Im generally a fan of Pep Boys for their computerized records of my car repairs and reliable warranties. They usually have pretty competitive prices on parts too. However, the few times Ive been to this store, the staff were generally unwilling to help me. I bought some power steering fluid and asked someone for a paper funnel (the kind you can find at any gas station for free) so I could add it to the car. I just got a simple no. Then I asked to borrow one of their plastic funnels and they just looked at me like I was crazy, mechanics included. My car was about 30 feet away and visible and they wouldnt help a customer out. Another time, I asked 3 different people if they could help me determine the size of my steering wheel so I could by a new cover. Finally some one lent me a tape measurer.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO THIS PEP BOYS My Ford F-150 FX4 just turn a 190,000 miles on it, so I am think about putting new Spark Plugs in. I thought, hey let do a radiator flush on also, because I do go to the desert to go riding. Well, they did the Plugs & flush, but when I left the store my truck did not run right. The CHECK ENGINE LIGHT came on. The next day I took it back to have it looked at, and the solvent from the flush eat the gasket to the #1 cylinder. So Now I have a blow head gasket, and they wont fix it, because my truck has 190,000 miles on it. They told me that I need a new engine. Well, I told them to give me a call with some prices. I went in there 4 times, and talk to all the managers, and they will get back with me. NOT ONE PHONE CALL FROM ANYONE.

Didnt even make it to the place, I called to see if they can help remove a stripped drain bolt for the oil and the woman who answered kept insisting I would need a new oil pan as well and said they would not remove the bolt unless I replaced the pan because the "inside threading might also have a 50% chance to be stripped" if that were true I dont think the bolt would stay in there and hold oil pressure my car has 0 oil leaking! Terrible upsell tactics shameless theres a 100% chance Im going somewhere who knows what theyre doing

I got put on hold by a male at parts counter. After literally 8:47 minutes, I decided to hang up and retry, giving them the benefit of the doubt. a gal answerd; sounded like she just woke up. I said i was on hold that long wondered if they might have forgotten about me. She said, "i just came back in". No apology or nothing. To top it off, part i wanted was twice as expensive, not in stock, and if i wanted it sooner than 5 days, i can pay about $11...hell, easy decision, rather pay 3x as much anywhere else...

Worst service ever!!!!! As far as I can tell there were only 2 employees in the store. People were lined up for parts and that was about a 30minute wait...then it was another 20 minutes to check out at the register. I could have gone to many other auto stores and got what I needed in the almost 1 hr I spent waiting to get 1 spark plug. Never going back! Service is horrible.

Had a great experience getting my shocks replaced last time I went to this location a couple months ago. Now its time for new tires and looks like Ill be stopping back in shortly. The Manager was very helpful and friendly, so was the staff. Thanks again Pep Boys for being #1 in customer service in my book.

I stopped here to buy some parts. Jacob the store manager was very courteous not only he had the parts that I needed in stock but he also price matched! This is one of the best stories that I have shopped at ;-) Jacob is mastered at customer experience and making sure things go right.

The staff here are great at working with you. If there is a problem, they go out of their way to fix it. Dont use the website to make appointments, call their service dept. They take much better care of getting you in than the website.

Ive had the best customer service at this Pep Boys. Been there several times, most recently dealt with Ohad. Very helpful and friendly. The work was done quickly even though they were super busy.

This place does not answer their phone. Dont believe me? Go ahead & call. I called 3 stores... Westminster, Santa Ana, & Huntington Beach... trying to get information & none of them would answer.

Poor service, not helpful, slow, and understaffed. Youll be much better off going somewhere else.
