I reached out to several moving companies in the Denver Metro area to get a quote to move my household goods from storage in Littleton to my new home in Broomfield. The caveat being the need to move a very heavy safe up steps into the home and a staircase in the home to the main level. Most of the companies didn’t even respond and the few that did had rates that were much higher than Local Moving LLC. Local Moving LLC had no issues with the safe move so we agreed to do business. One thing to mention at this point. The salesman did not mention that there is a $100.00 additional charge to move over-sized or heavy-weight items. The good news is the additional fee was waived since it wasn’t communicated at the time of the quote. Customer service = A+. On to moving day… As promised, the moving team called before 8am (our scheduled start time) to confirm that they were on their way. The crew arrived and shortly after introductions (Junior, Creg and Scott L.) got right to work loading the truck. These guys worked well together. Very coordinated and constantly in motion. It took less than an hour for the crew to empty my 10’X15’ storage including the safe. When we arrived at the house we did a walk-through of the home so they could get an idea of where everything was going. First things first, the safe. Junior, Creg and Scott L. muscled the safe up all the stairs and got it placed with the utmost care. Banisters were wrapped, floors covered and precision movements made to protect all surfaces. After the safe was in place the rest of the truck was unloaded in the most efficient manner I’ve seen. Items were offloaded based on where they would end up in the house by one of the guys while the other two guys moved the boxes in. The whole process went quickly, everything made it in one piece and landed where it needed to for quick unpacking. A+. The total time from start to finish was a little over 4 hours. I couldn’t be happier! A closing note. Junior, Creg and Scott L. were great to work with. They were friendly, funny and fast. Without a doubt the best moving experience I’ve had yet.

I used Local Movers for my move from Denver to Arvada in March of 2017 and honestly cannot say enough good things about them. The booking process was super easy, and my moving team - Tyler and Joe - were super prompt - they showed up at my door at 7:58am for an 8am start time, ready to go with their supplies ready. They were very quick - we had everything packed into the truck within an hour, and handled my things with care (one lampshade got a little bent/busted, which I didnt notice until after theyd left, but its not a huge deal. Ill live). We then drove to my new place and they unloaded speedily - it only took an hour for them to unload the truck AND set up/assemble my bedframe, something I asked for assistance with because I knew I didnt have the tools on me to do it myself. They were friendly and courteous, and one thing I was really impressed by was how positive and encouraging Joe was towards Tyler, who was a younger kid who was likely new to the business and still training (he did a great job). He often told him he was doing a great job and gave him pointers and tips on how to be safe and do everything properly. That was good to see. I like the positive environment they seem to have here and would highly recommend them. Their rates are reasonable and I loved that there were no hidden fees or "extras." It was exactly the price Id expected to pay. A 1-bedroom apartment start to finish only took 3 hours, and we were done by 11. Give them a go!

I am so happy with this move. It was professional and the prices are definitely competitive! Our movers were Andrew (Andy) and Charles. Andy called me around 9:30am to let me know he was grabbing the truck and waiting on Charles, and then sent me a quick text (which was my preference) when they were on their way. They arrived right on time. Both were very friendly, and liked dogs (my dog and my parents dog were there). Our old place was on the 3rd floor and there were only stairs (no elevator), but they never complained about it. It took a little longer to pack the truck, but that was definitely due to the stairs. It was efficient. They got to our new place (where there was an elevator) pretty quickly, and started unloading right away. We werent sure where to put everything, so we had them just stack the boxes in the living area. Once everything was moved in, Andy and Charles offered to move the boxes/furniture to different rooms. We werent sure, so we declined. We opened up the boxes, and everything was fine besides 1 wine glass which was broken (it was poorly packed, so it was not their fault!). Overall, the move took around 5 hours, with travel time (it was about a 20-30 minute drive to the new place). My parents were there, and they have moved a lot with movers (military family). Both were super impressed, and so were we! I would absolutely hire again. Totally worth the money.

These guys moved us out of our house and into their storage for a month. Then they moved us into our new house in Aurora. Our house was a 4 bedroom 2 bath, 2 car garage, with back yard furniture and 3 grills. The garage was full of equipment including a huge Snap-on Tool box. They sent out a crew of 4 guys with two 26 ft trucks. They had the entire place loaded in 2 1/2 hours. 1 small scratch on the drywall in the downstairs hallway. It was a tight fit, I have made holes in the hallway bringing a washer downstairs. Not a big deal. The crew was super polite and friendly. They did a pre-call for both moves. I had the same crew less one guy do my move in. All in all it was a great experience well worth every penny. Did I mention I ended up paying less than the quote? It was less!! They did state that they only charge for the actual time it took. I read many stories about promises of 4 guys, then only 2 show up. These guys are awesome. So if you have a 20,000 sq. ft. mansion of 400 sq. ft. apartment, USE THESE GUYS!!! You will not be disappointed. Thank you Local Moving LLC!!! Thank you Andy, RJ, Nick and James. Forgot the other guys name from the move out. Funny guy who sang while working, black dude. He was hilarious and super nice too. It made the move less stressful. Thanks again!!!

So this was my first experience hiring a moving company and I have mixed feelings. Roberto and Jason were phenomenal... hardworking, organized, polite, and patient as my wife and I directed our belongings... I was very, very happy with their work. So, a gleaming five stars for those two gentlemen. My only issue is with their initial estimate... which was 2-4 hours for our 2 bedroom apartment, moving 3 miles away, which would have maxed at around $600, for which we carefully budgeted. Jason was upfront the minute he walked in the door, estimating 6 hours minimum, which is exactly how long it ended up taking... and these guys didnt stop. So again, kudos to Jason for his expertise and professionalism. I just wish we would have had a honest and proper estimate beforehand, as we spent $350 more than we could really afford, which was like a solid punch to the gut. So, all-in-all a great experience with the movers themselves, not so great an experience with whoever is in charge of estimates. Beware, or budget accordingly.
