My vehicle spent 11 hours over two days at this shop while they attempted to replace 3 drivebelts. The first day they were able to put two belts on, however they didnt have the correct sized belt for the last one so I had to comeback tomorrow. When I came back the next day they told me it would be about an hour. 4 hours later two people were trying to explain something weird with a left thread bolt. I asked them to put everything they could back and we left asap. We went to R&N Auto Repair(18563 Valley Blvd) maybe a mile away and I was shown that the bolt had been incorrectly installed so that the threads had been damaged. I drove away from R&N with everything fixed within an hour. This is my account of what happened. Below is my personal opinion of this Pep Boys location: I would not reccomened this location to anybody. I would actively stop my friends or family from going here. Im not sure about other Pep Boys locations but after this I am going to try and avoid the name altogether.

Restocking fee for a same day return?? Unheard of!! But she saved the day! I was returning a snow chain that I purchased this afternoon, I went back to return it since I can get it $12 off online and pick it up the next day. they wanted to charge me a restocking fee!! I just bought it not even 2 hours ago!! anyways this girl Betty helped me work around it and gave me store credit and even helped me order it online and pick it up the same day! She went out of her way and figured it out! Unlike the guys there who just walk around and pretends theyre busy. LOL Those guys need to get some tips from this girl! Good job Betty! All 3 stars for you only!!

barebones in terms of service. i took the car in for an oil change, wherein if you schedule an appointment ahead of time, you are guaranteed a 30 minute oil change. i left the car here, went across the street to target, and 45 minutes later, still no call (they said theyd call me when the car was done) so i walked back over, and the car was done already (nobody called). there was a TPS sensor light when i brought my car in, the light was STILL on when i picked up the car--so i guess a 30 min oil change just means oil change--no checking tire pressure.

Needs more attention to customer support. Sometimes difficult to ask for help when needed. Customer service employees should talk with positive tone and smile. Not talk with facial expression as if not enjoying coming to work. Your customers WILL remember the ways you treat them and how you carry yourselves as employees representing a business. The worst place ever for any kind of purchase, DO NOT GO THERE AT ALL, YOU WILL BE FRAUD. They fake test results in bad battery and refuse refund. The battery is only been purchase for four months!!! Have file to Consumer Bureau already, and I am also prepare to sue them for this. They FRAUD people and are very fake&rude

worse service ever. the manager has really bad attitude, he said even i call the Pep boy customer service department file a complain, they still gonna transfer the call to him. which means i cannot do anything with his bad attitude. 2hrs wait for a battery replacement(which i told them i can do it myself with 5min.)

The worst service I have ever had. Wanna do tire repair, letting us wait more than two hours even around close time. Nobody came to ask us or inform us. We reminded them again and again. Our car still didnt get fixed. Wont chose this shop only for emergency. Feel so bad!!!!!!!!

Word to Pep Boys customer service. I was just about to have Simple Tire ship some tires to your Gale Ave shop for installation / alignment. But due to the negative reviews, I will have another local shop perform the installation / alignment.

Horrible customer service. Ruben purposely works at a slow pace. He is rude and insincere and when I expressed concerns, he shrugged it off and said it was my fault issues occurred. I will never use Pep Boys again due to his horrible service.
