As the person who formerly was the operations manager at Able Services and as the one whos previous customers feel the need to reference on their reviews, I must answer to the accusations. Able services is a company you should not use. They frequently use crew members who are of poor quality in their lack of experience and criminal backgrounds. They routinely send men into customers home who are known thieves and drug dealers. Additionally a member of their staff for almost a year was convicted of sexual assault on a child. I very often took issue with the men they insisted I send out and even often times refused to do as they asked because of the worry I had for our customers., I did not ever lie, I had terrible owners, unreliable staff and very little money to run things properly. DO NOT USE ABLE SERVICES. You run the risk of high dollar damages and having your things stolen. I would not publish these things if they were not true because I know the law quite well and the only defense to slander is truth, and thats what i put here..truth. The person now running the place has almost no moving company experience and frequently angers customers with the poor service. I hope this post prevents someone from using one of the worst movers in town. They wouldnt pay the person who worked 70 hrs a week for them what they had earned and frequently take money/hours away from movers because their finances are managed so poorly. Use able at your own risk. They dont care about their customers.

Three words, Aweful, aweful, aweful. I hired this moving company to do a local move for me. The contract called for 2 trucks and 5 employees. Only 1 truck showed up and 4 employees. The Foreman of the move told me that the second truck got held up over 100 miles away from my home and the 5th man just did not show up. Very unprofessional. I was assured by their sales person Stacy, that all staff were full time employees with tons of experience, but I found out that one of the guys had only been hired 2 days prior to my move, with NO experience. Even though I did not have 2 trucks and 5 movers, I was still charged for them. The movers had banged up my wall in my new house, and I called Stacy, and she told me that she would have someone at my house the next day to repair the wall. They did not show up, so I called Stacy again, and again she told me that she was sending someone out that day, to repair my wall, and again, nobody showed up. Now Stacy will not answer her phone when I call or return my calls. This moving company has screwed me, and now I have to pay someone to come and repair my wall. I have caught their sales person Stacy, in several lies, and would reccommend that everybody steer clear of this moving company.

We are licensed and Insured otherwise we will not be recommended by Angies List, nor be Accredited with the Better Business Bureau. Our license number with the Public Utilities Commission of Colorado is HHG 00108. This license require you have pertinent insurance before you provide service to the public, We have also been in business for over 12 years with the same name and phone number. Its extremely difficult to maintain a service business for over 12 years if your goal is to provide under handed service to the public. Our history is not pristine, we do however strive towards providing quality service to the public. We do thank many of our repeat customers who have immensely contributed to the survival and progress of the company.

HORRIBLE!! I had a similar experience to Kevin Gumms review (promise 2 trucks 5 guys, get 1 truck 4 guys) but mine got worse. After they promised, in order to procure my business, to NOT unload and reload my things (I paid them $400 to store my belongings for 5 days) into a storage unit, they did it anyway. They then demanded I pay them for the load time. The reason I insisted on not putting my things into storage was because I knew the high likelihood of my things being damaged. And of course, I now have antiques damaged, furniture scratched and broken. Broken table, ceramic lamp mysteriously missing, broken kitchen appliances, broken TV stand, the list goes on. All in over $3,500 in damage. They have since been incommunicative. Stay way away from these guys.

Probably not lic, bonded or insured. Mover beware!! Well I asked for proof of them being licensed, bonded and insured. I was told to contact the BBB to get that information the business would not send it to me. BBB does not have that information (I called just in case). One last time I asked or I would cancel my move with them. They sent me a sample of the insurance information. No licensing information or bond information. So movers beware that they may not have any of this and you will be on the hook for any injuries or damages that may occur with your move. I asked for the bond and Lic. information and they canceled the move. MOVERS BEWARE!!! shady business.

There havent been a lot of Reviews for this company recently with the exception of one, and I personally think it is an inaccurate description of a Small but very Caring & Professional Company. Accredited with the BBB (A-), Able Moving & Handyman has been in business for 12 years. Able Movers moved my daughter from Boulder to Denver. It was the best move I have ever been a part of!! From the first contact through the end of the move they were totally professional. The move was easy to set up with lots of follow-up to make sure all the details were correct. Their price was way better than other quotes I received and their service was better than any other I have had. The crew worked quickly and were very friendly and accommodating. He was very professional, patient, answered all my questions, and returned all my phone calls as promised. Cortez, Robbie, and Francis completed my move and did an AMAZING job! They arrived and got right to work. They did above and beyond of what I ever expected. I will definitely be calling Able for my next move!

I just moved this weekend and had a stress free move. Had 2 stops and it went really well. We were having problems getting a sofa through the door way leading downstairs and the moving guys were patient and very helpful. I absolutely recommend this company.
