Let me start out by saying I dont write reviews very often, but Dan was just the best. I had an issue with my main shut off to my house so the water had to be shut off from the street. I called 4 different plumbing companies and got ridiculous estimates and run around. 2 of the companies cancelled the appointments. Mind you all of them charged a trip charge that ranged from $40-$70 just to come out and tell you the problem you already know you have. Called Dan not expecting same day service at all but at least a little bit cheaper than the others, we scheduled something for Monday at first but then he said he was able to come out next day which was Sunday. Awesome. But wait, he called me an hour later and said "hey are you available now?" ABSOLUTELY. He came out and took care of the problem in 30 mins at almost $200 cheaper than everyone else. He also gave me plenty of advice on other plumbing projects I will do around the house myself. Dont waste your own time call this guy first and get it done fast and right, this guy knows his stuff and has excellent customer service.

Best plumber ever!!! I have used Dan now a couple of times now over the past 2 years for my rental property and could not be happier with the service I have received. He is honest, timely, and more than fair in the prices he charges. As long as Dan is around I will not ever think about calling a different plumber. Thanks for everything Dan. Original review written Feb. 2015:Extremely happy with the service I received from Dan today with Same-Day Plumbing. I had a different plumber come and give me a estimate on fixing a issue with my water heater before Dan arrived. The other plumber told me I needed a new water heater and said he could just fix the issue at hand for twice what I was charged by Dan. Dan was honest, upfront about the problem, and very fair with his price. I would highly recommend him to any of my family or friend. Thanks Dan.

Dan is the best! Water heater went out on me. He was right on time for Thursday appointment and cleaned the area underneath so oxygen flow would improve. That seemed to fix the problem as he was able to relight the pilot. He educated me on the process if it went out again. Next day it did go out & I was unsuccessful in relighting - user not adept at such things. Made appt for Saturday, and turns out the pilot assembly needed replacing. He didnt have the part but made a special trip to find it so the repair could be completed at that visit (so I wouldnt have to go without hot water over the weekend). Done and done. He is so personable, trustworthy, and does great work. He also subtracted the amount of the first visit from the total of the replacement repair. I will always call Dan if I have any other plumbing issues!

We feel extremely fortunate to have found Dan. The world would be a much more pleasant place if everyone conducted their business with the same level of honesty and professionalism. We initially contacted him to inspect a problem with our faucet, and he gave us guidance which allowed us to fix the problem ourselves at no charge. We knew immediately that he would be our first choice to handle any future plumbing needs. He came to the rescue again recently when we had a much more serious problem. He took care of the problem quickly and without talking us into unnecessary repairs, which would have been easy to do. It would be impossible to find a better plumber.

Dan was prompt in returning my phone call and getting to my house. I only had my basement floor drain snaked, but had him look at various other issues we were having. He was quick to tell us which items were most important, and which items we could hold off on till spring. He even told us how to fix our drain issue ourselves, but having a young child and limited time, I opted to have Dan fix it for us. If I have any future issues with his work, I will update this review. Dan was easy to work with; friendly and pleasant. I will be calling him for my plumbing needs in the future.

Dan is a rarity among professionals who try to take advantage of people by making them believe they need more than they really do. Right from the start he was very upfront and honest about what he thought the problem really was and insisted that we didnt need the expensive part we had already figured we would have to buy (a part he had with him and could have easily sold us). As a result we paid fully HALF of what we expected to. We will definitely call Dan for any future problems we might have and were very impressed with his professionalism.

I will never call another plumber again. We are doing a DIY kitchen remodel, and needed help with the pipes under the sink. Dan was available, efficient, knowledgeable, thoughtful, instructive, on-time, polite...I could just keep going on about him. He has ONLY 5 star ratings for a reason (and by the way, has never asked for a single review). Others may get the job done, but if you want the very best value at the very best price, you will be sorry if you go anywhere else. Thank you sir, and see you next time we have needs!

We called Same day plumbing today because we had what we thought was a clog in our bath tub and dishwasher and the gentleman who spoke with me on the phone diagnosed the problem over the phone and honestly told us it was probably a frozen pipe and there was nothing he could do but he did give us tips and tricks on how to thaw it and 2 hours later our tube is empty and usable!!! Very friendly and helpful and when we do need someone to come out it will be Same day plumbing !!!

I should have posted this before, I had a great experience with Same Day Plumbing. Dan did not automatically go to the most expensive option for solving my leak problem that started with my refrigerator. I bought a new refrigerator and had him hook me up to the water so that I would not have the same problem that I had had with my older refrigerator. This was completed quickly and well at a very reasonable price!

Dan is the best there is. He was recommended to me by a neighbor. You will never meet a nicer, more honest and knowledgeable plumber. I dont really write reviews on things, but I want to shout Dans name to the world. On top of not selling you a bunch of stuff you dont need, he is quick and provides up front pricing.
