After years of dying my hair black with box dye (I know all the hair stylists out there are cringing lol), I wanted a change. I decided I wanted pastel lavender hair! I went to the salon and Amanda was amazing! She let me know that it would take multiple bleaching sessions since I had been using black boxed dye and she didnt want my hair to be destroyed (even with using olaplex to help repair my hair). I appreciated her honesty about how long the lavender hair journey would take and that she didnt want to over process/damage my hair. She suggested that we could still do fun colors, but she wouldnt be able to get it to the pastel lavender I wanted for another appointment or two. I gave her a color scheme of blue and green and the results were beyond my expectations. She made my hair a blue to green ombre and it faded together so well. Before she started, I had never considered blue and green hair, but I felt extremely confident in her potential and I was not disappointed in the least. When I went in for the second processing, she was able to get most of the green/blue out of my hair and after a second bleaching, get my hair to a dark lavender color (only a couple of shades darker than the pastel color I had wanted in the beginning). The results of the dark lavender were amazing as well and my hair is only partially damaged on the ends (which I say is pretty good for 2 bleaching processes). If you are looking to get vibrant colored hair, I highly recommend going to Amanda from Do the Bang Thing Salon. :)

Bri is FANTASTIC! I stopped going to any professional salon years ago due to a bad experience,so when my co-worker suggested Do The Bang Thing I was a little skeptical. I went in and Bri and Toby completely changed my perception of professional salons! They are so friendly and inviting, you instantly feel comfortable. When I told Bri I wanted to have red hair (like dark red, almost burgandy) she helped me get my crazy curls under control, find the best haircut for me, and it looked gorgeous! They even send you text/e-mail reminders and confirmations before your appointment. Talk about service! And did I mention the cost? You wont find another salon with quality like these ladies for the price they charge anywhere else in Littleton/Centennial. I told some of my friends and they were shocked. The amount I paid far for the great products, a WONDERFUL scalp massage, cut, color, and blow dry was almost half of what they had been paying across the street! Definitely come see Bri and Toby at Do The Bang Thing, you wont regret it!

Do the Bang Thing has such a great atmosphere! Going in with vague directions and coming out with a stylish, sexy do is always to be expected with these ladies. I have been going to Bri Bird for over 3 years now, and I wouldnt ever consider going to another hairdresser! She actually listens to what I want and always delivers exactly what I am looking for. Not only does she do a thorough and great job, I am always very confident walking out of the salon and receive several compliments all of the time on my hair. Bri Bird also did the hair for my wedding for myself and all of my bridesmaids. We did a few trial runs to get it down perfectly, and I absolutely loved my hair on the day. Whether cut, color or styling, Do the Bang Thing is the place to go! Thanks for being awesome ladies in general, and wonderful hair dressers!

Since moving here from Phoenix 6 plus years back my wife has yet to find who she would refer to as HER stylist. Toby from Do the Bang Thing Salon has made the cut. Thank you Toby for being so wonderful at your profession! cont....4/7/15 - Coming from a guy that doesnt usually relax that easily, massages are usually not my thing. As a chiropractor I am always referring for massage, but fail to take the time to do so for myself. I am so thankful that I decided to swing by Do The Bang Thing Salon yesterday and get a massage from Lyndsey Slade. Ive been with Toby for almost 2 years, and highly recommend her. I appreciate her expertise and approach to her craft. Shes upfront and realistic about your expectations, and works hard to achieve the results youre looking for. She told me it might take a few visits to achieve the lighter look I was interested in, due to the multiple colors and processes I had subjected my hair to....and it did. But Id rather have someone set the expectation up front, than be disappointed when my hair isnt INSTANTLY transformed to the look I fantasize about. I love her salon, and her partnership with Bri, too. Theyre like your cool friends you wish you got to spend more time with, but pick up right where you left off when you see them again. I highly suggest DO The Bang Thing to anyone who asked about my hair, or a great place to get their hair done. Bri is incredible, and can give you exactly what your looking for. Also even if your not sure, shes able to use her talent and professional training to find and create the perfect look for you. Every time Ive got my hair done, it looked so vibrant, and all colors from bright purple to dark black lasted! My hair looks better than ever and was is healthy, let alone Bri is an incredible hair stylists and person. Do The Bang Thing is a very cozy beautiful salon, with stylists that care to your needs and make you feel comfortable. One of the best salons Ive ever been too, and officially my go to salon for all looks and styles.

Isabelle has been styling and coloring (balayage) my hair for the last two years and I am so grateful to have her because she is the best at what she does and has the warmest most welcoming personality! I always enjoy going to see her! When I first started seeing her my hair was badly damaged in the back, because I hadnt done anything with it in so long. I didnt think it was ready for color but amazingly, when she was done, my hair was in beautiful , restored, condition and had so much life and shine! Ive continued to see her because of her artistry and skill with my hair (it looks better than ever) and I dont feel apprehensive at all about having my hair done anymore because I have complete trust in Isabelle!! Shes the best! <3

I have been a client of Tobys for about 4 years or so now. Over this time I have had several different hairstyles and have loved them all. I have had blunt bangs, side bangs, layers, blond highlights, red highlights, sometimes three or more colors at once, ombre, and all over rich color. Toby can do it all. She has the unique talent of listening to what you would like and making suggestions on how to get the desired result. Changing your hair can be a nervous decision but both her personality and the environment that she and the extremely talented Bri Bird create at (Do) The Bang Thing will put you right as ease.
