I have had Lawrence Electric over for three small projects in the past two years. One was for electrical to new shed, then a check of our electrical grid to see if there was a dead short draining power somewhere, and just recently running a power supply to our new inverter cooktop. On all 3 projects they gave me an approximate estimate of the cost and it was done "time and material". The final cost never varied more than +/-10% of their estimate. Everyone of the workers they sent to our home were courteous, respectful, highly skilled and professional. The thing that impressed me the most was their willingness to come out and do small nuisance jobs for $300- $400. I used to have my own construction company and it is hard to make money on the little jobs and I generally avoided them. Lawrence electric seems to be a truly community oriented contractor, you can use/depend on them with great confidence! Ron karaglanis

Herbert Lawrence sent 2 men out when I called for an estimate for electrical. These 2 men ( I never saw their license) talked me into get the work done then, saying they could really cut the costs for me. I found out later they lied when said they pulled a building permit and all the extensive wiring they did was not permitted. Now no electrician will touch it, saying they do not want to be liable pulling a permit on someone else work. The building department is saying that I need to open up the walls to expose the wiring so they can inspect the work. I have filed a Complaint with The California State Licensing Board in Sacramento. He refused mediation, we are in the next step, Investigation. At all costs AVOID THIS COMPANY THEY ARE CROOKS who think they are above the law! I will update.

Have used Lawrence Electric once for a pretty good size job. They were fast efficient and affordable. I now have retained them for all my electrical small or large. The work they did was outstanding. The workers which were usually one of two were helpful, respectful and informative. I really am happy I have them. No job is to small for them and I truly appreciate that. I have a smaller job that they will be doing for me.
