REPORT THEM!!! "You can contact the Postmaster Generals main office by calling the main United States Postal Service customer contact number, 1-800-ASK-USPS. The mailing address of the Postmaster General is 475 LEnfant Plaza, Washington DC 20260" ******Update on 04/24/2017****** The above information was taken off of their website. You cannot reach the Postmaster General at that number. In fact, I was on hold for almost 1/2 hour when I had to take another call and gave up. I recommend contacting them via mail. I am sending him the entire transcript below from everyone who has rated this office so far. ***************************************************** I am stunned by the horrific service at this post office. THIS IS THEIR JOB. My mail all goes to a guy who lives upstairs and Ive been in there THREE times trying to fix it for a total of a little over 3 hours of standing in line. (The average wait time is listed as 15 minutes?!? Not even close.) They finally told me that they cant give me a mailbox and I have to share with the guy upstairs even though I have an actual LEASE proving I live in a different apartment. Ive lived here for almost 2 months and this still isnt straightened out. Im contacting the Postmaster General to look into this location - in all the places Ive lived (and that is a LOT), I have never run across this level of incompetence and total lack of caring. I recommend that anyone with issues contact the Postmaster General and request that this site be investigated. Im going to write...Im sick of waiting for nobody to answer the phone. By the way, Ive been in line for a little over 3 hours over 3 days and I can definitively say that THEY TOTALLY IGNORE THE PHONE. I WATCH THEM WALK RIGHT PAST IT WHILE IT IS RINGING. They are swamped but if they would do their jobs, then maybe so many people wouldnt have to GO IN to get help. Wish me luck. Im about to go in AGAIN to see if they have the keys cut that I have to share with the guy upstairs because they wont give me my own mailbox. This should be illegal.... UPDATE: I went in (4th trip) only to be told that they dont assign mailboxes, that the place that sells the condos does. WHICH WOULD HAVE BEEN NICE TO KNOW THE FIRST TIME I WENT IN AND ASKED WHAT I HAD TO DO TO GET A MAILBOX...OR THE SECOND TIME WHEN I RETURNED THE PAPERWORK AND BROUGHT A COPY OF MY LEASE...OR HELL, EVEN THE THIRD TIME WHEN THEY TOLD ME THAT I HAD TO COME BACK YET AGAIN FOR THE KEYS. Within ten minutes I had keys to my very own mailbox. That post office employs a bunch of idiots who dont know their jobs.

The previous review prompted me to write a review when I was looking up their phone # to resolve an issue. I am not affiliated with UPS or any other delivery service and I seriously doubt any of these bad reviews are fake. My job forces me to have duel residency and I am at one of two addresses for a couple months or so at a time. In comparison the Post office in TN is very accommodating about my situation. Once a couple of years ago, when trying to resume mail service (in person) so I could receive medical supplies for my paraplegic son, an employee blessed me out and berated me for it, not wanting to resume my mail service. I had to have it sent to a neighbor to receive it because it was returned to the sender. We had to try to make due with alternative medical supplies in the meantime. And no they never do answer the phone. This time I was able to resume mail service but another neighbor brought me my Netflix dvd last week and said it was in her mailbox. Its been 3 days and they havent picked up the mail Im trying to send. Guess I have to go there risking getting blessed out in front of everyone again since they wont answer the phone. Once a long time ago I managed to catch the mail delivery guy outside and in a polite manner told him my mail was going to other peoples houses and I was missing important papers. He got defensive and angry claiming it wasnt him doing it then handed me my mail and started to drive of in a huff. I looked at the mail he gave me then immediately yelled to him "HEY WAIT! This isnt mine!" (even angry I couldnt help but laugh at that one) I could go on and on about several other issues Ive had with them over the years but this is too long already.

If I could give a zero I would. Terrible customer service. We are here on vacation, and I forgot my eye contacts at home. They were suppose to be delivered to the resort on Tuesday. Today is Wed. and I still had no contacts. So........It is impossible to get anyone to answer the phone at this location first off. Second, I find out to postal person who has our condo as a delivery location has had my package with her for 2 days now. She lied and said she walked the package into the resort. She infact didnt. The general manager of the resort was actually standing out at the boxes today when she arrived, and she didnt take one step into the resort. I was then told by the manage at the usps (her name is Angel) that this condo we are staying at is vacant, and they dont deliver to vacant condos. Say what????? Besides the fact of all of this, we got not one apology for all the hassle we had to go through with this usps location. Angel told me I had to come pick my package up at the usps location. After getting there she still continued her rudeness. When I told her about the postal woman lying, and how the customer service all together was terrible, and not one person had apologized for all the run around, Angel simply smirked at me. I asked her that thatmeant she didnt feel the need to appologize for the terrible service and lies. She then smirked again, and told me I was lucky they kept my package instead of sending it back to sender. That lady is a real class act. Needless to say we now have a case against this location. I can also see Im not the only one who thinks this place needs to get their act together.

If i could give them no stars, I would. first of all, you cant get anyone to answer the phone much less get them on the phone to save your life. i have never had to call a post office 5-6 times, let it ring for a solid 5 mins at a time to get someone to answer a phone - except for Panama City Beach Post Office. and this isnt just on one occasion - this is every time I need to call them regarding a package. EVERY TIME - 30 mins of trying to get a business to answer their phone. SMH. they constantly bounce packages that are for my business - when ive had a business in the same location for 5 years. its unbelievable how they dont take initiative to go the extra mile. they are the WORSE post office Ive ever dealt with and I have dealt with many. customer service is not their first priority - it is very apparent. i have heard this from countless people as well who have had the same experience. they need to bring in an entirely new team who are professional and know how to train an excellent staff that delivers customer service. If you are in town, I would highly suggest using Rosemary Beach post office or use UPS or Fedex. You will want to pull your hair out by the time you are done dealing with PCB post office.
