This Pueblo West post office employee I had the misfortune of dealing with yesterday was awful. I have never been so disrespected in my life. I am a taxidermist and went in with my box of salted capes....before I set my box on the counter she says "oh lord" like Im the only person ever to bring in a big box. So I proceed to put my box on the counter and instantly she is bothered by my business by sighing and looking upset that 10 whole salt crystals landed on the counter. In her look of disgust she askes what is this? I say calmly..."salt". She then tells me.."theyre gonna hate you". I assume she is talking about the delivery people. Ok, sorry. So then she puts a piece of tape on the tiny hole on the box and then proceeds to tell me she hates me....apparently because I inconvienced her by not only having to pick up 10 tiny salt crystals and now with putting a tiny piece of tape on my big expensive box. The office was busy and it was very embarrassing.....what gives her the right to treat a customer like that? Next time Ill just drive into town just so I dont have to deal with that #!@!!!!!!!!!!!

I just moved to Pueblo West, and I called them asking about address change forms and a key to the mailbox for our apt. All they said was to come in. So my fiance and I go in and find out that we can go online for the address change (which the lady couldve let us know over the phone so we couldve gotten it done sooner) and that we have to fill out a form for the key to order it. Its complete bull to drive all the way there for something you could do over the phone. Have they ever heard of customer service?? Plus do not use the USPS address change website because they will charge you $30. I found that out before I put in the information for my credit card and read the small caption at the top of the page. Its like they want to hide the charge from people so they can screw them over. Plus my mom mailed a package 3 weeks ago and they cannot tell me where it is, nor has it gotten sent back to her. Im so furious!

What the heck is wrong with this store in particular? In addition to always be looked at in some sort of "Im not welcome here" face whenever I go there, their delivery system is a chaotic mess. I wait all saturday morning for a package, and no one rings the doorbell. The houses out here for the most part all have basements and I have a a big doorbell for deliveries. I have never once gotten a delivery from these guys and had to pick it up every single time because of this. Dt50 needs to be let go. When delivering a package, fedex and ups all ring the doorbell to get someones attention, usps or more specifically DT50 delivers a package, he knocks quietly and walks away. Serious disappointment and no wonder you guys have one stars all across the google searches.

My wife and I moved here to Pueblo, Colorado a week ago, staying in a hotel until we get some contract details finished with our house. We needed to have something mailed to us here from the bank, so decided to go to the post office in Pueblo west to rent a P.O Box. Upon entering the post office I was already being judged by my appearance I went up to the counter and asked to rent a PO Box. The lady at the counter immediatly asked me for Photo ID and seperate document proving my address, I tell her that I am currently living in a hotel, that I just moved here a week ago. She then tells me SORRY, WE DONT RENT BOXES TO THE HOMELESS. I have never been so insulted in my life.

Im so sorry, I have to admit...Im not happy with this post office either. I want so badly to give Pueblo West rave reviews but its just not going to happen when it comes to the post office. Just not helpful at all. I had to drive into Pueblo because they wouldnt even help me at this one. I stopped going here all together. Soooo very sad !! Thankfully I love love love the one I go to now. The guys working there are hillarious and so much fun to visit. Nothing they wouldnt do to help out their customers. Wow, talk about excellent customer service :)

I gave 5 stars because of the great customer service I received from Patty. She was warm, welcoming, and very helpful to not only myself but the customers before and after me. The location is small and definitely does not have as many resources as other post office locations... either way I still recommend this location if you live in Pueblo West.

I , for one, really like Patty (Elaine is awesome too!). The naysayers should know she is actually very nice once you get to know her. I only go to the post office a few times a year, but, she is always there when I go. I find her realness fabulous.

Elderly employee (a heavy set female with glasses) was very rude, didnt know what she was doing. Didnt give me a tracking number for something I sent out, then tries to yell at me like its my fault.

This post office is fantastic. The naysayers dont understand that the street mail carriers work out of the main office in town. The Pueblo west post office is not in charge of the street carriers

The storefront itself always has great and quick service, unlike nearly every other post office in the region.
