When we scheduled our move, we were told PODS would deliver our storage unit to our new home when we were ready for it. They were told where the new address would be. When we called to set up delivery, they informed us they dont service that area! They have been completely unapologetic about their error and totally unwilling to do anything to make it right - - no discount, no exceptions, much less waiving any sort of fee. We were told they will deliver within 70 miles of the storage facility. Our new home is just 60 miles from their facility, but apparently in the wrong zip code. They will not even waive the fee to deliver the POD back to our current home before we move to help offset the cost we will now incur to have someone else reload and move all the items we have in the POD. Worst customer service Ive ever encountered. They just repeat canned phrases over and over instead of actually trying to help the customer or resolve a problem. Im kicking myself for spending the extra money for their service for the added convenience of not having to move everthing twice. Now weve paid their ridiculously high fees and still have to move everything twice!

When I placed my order PODS quoted me a delivery price but when they delivered my POD I was charged a different price. When I called PODS they told me it was based on the zip code which was not told to me when I placed my order. When I went to get into my container I was given the wrong address and it took 3 calls with PODS to get the right location (I was put on hold for 15 plus minutes for 2 of the calls), very annoying, I even gave them 48 hour notice to get into my POD. Pick up and Delivery was great!! The drivers were awesome. But they need to work on the phone customer service and communicating the correct charges. They said the PODS are stored in a climate controlled facility not sure about since I had some candles that were melted.

I must agree with the comment that they are rude and will not work with your schedule. We are running into repeated issues with our move using Pods. We had to make some last-minuted adjustments to our planned move and ended up scheduling our pickup and deliver about 2 weeks out. Well, unfortunately for us they were booked pretty much that entire time. The Pods themselves are convenient, but if you need to make any changes at the last minute (which means within 2 weeks) you better be ready for a lot of trouble and a ton of "call us back tomorrow to see if anything is available."

Horrible. DONT USE THEM: THEY ARE NOT THAT CHEAP AND ARE HORRIBLE TO WORK WITH!!!!Drivers are rude and will not work with your schedule. They are worse than the cable company. We got 3 pods to facilitate a move between houses with a lapse of 30 days and all scheduled pickups/deliveries were screwed up. I would never recommend PODS to anyone. The price is only about 10% less than renting a truck and storage unit if the time between moves is between 30-60 days, and given the hassles of delivery, definately not worth it.

Got the job done. Our pod was not able to fit anywhere for unloading and had to return to the local storage facility. We had to go out and rent a u-haul and move our stuff twice unfortunately. Mike did his best though and tried for an hour to park the pod. Things always get stressful moving! They have about a week delay on moving the pod but you can access it at the facility with ease. If you are moving long distance consider the extra cost if they cannot drop it off in the driveway/nearby.

Lost my pod for almost a week....... Forgot to pull a permit and refused to deliver my pods. Didnt help me then said theyd get a manager. On hold for 20 min till the line timed out. Tried to call back but there menu wouldnt let me get to a human. I paid for movers and flew my brother in to help and took vacation. PODs responded to that by ignoring me, not ever a sorry. Call center is unorganized and has issues supporting any problems. NEVER AGAIN

A water line failed and our basement flooded. I knew I needed to act fast. I went online and scheduled a delivery of 2 PODS the next morning. Drivers called on their way, were courteous and helpful, both in dropping off and picking up the PODS. A couple of months later, when I had a billing issue related to a pickup date, I talked to a representative who addressed the problem promptly. I would definitely use PODS again for storage and/or transport needs.

PODS provides an excellent solution for temporary storage or efficient moving containers to move long distances. At Altitude Movers we often recommend PODS to customers that want to remodel or have a transition period between homes and need temporary storage. Watch out for misinformation or lack of information during quoting process. Insure you ask for ALL costs involved with drop-off, pickup, holding, schedule delays, insurance, etc. I had various surprises in the final billing and was repeatedly ignored when I pursued PODS with followup questions. After months of PODs lack of response and them telling me case was "closed" a couple of times (which I "reopened") I gave up. Never will use them again.

We moved from Maryland to Denver in April of 2015. The whole PODS experience was really good. Company does exactly what it advertises and the cost was the least expensive by far. They came on time, took good care of our stuff, we used the service of getting access to it while they were in storage and that all went well. No goods were damaged and I would highly recommend this company.

They keep banging my bank account as if I signed up for auto-pay! Never again...4+ years and they raised my rate 25$ for no auto pay...as a business owner I find their practices unbelievably unacceptable as a consumer. I experience collection calls daily from my bank with unauthorized pmts.

good for local moving only in my opinion. they want $1700 to drive a 12 unit 450 miles away. I can rent a UHaul for $500, so even with a flight and paying a couple movers to unload it into a truck while parked in their lot, i still save probably $800
