If I could rate my experience with this post office zero stars, I would. Its a shame that my office has to share a mail delivery zone with these inept stooges. I have a high tolerance for B.S., but this just inexcusable. I ordered an expensive computer part on the 11th of January. The tracking information says that on the 15th of January the package was delivered to "Front Desk/Reception" at 2:05pm. I arrived at my office that afternoon and asked the office manager if she had seen my package. Her response was no, the mail carrier hadnt come in. I figured it might be an anomaly on the tracking information so I left and came back on Monday. I waited all day Monday and still no package. Thats when I began to get worried. I started going around to all of the offices in my building asking if they had seen my package. No one had seen it, but I did hear several anecdotes from others about mis-delivered mail. On the 19th of January I submitted a report to the USPS via email stating my problem. Its now almost the 26th of January (almost 7 days later) and I have heard NOTHING from them. Not even a "hey we got your email and were looking into it" from a real person. I am in the process of contacting the seller and seeing if the package was insured. Im hoping it was, otherwise I am officially out a couple hundred dollars. Even if it was, theres no guarantee Ill get my money back. If their insurance claim process is anything like their complaints process, Ill probably never get it solved. Its not just me that has had major issues. There are several others in my office that have had lost mail and late mail pickups and deliveries. Its gotten so bad that they have submitted a case with the head USPS office in DC. With experiences and service like this, its no wonder the post office is in trouble. I say good riddance. Let them close.. A group of well trained monkeys could do a better job.

Here for another Donna related incident. As someone who was a mail carrier for several years, this person disgusts me. If you have an employee who cant handle customers, then let them sort letters in the back or fire them. Though In my experience the latter is very difficult to achieve (Union). I went in yesterday to ask for a package to be held for pickup, I came in today and was told it wasnt there, then I showed the tracking and miss Donna said "Your carrier is still sorting and he doesnt feel like looking through packages" I said " really? " Yep, just dimiss my issue. What if it was some thing that needed a signature and I work during the hours they are open? One of many possiblitlies This is not an outlandish request. We used to do this at the many different post offices I worked at. If a customer comes in and we have their mail or packages, you better frickin believe theyre getting them. The Post Office should not be to lazy to give me my package. They literally refused to look. After a call to the supervisor. I was finally able to get my stuff

No wonder the usps is going out of business. Theyre a bunch of big fat lying liars! Slow, rude, and very protective of their little printouts of tracking information. Really!? Really you cant give me that paper of the tracking info that I can print out myself because it was printed in a federal building? I have never had so many problems with a post office. Set up a mail forward when I first moved here, then wouldnt receive mail for months before I finally stopped it. Constant lying with tracking info, lost mail, clueless employees, and long lines always. Update: 1-19-2016 This place is the WORST! For some reason I thought the post office would get better after so many complaints. NOPE.They still have the same "couldnt care less" attitude about them. I tried to send a letter with tracking to the UK from here, $59 to send. Literally a letter that would cost a stamp in the states can only be sent express mail to get a tracking number? what a joke. Ill take my business to anywhere else from now on.

I can honestly say I have never had more problems with my mail than I have with this post office. The customer service is severely lacking. The mail delivery service is a joke. My neighbors frequently get my mail and I get theirs. Several times mail that I have been expecting has just disappeared. I have even had packages that have not been delivered to my house yet the mail tracking from the shipper says it has been delivered. I recently put a hold on my mail and it is nowhere to be found - it is not at the post office and has not been delivered to my address . Frankly, I am glad to be moving out of their jurisdiction. It has been three years since I have had reliable mail service, I look forward to having a competent mail carrier. He or she will surely be rewarded with holiday bonuses and baked goods.

I recently had a small package mis-delivered and this was not the first time. I spent a total of 7 days speaking to them multiple times a day. It took 4 days before they were able to figure out where it was delivered. They were not friendly or understanding of the situation - they made it seem like it wasnt their problem that my package was delivered to an incorrect address. Im pretty disappointed as this was a surprise present from my mom and is not something she can buy again to replace. They told me to file a claim and that they would tell their delivery people to pay closer attention to the addresses... Im not happy with the service provided to me and Im definitely not happy that once again USPS has mis-placed my mail.

20+ minute wait with one staff member up front, and shes ruder than anyone working with customers should be. She was snide and rude throughout an entire transaction, and when i asked for a manager, there wasnt even one in the store. This place is garbage. Update: 1-24-16 Still absolute garbage. In the past 2 months, Ive had a USPS rep from this location mark 3 different packages of mine falsely delivered on the online tracking section of the packages. Currently waiting on delivery of a package that was not only supposed to be delivered 4 days ago, but was marked as delivered yesterday. The USPS service is almost bad enough in Sunnyside to make me want to move to a different mailzone.

It is amazing how one branch can be so detrimental to a business. We depend on the USPS for official communications that we by law have to use...yet we could be found non-compliant from the laziness and downright active disengagement of this office. Is someone given special treatment, and does not think they have a fiduciary responsibility to handle mail? Are there any standards imposed upon hiring? Do these people know what the post office is, and what it does? This is a disgrace, being forced to hand deliver our own mail to another branch is what we are reduced to. This office is long overdue for an audit. Intervention needed!
