I was directed to this shop through my insurance company because this is one of their network shops. I was drawn to this because Progressive said that they have a faster repair time than most shops and that they would warranty my repairs for the life of my owning the car. This sounds like a good deal right? My car was originally brought to them on June 9th. After weeks of delays and excuses, and more damages either found or created, I was told that my car was ready on July 23rd. More than 30 days after the initial repair. The first promise by date was June 30th. When I arrive to look at my car it was disgusting to say the least. The color match was not even close and could be seen in daylight and clouds, there were dents, door dings, and scratches all over the car that were not previously there, the back paneling was put on in a rush, and the leather seat in the front, and been damaged and then very poorly repaired. This is when the finger pointing started from the Tow company, the body shop, and the mechanical shop they use, Repair Masters. Once it was determined that I was the only one who would not be paying for it, they finally repaired the car. It was finally returned to me on August 3rd. 64 days after my accident. When it was returned more deep scratches were on the car, and the back seat had been destroyed. Someone had put something very heavy in the back of my car, broke the seat belt buckle, making it unusable and sharp. Then my car had been stored with the seats folded down. allowing the seatbelt buckle to cut into and destroy the entire back seat. Again finger pointing between ABRA and Repair Masters. It took 4 more weeks and finally my car is repaired. NEVER take your car here. The had to remove the manager that was there previously and place another manager that takes on problem stores in the area because this location must have had many other problems. Had I not been steered here by Progressive I would have never taken my car here. Next time I will take it where I want!

This is the first time Ive provided feedback on Google about any customer experience. I feel compelled to write because the experience was bloody awful. ABRA has tried to collect a $1,000 deductible from me and my wife despite the fact that my insurance company paid the job total in full, as confirmed by ABRAs bookeeper and my insurance company. I went over this repeatedly with their rather contemptible general manager. I demanded that he cease and desist all collection efforts. Instead, eight months after the shop was paid in full, he claimed that we owed the money, made up stories - none of which he could substantiate with any documentation - to support ABRAs bogus claim, dinged my credit and my wifes and referred it to a collection agency, who have threatened MY WIFE. She doesnt even own the car and had no dealings with ABRA with a judgment. So we may have to go to court. In addition, ABRA didnt actually finish their work. I picked up the car even though none of the work on the scratches that was promised was done. I trusted ABRA when the shop manager told me to bring the car back and finally, when I could and did, they gave me an estimate for $1,000 . Ironically, ABRAs website promises the following: "We make sure your expectations are met with superior customer service... You will drive away with the satisfaction and piece [sic] of mind you deserve." What a joke. id have to say my expectations were not met and their customer service is abysmal. We have had no satisfaction and instead of peace of mind we have been repeatedly harassed and basically treated like deadbeats. For the better part of a year now, this has been incredibly distressful and worrisome. I have spent hours and hours on this issue without any satisfactory resolution, even though I am a repeat customer and a senior citizen.

Very poor customer service... My experience with ABRA of Boulder never got beyond an estimate. I made the appointment on the suggestion of my insurance company. Dropped my car off for the estimate as I couldnt stick around on a work day. Well, that day turned into a stressful one as I worked late because of an unexpected client deadline. When I finally came up for air I realized, I had forgotten about my car! ABRA had never called. I eventually got over to ABRA and found my car left UNLOCKED in their long deserted parking lot and myself stranded without my key on a cold winter night. It was then obvious that ABRA had also forgotten about me. By sheer luck my girlfriend who was supposed to be out of town was home and able to fetch my spare key with a 40 minute roundtrip for her. The next day I went back to ABRA to fetch my original key and they had no apology. They told me with some indifference "we were wondering where that spare key had come from". I decided to take my car to Fisher Auto Body where I had a good experience. P.S. Fisher fixed my car for cheaper than ABRAs estimate. They told me there was a part on that estimate that wasnt damaged at all. I pocketed the difference as the insurance company had cut me a check. Small silver lining: ABRAs mistake (or scam) cut my deductible in half!

By far the WORST service I have ever had. Abra Auto Body is a USAA backed auto body repair shop that I had to go through in order to get my bumper repaired. I was hit by someone with USAA insurance and Abra (after taking multiple weeks to finish the repairs) returned my car, and sure enough, it looked fine. They said as I was leaving the lot that their work was guaranteed and that there was a lifetime warranty on my bumper. Later on, I was driving to California and half way through Utah my bumper started to come off. I noticed this at a gas station and popped it back on. I kept driving and it started to rip off, I stopped again and 1/4th of my bumper was gone. I took pictures, sent them in immediately, called them and they did nothing. I called USAA and set up a claim and after taking a month to review the damage they denied my claim. So much for a "lifetime warranty". Do yourself a favor and go to any other body shop in town. This place SUCKS.

I wanted to give an honest review from an actual, repeat customer of ABRA. In particular, I want to recognize Dale Huddle, customer service manager, and Steve Gillette, the GM. I had a Jeep that was involved in a major accident that required a good bit of "back and forth" with my insurance company. It was finally determined that the Jeep was a total loss. Im sure this was a loss for ABRA as well, as the Jeep was on their location, under roof for a couple of months. These folks were responsive and communicated well throughout the process. I will also add that they were compassionate and thoughtful. On a more recent repair, they helped me w/ a repair to the front bumper/grill of my Porsche and got me fixed up w/in a few days at a very fair price. No one wants to deal w/ body work repair on their car -- but, this is a legit review, and I can honestly recommend the folks at ABRA as straight shooters and good, friendly people. Rod Rackley
