AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Believe the bad reviews. Lost an entire day of my vacation due to these lying, incompetent, a-holes. Not even sure where to begin. One expects minimal customer service from USPS. This truly sets a new low. Postal workers lied to my face, and made up rules that Ive since learned were a lie. Had a package shipped here for general delivery since I was on vacation and not at home. Verified that the addressing for general delivery was correct. Was correctly delivered by UPS to the post office for general delivery. Got delivery confirmation from UPS that it was at the post office. Went to pick up package. PO worker took my ID, looked in the back, then told me that packages "had to be held overnight before being released." I had never heard of this, but agreed to come back later. Showed up at PO next morning. Same thing. Checked my ID. Checked in back, was told that the package had not been processed yet and to come back at 2:30pm. Came back at 2:30pm to be told that package had now been refused delivery and sent back to UPS, but that it would not show up in the UPS system for 2-3 days. Talked to the Postmaster who blamed UPS for incorrect postage. In the package was an expensive camera. Currently out nearly $500 until the package mysteriously resurfaces in the UPs system. I would have happily paid for the incorrect postage to get the package and dealt with it later. Bottom line, worst USPS experience ever. Multiple stories blaming everyone else. Frisco PO held my camera for 24 hours before sending it back to UPS (allegedly- since UPS has no idea where it is since the postmaster accepted it). They even verified that the General Delivery addressing was correct. Also I mailed a priority mail package at the same time. Needed a piece of tape to seal up the package. The guy at the desk forced me to buy a roll at $3.49 for approximately 12" of tape. (Ive never had this happen at any post office in my life, and my local PO checks the packages and adds extra tape without asking). Lastly, the guy in line in front of me (a local business owner) had his business PO Box closed mysteriously and all his business mail sent back. No one had any reason why. They forced him to bring the deed to his property to reopen his PO Box. Witnessed this while I was standing in line. Unbelievable.

Believe the rest of the reviews. This place is the worst. I tried having a package delivered to a hotel two blocks from the post office. Guess what, they sent it back due to lack of a P.O. box number. I called the office the day it arrived at the post office and spoke with two individuals that were extremely unhelpful. They both said that they have 500 boxes go through there on a daily basis. Woo-hoo. I used to do shipping and receiving and had days that Id go through 500 boxes. It was a lot, but if a customer called and asked me to look out for one, Id make sure it got done. You want to know why? Because I knew how important it was to take care of the customer. Sorry I was such a HUGE inconvenience to you post office employees. I spoke with Jim (the worst) and another lady (cant remember her name), but they were NOT helpful, nor did they care one bit about what happened with my box. Thanks for nothing.

My packages sat at this facility for exactly 2 weeks before they bothered to acknowledge the pallet that it was on, and put a slip in my box. Saw another patron in the office two weeks ago, asking for his package that was sitting there for some time as well, and he was threatened with the police. I think Ill be calling the Seville at the GMF and letting him know exactly how these mountain offices are proving the USPS incompetent. I know for a FACT every package that arrives at a Denver PO, they packages go out that very day, they dont sit there for two weeks. USPS should realize that in partnering with FedEX and UPS that the tracking numbers allow patrons to see exactly where their package is in transit and exactly WHO is dropping the ball: U.S. Post office. Talk about Snail mail... if they arent sending it back, they just arent delivering it.

WORST POST OFFICE I HAVE EVER BEEN TO! Jim (The Post Master) is positively the biggest POS I have ever met. I opened my PO box in Frisco in February. As of march I had not received any mail so I went back in to check on the box before having my title mailed there. They told me at the front desk that my first name and last name were interchanged and that was the reason I wasnt getting mail but that everything was good now. So I had my new title sent to the PO box the middle of April. June Rolls around, still no title. I finally hear from MN Title bureau. Title was rejected from PO box. Had them resend it after going back to make the post office aware. Rejected again. So Now I have no title to my vehicle and the post master still refused to refund the money I paid for the PO box I have yet to receive mail at. Awesome.

Just returned my package for "Insufficient Address." Had a street address instead of a po box. Are you seriously going to pretend you dont know the po box of the school district? Are you taking customer service lessons from the Breckenridge post office? Theyve been gleefully returning my packages for over 20 years, in spite of the fact that Ive had the same po box and same street address since 1990. An 8 year-old could figure it out. But not the postal service. It seems like UPS and Fedex go out of their way to deliver packages, while the post office goes out of their way to "return to sender." Its no wonder you lose billions of dollars annually. Every time I receive tracking information from a seller indicating USPS, I cringe, knowing theres a 50-50 chance at best Ill ever get it delivered.

I paid extra money to have my order delivered by todays date, as today is the only day I can pick it up. Upon seeing it delivered I went to the post office. There was no line at all, but I was told by the person working the counter to return right before close to pick it up, as they havent sorted it yet. When I returned, there was a huge line and I was informed that usps orders arent processed untill the next day. This needs to be stated upon purchasing a Po box as it cost me a good amount of money and time. Between the extra cost of shipping I paid for, for no reason, and the time off I will have to take from work tomorrow to pick up my package within office hours, I could have paid for a whole new Po box. This is unprofessional and unclarified and needs to be addressed

I had an important document overnighted to me last night and I came in twice today to pick it up, only to be told both times that it never arrived. I called the post office in the afternoon to see if I should come in for the third time today or if I should wait until tomorrow. Jim picked up the phone, and he was incredibly rude and condescending. He spoke down to me and raised his voice a few times. I was frustrated and asked him why my overnight shipment hadnt arrived yet, and he became hostile and hung up on me. Wow. Ive always had bad experiences with this post office (they lost half of my wedding invitations a couple years ago, for example) but this is by far the worst one.
