Here’s my experience, you decide if you want to call this company. I called them on a Saturday night because my water heater wasn’t lighting. Guy showed up on time. Looks at my water heater for a few minutes, tries to sell me a new one because mine is 11 years old. Tries the pilot light and gets it to light. Sits down in my dining room and writes up a bill for $199. I asked why the high charge when he didn’t fix anything. He stated there’s a $199 MINIMUM SERVICE CHARGE. Oh this does include the trip charge they warned you about in the phone call. So to touch anything is $199 MINIMUM SERVICE CHARGE. I phoned the company and reached the customer service manager who offered to refund just $50. I felt the reasonable offer would be to pay the trip charge of $39 since nothing was fixed. I had to speak to her boss who was condescending and gave me multiple BS reasons why he’s losing money if he only gets paid the $39 trip fee. Note: if this is true then they will find a reason to touch your stuff and charge you $199 MINIMUM SERVICE CHARGE. Only makes sense if they lose money on just the trip charge. He did however increase my refund to $100. Now it only cost me $60 to light my pilot light, Yeah! He made a big deal of having to get to accounting to change the amount of the refund. SIXTEEN DAYS LATER: I called the Customer Service Manager to inquire where my refund is. The check will be cut in another two days and to expect it the week after. I have been in accounting for over 25 years and can attest this is taking way to long. Another thing to warn you about is the “Invoice” they present. I was given this AFTER he lit my pilot light, the “Invoice” states the charges should be presented before work in done. Because I had guests and was in a hurry I signed this in error. DO NOT SIGN UNTIL READING FINE PRINT AND ARE HAPPY WITH ALL WORK, THEY WILL USE YOUR SIGNATURE AGAINST YOU IN A LEGAL SENSE. They did bring this up in our conversation. I have let my neighbors, friends, family and co-workers to beware of their business practices.

We were a ongoing commercial customer of Done, and we are DONE with their services! I had used Done H&P to recharge a few of my 4 A/C systems as they broke down over the last few years since they were installed brand new construction in 2012. They are all under warranty systems but despite what i always felt was a high cost of around $1100.00 per minor fix or recharge, we had a A/C break that we were told wasnt a simple break, long story $1950 later plus $200 Trip charge to replace coil and we were told it was fixed. Three days later it is broken again and we realize that our Heat Option has dissappered from the thermostat which is VITAL to our business operations, we call DONE and recieve a SECOND Tech for $200 trip charge, who aknowledges it wasnt the coil and that three days before they were wrong and its going to be another $2600.00 to replace a Compressor and still NO HEAT WORKS ANYMORE which was FINE before the first tech... I paid $3800 for my a/c systems brand new and $1100 each for install, they have basically said I need to pay them that again because they failed diagnoising whats broken, put back my old coil cause that wasnt bad right (whered it go?), refund my money and Ill pay you to put in a compressor then well be DONE... This is the second "coil" we had done as well with them as well, the first one we just ate (2k+) but I still dont think that was what was wrong, plus arent all these parts under warranty, why is labor so high???? How can you justify charging what you do for the level of work being done and then tell me Im Violating how a A/C works and you wont warranty your work, its what they are built to do and you only have to make them work right and operate your business with some integrity, make positive business relationships, etc??? You are losing a good customer who was loyal to your efforts and we ask you to Honor your mistake and Ill gladly remove this review, we are lenient people and have paid well for your services please make this RIGHT not DONE!

My water heater needed to be replaced and it was not exactly in an easy to reach spot! It was tucked in the corner of a tiny closet with my furnace. Not only that, the water heater was blocked by numerous pipes and ducts. Not exactly a piece of cake to swap out! Every other plumber I went to quoted me about $500-700 extra because they would need to hire an HVAC contractor. But, Brian just charged me for the water heater (with a 10 year warranty...also unmatched by other businesses), and a reasonable amount for the difficulty of getting the old one out and installing the new one. A job like that could certainly make anyone disgruntled, but Brian had the most positive attitude from the moment he came over to look at it, until he left my house. He was understanding that I needed to shop around for a few other quotes before making my decision and he never made it feel like he was taking advantage of the situation and selling me unnecessary "extras". He didnt show any panic or frustration with this complicated process, as others had done when they came to give me an estimate. That really helped to instill trust in his work and what the company stands for. When he was done, he showed me the important components and made sure I understood each piece. The office also is very professional and on target with communication to the customer and the technician. If I have a question, Ill receive a call within minutes from either Brian or the office. I actually received a phone call asking about my experience just moments after Brian left my house. I can tell Done really cares about a positive customer experience, as shown in the people they employee. Whether its the friendly staff or a knowledgeable and personable tech like Brian, it seems understood that its not just about replacing the water heater with a better one. Its about doing whatever they can to ease the stress of a high involvement purchase like this by their professional employees and efficient operations.

I waited days for Done Plumbing & Heating to come out for a diagnosis to the house and all of the following occurred: 1. My window was from 11-1 2. I received a call at 10:40 saying a technician was on the way then a call back soon after saying he wasnt qualified and wed receive service closer to 1. 3. At 2:30 I called to find out where our tech was and they said hes running a little late and we should have been called to be notified and they were sorry that he wasnt but hes wrapping up in the next 5-10 minutes then will give me a call when hes on his way. 4. At 3:15 I called and was told, we see him on the highway and I asked how come he didnt call and they said we dont know expect him in the hour. 5. The tech arrived close to 4 oclock and asked why he was there, what were we fixing today. I told him exactly what the company received and understood the request to be as they confirmed for me after this visit and he said well we charge a standard $200 diagnosis fee for that and I wasnt made aware of it. 6. Spoke with a rep who said Ill have a manager take care of this issue for you since you missed an entire day of work and well get that work done for you free of charge and then someone called me back the following Monday just to tell me, they try to get their foot in the door with the service fee and all additional fees are explained onsite because then if you choose them, theyll waive the fee and he wasnt going to take into consideration my experience with their service the previous Friday with their fees. CALL BELL HOME SOLUTIONS for true professional and honest service or any other plumbing and heating company. Their customer service is a farce.
