Anna, the manager of the Elbert Colorado post office is an anti-Christian bigot and has been illegally damaging customer mail. Let me explain. The problem began over a year ago when John, who is one of the Elbert Colorado mailmen, began folding my mail in half before placing it upside-down in the mailbox. He would literally squeeze the mail as hard as he could and crease it down the middle for no reason. The mailbox is plenty wide where this isnt necessary. It seemed so unprofessional a USPS government employee, a servant of the public, would take it upon himself to damage mail. I called the post-office manager Anna, who happens to be an immigrant from the Soviet Union. She assured me she would look into it and a week later said my mail was never folded. I thought she was strange for saying that, but the folding stopped for around 6 months. Shortly thereafter the problem began again in earnest, so I called Anna (who reminds me of Ruth Bader-Ginsberg) who asked I bring the magazine to the post office. On the first week of Feb. 2011 when I showed her the folded magazine, she said that because my post-office mail slot was 2 inches in height, the magazines had to be folded in order to fit inside. I mentioned that one of the larger magazines I receive every month has never been folded, so that didnt make sense. When a magazine is folded, the height increases for the post-office mail slot, not decreases. She then said my mail has never been folded. I quickly realized the type of person I was dealing with i.e. someone who is very comfortable lying to another persons face. She simply didnt care about the truth. Fast forward to the 16th of March 2011. Another magazine I receive monthly named True West was sitting damaged in my mailbox. Almost the entire top was split about 1/2 inch down and you could tell someone had bashed it on a sharp object. I contacted True Wests subscription service and asked them to send another magazine. Since then, nearly every time a package (whose postage has already been paid) is sent to me, I receive a note in the mail stating if I dont pay an additional amount, the item will be returned. When a package does come without the extortion notice, its been damaged in some way. In May, 2011 I received an item packaged in a poster-box that was completely smashed on top. You could tell someone crushed it with the heel of their shoe. Figuring out the reason for this harassment took time, but I know now its because Im a Christian who supports Christian causes and Anna is a non-believing Jew. The majority of my mail comes from food pantries or ministries that protect the rights of Christians and apparently she doesnt like that. Coming to this country from the Soviet Union, Anna has little respect for other peoples rights. She has no idea what it means to honor and protect the rights of even those she disagrees with. She fled a corrupt, murderous country that was exactly in tune with her beliefs, to reap the benefits of a nation founded on Christian principles. Because she so despises those same Christian principles, she makes the country that welcomed her a little more like the tyranny she fled. In the Soviet Union, atheists like Trotsky and Beria were the main reasons communism descended into the sick and twisted carnival of perversion. They raped and murdered Christians outright, or sent them to mental institutions for simply believing in Jesus Christ. One thing is certain. Anna has to do her twisted little acts behind closed doors, then lie about them, while I do everything in the open and simply feel pity for her.

Would give 0 starts if this allowed it. I received a note on a Thursday that the sender was requesting a signature for the package, which I completely understand. However, the following day (Friday) I was expecting them to make another attempt to deliver the package (standard protocol for any USPS) but when I got home, the note (which I signed stating that I am allowing them to drop it off w/o a signature) was still on the door and nothing was delivered and no new note stating they made a second attempt. The same exact thing happened on Saturday because I was working as well. I am VERY dissatisfied with the service from this specific Post Office, especially because these are federal employees and not doing what is expected of all post offices across the country.

The Postal Staff (Anna and Denise,) was most helpful, professional, knowledgeable and patient in helping me resolve my problem. My grandsons package was delayed arriving in time for his stay at the Boy Scout Camp. They listened with compassion and helped resolve this resulting in a very happy ending. I can only say "Thank you, thank you" for your graciousness and assistance. It is greatly appreciated. I was very much impressed with the level of professionalism and helpfulness.
