I really wish Id read reviews before I brought my gorgeous red silk dress to be dry cleaned at Doheny Cleaners. Id gotten a few things cleaned there before with no problem, and theyre right across the street so you cant beat the convenience. Also, the owner runs that entire block - including Nails and More and the Fantastic Sams, both of which Ive patronized many times with no problems. But when i picked up my red dress, I noticed through the plastic that the delicate sleeves were all frayed, and weirdly unevenly. I pointed out the damage and asked him what happened, and he put his hands up in the air and said, "I dont know, it wasnt us, we didnt do anything." I showed him again and he said, "Thats the style." I emphatically showed him how uneven it was and again asked for an explanation, and he said, "I only dry cleaned it. I have no responsibility for any damage. It was like that when you brought it. I have no control over what happens here." His immediate defensiveness incensed me, and I started yelling, "What do you mean?! You DESTROYED my dress?!" and he started yelling back at me, in front of his entire staff, in front of other customers. I started cursing and yelling more and then realized how inappropriate we were both being, so I leaned into him and said, "Im not trying to fight with you, I just want to know what happened to my dress" and he yelled back at me and was in complete denial, telling me to take the dress back to the store, that it was cheap and defective. I paid the $12 cleaning fee (he never offered to waive it or remedy the situation) and left in tears, also having noticed the red color fading at the waist. This guy is a horrible businessman. He cares nothing for customer service or for quality in service. He actually cited other times that expensive coats and dresses had been brought in and ruined, and how those werent his fault either. I was screaming at him, "WHY WOULD ANYONE EVER COME HERE? IF I HAD KNOWN, I WOULD HAVE WORN THE DRESS DIRTY AND JUST PUT ON A LOT OF PERFUME!!!!" I actually went back later that day, after Id calmed down a bit, to tell him how poorly I thought hed handled the situation. At first he denied yelling at me (which clearly from the other reviews is habitual for him) and then he told me it was all my fault for using "that language" with him (e.g. the F word, etc., which I maintain he deserved). I told him that although I lived across the street, I would never give him my business again - not at the dry cleaners, nor the nail or hair salons. He said sarcastically, "Aw, thats too bad" and gave me a frowny face. He clearly doesnt care about maintaining his clients or doing a decent job. (That being said, he did take the stains out of my dress, but it is unwearable now, and unfixable by any tailor.) DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!!!!

THEY LOST MY CLOTHES AND ITS BEEN TWO MONTHS AND THEY HAVE DONE NOTHING TO REIMBURSE. THEY SENT ME SOMEONE ELSES CLOTHES TWICE, AND THOUGHT THEY SENT MY CLOTHES TO A LADY IN THE VALLEY, THAT MAKES 4 INSTANCES OF LOST CLOTHES OF JUST THAT I PERSONALLY KNOW OF. READ THEIR YELP REVIEWS. TERRIBLE.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS -- unless you want a sky-high bill. Be sure you ask for exact pricing before you drop-off your laundry. This is owned and operated by the next door Artistic Hand Laundry - so be careful at both locations and DONT GET TAKEN to the CLEANERS!!!

I think Eric is amazing. I love the man and find him wonderful. I am shocked when people have a bad experience, because Eric is honest, available and will do anything you need. I assure you of that.

I brought a silk kimono in to have the musty smail removed. It came back smelling the same and more wrinkled then when I brought it in.

Insanely expensive. Charged and labeled as gown that was a cotton summer dress and it cost more than the dress.
