Generally this is a nice facility and the staff has always been very courteous and helpful with one BIG exception........Betty who teaches step class. I had wanted to use one of the mats of which they have an abundance not in use...I asked her nicely at least twice both times she aggressively told be no! No! NO! she actually stepped in front of me and placed her hand on the mats as though she was guarding them! I felt she was ready to assault me! unbelievable! I was shocked! This rude woman needs to be discharged immediately.... another member who saw the incident stated she had also been threatened by this woman. Hopefully this otherwise fine facility will act on this persons aggressive and hostile attitude.

Very friendly as they explained to my husband and me that there really is no true financial assistance for those disenfranchised of the local community. All we needed was access to a shower so we may present ourselves clean and ready for success in the work place. This YMCA really does not uphold, within the community, the Christian principals the organization says it practices.

Cleanest YMCA Ive ever been to. The equipment rooms are somewhat small and awkward. The free weight room is particularly small, with no squat rack, just a smith machine. The pool is very clean while not being super chlorinated. Overall, very good for the price.

Great clean, beautiful pools and jacuzzi. Some like me, like it hot some dont. I enjoyed the Aqua Zumba class with Hiroe. I just wish the other water classes could be in the evenings too for those that still work. I also would enjoy a Tai Chi class.

Not only the best ymca but the best community center and gym! So Many programs for all ages. Great staff, good equipment and facilities, something is always happening for every one! Membership is very reasonable! Drop by the South Bay YMCA...!

Whirl pool and pool have a black filth ring around them. They allowed another person to close my account my phone was stolen out of the womens locker room

Best ever YMCA! Always spotless. Lots of free classes for kids included in membership. Great variety of adult classes as well. Friendly people.
