my tickets when they had already done their job) - They are willing to price match Have not had an issue with them for many years! Ask for aman

When I called and asked for a quote. I was put on hold for 20 min, and then somebody picked up, and within 10 second, she put me on hold again. Never comeback. Prior to that, my wife called them for a quote. The same lady picked up and was very rude to her. Dont waste your time...

Sunnyvale Travel has iffy service. They have come trhough with tickets though Sometimes you have to wait until the last minute. I truly wish that they follow up on phone calls. Very bad at returning calls when promised. Kinda late in confirming tickets.

We get our tickets to India from them they usually give the best prices if you one of them who is comparing the last dollar. But you have to stay on top of the people and have time and patience to be on phone while dealing with them

I think they are full of it. When I called, Manisha promptly took my number and said she would call right back. Then 48hrs later, I booked my flights with another travel agent. Clearly they dont care about customers..

Complete cheats. They charge $50 to $100 more every time. After the 1st one or two times, once the trust was established, they were ripping me off by $50 to 100 every time.
