I appreciate the response from Jerry R. Reynolds of Reynolds Electric regarding our experience with his company and would like to address two points. The Project Manager and General Manager of Reynolds Electric did not follow through with when they told me they would contact me regarding billing. I e-mailed the PM 6/23 and was told I would be contacted on Friday. I followed up Friday afternoon with the General Manager and was told the PM left early and I would get a call back on Monday. Monday at 4:30 I called and was promised a call back the same day and received no response. My husband called Tuesday and within 15 minutes was told he would be sent a copy of the invoice I requested. When a business says they are going to get back to me and they themselves set the deadline and dont follow through it is poor service. Mr. Reynolds states I feel that its safe to assume that you would not have agreed to pay in excess of our hard-bid amount. As homeowner I have worked with a variety of contractors and have always received a proposal and an itemized invoice of the work done with any necessary revisions and changes notated. Sometimes it ends up costing more or less than proposed but we are willing to pay for legitimate work done. The electrician showed me how the previous homeowner cut the carpet and molding so the baseboard appeared installed but was leaning against the wall. As there was no electricity running to it and it was only two feet in length I did not feel it warranted an additional $60 removal charge. I think most clients would agree this is fair.I noted in my e-mail to the Project Manager if there was something else the electrician had to do for installation/removal of the baseboards that offsets this charge that is different and that is partially why I wanted to have an itemized invoice to see if any additional remarks/changes were made.

DONT USE REYNOLDS ELECTRIC!! Their practice of bilking their clients is outrageous! Not only did they charge for travel time to and from and time at the hardware store getting the equipment they should have had with them, they also charged for an unneeded permit. Plus they charged almost $40 just for them to APPLY for the permit!!! These underhanded practices were never ONCE related to me in any sort of way! I dont blame the technician who did the work, when I asked him how much it would be he told me that they dont even tell him how much they charge! Poor guy is probably under paid. When I called to talk to them about my bill they were rude, and mansplained the citys permit system to me. Dont waste your money, go with someone else! I would give no stars if I could.

I continue to be impressed with Reynolds Electric. They are always super responsive, coming out the day of or the day after, and their staff knows how to handle even the most complex of problems with a relatively new home owner...of a super old house. Yeah, there might be cheaper electricians...but Reynolds pays for itself with their responsiveness, knowledge, and customer service. The time my service panel caught fire Reynolds was the only local electrician that answered phones after 7pm. Ive never called anyone else!

We needed some work done in our bathroom and after several weeks of unanswered calls and no-show appts from other companies I called Reynolds. They were friendly, I was immediately able to speak to an electrician and was able to get an appt within 5 days. The electrician showed up right on time, completed the work in under an hour and looked at several other things in our home that we had questions about. They even sent me a thank you for my business. They will be the only electricians Ill use in the future.

They did an excellent job! We bought a house built in 1950s. We had to upgrade the panel from 100Amp to 200Amp, and had tons of small things to upgrade. I am very glad I chose Reynolds out of the 5 local contractors. Their price was very reasonable. It is not the cheapest, but they were the most professional, and they provided great quality of service. Sean, the electrician who came, was such a hard worker and easy-going person. We enjoyed working with people from Reynolds. I highly recommend Reynolds.

Wonderful family business!!! Several years ago we used Reynolds Electric for some minor projects around the house- we were very pleased with Jack and his crew. Last month we completed a kitchen remodel and used Reynolds again. We were surprised to hear the Jack had retired, but were delighted that his son Jeremy took over the business. Jeremy and his guys were so great- everything that they did was perfect, timely and affordable.

Reynolds Electric was a subcontractor when we remodeled our kitchen. Everything was done exactly to our specifications and the on-site electrician was knowledgeable and friendly. At another house, when we had trouble with outdoor outlets not working, I called Reynolds Electric to help troubleshoot. They gave me a few tips over the phone and that solved it. We will with out a doubt call Reynold Electric for all our future work.

Strait Fraud! I called them to provide device make and model two weeks beforehand to hook up zwave switches that they said they could do they had a alcoholic (((shaking))) show up read the directions in my living room after taking apart my house they never got it done. Then charged me anyway. BTW I paid my bill and am reporting them. I did it myself and will rate them and tell everyone I know.

Reynolds Electric is a great choice for those wanting to dip their toe in alarm system monitoring, since theres no long-term contract required. You can choose month-to-month billing, quarterly billing or annual billing. And their installation technician, Kenny, rocks!
