My experience with the staff at the post office has always been great for whatever reason. The people I have dealt with seem very professional and very helpful. However, It would be nice if someone would answer the phone so that I dont have to go personally. (Please note that in 10 years I only needed to call once). In regards to the carriers, alls good in the 10 years Ive lived in the zone except for those few times my mail was delivered to someone elses house and vise versa. Not an ongoing problem though, but just thought Id mention because my tax return was one of them that was sent to someone else and just recently I had a valuable package with a tracking number delivered to another mail box. Had me running around. I know that mistakes happen but please get it right. Ill still rate a five star cause in the 10 years, and after thousands of letters delivered,, these have been my only issues and not an ongoing problem.

I wish there was no stars. I finally filed a complaint against the manager there and a couple of employees. I sure know they have a lot of complaints at the regional post office. This is nothing new and they are aware of it all. The bold man that works there dont know his name though is such an unprofessional rude man, I am surprised how he still has not lost his job. I am happy that now it is going to headquarters in Washington. This place is going to be investigated finally. The blond guy that works there is a racist discriminating man that should not be working there. I hope this 2 individuals loose their jobs, it has been going on for quiet a few years now and I ma glad they are going to get to the bottom of it.

Beyond irritated. When I first moved to the area, I never had a problem with the post office. Just in the past year though, it has changed dramatically. In less than six months, 2 packages were "delivered" but not to me. Another was "lost" then found. I even had a small card that had a pair of earrings from a friend in France that was shredded to bits and then they put it in a USPS "sorry" envelope. Earrings gone, and the message couldnt even read it. Now when I order from overseas, Im petrified that Ill even get it. I have to spend an arm and leg for certified just so they have to bring it to my door for me to sign for it. The only way its almost guaranteed to get to my house.

I hated that this post office fails to deliver packages, answers the phone, and even refers call the national line to complain about them. I had been to bad post office and the one in Virgin Islands refused to change my address but at least they deliver my packages. The young man is exceedingly helpful but he is only one that works. We have to different carriers one really does work the other makes excuses not to deliver the mail. To cut cost they close the post office in this zip code but now this post office is last step for delivery. It is more of the luck on the person you get for customer service and who is carrier to the house than steady service.

Yeah, this isnt the first time Ive had to track down my packages because they were put in the wrong box. And calling them is usually nothing but hours of busy signals. They really need to look deeper into how the people there deliver packages because Im spending my time bouncing back and forth with companies. Fed Ex says they work with USPS, and it was they who delivered it (though I didnt get it and its supposed to go into a community mailbox so its not like itll be stolen). Would love to actually do other things with my time but hey, at least Im getting familiar with USPS delivering protocol.

I waited in line to check in boxes. I needed them to scan the boxes to verify I dropped them off. Proof of delivery. After waiting in line for a hour they told me they could not scan the boxes for proof of delivery. Yet their insurance states that I must scan the boxes for them to be covered. I will be complaining to the supervisors of this practice. I sugggest everyone do the same and not just post a bad review. For what its worth, ALL the employees including the manager are lazy, slow, and dishonest.

WHAT A JOKE THESE GUYS ARE!!!! WISH I COULD LEAVE A MINUS 5!!!!!! MOVED GAVE ME A DATE TO PICK UP TWO KEYS FOR NEW MAIL BOX AND THEY WERENT READY IN THE TIME GIVEN. THEN GET COCKY AND RUDE ABOUT IT WHEN YOU ASK IF THEY HAVE A CLUE WHEN THEY WILL BE READY. NO WONDER PEOPLE HATE THESE WORTHLESS LAZY GOVERNMENT CIVIL SERVANTS ONLY IN IT FOR THEMSELVES. GOVERNMENT NEEDS TO RE EDUCATE THESE WORTHLESS CLOWNS HOW TO TREAT THE PUBLIC NICE!!!!!!!!

Have gotten packages ripped open and my items broken but cannot bother to complain because the employees are so blatantly rude. Went to drop off a box to mail out and an employee asked me if the item was fragile (it was a picture frame) and when I said yes, he stamped the box the hardest possible and threw it to the side. I understand losing patience with customers every once in a while, but these people are over the top rude.

Ive had nothing but bad experiences with this branch. Just a few days ago I was supposed to get a package delivered only to be told there was no one home...heres the kicker, I work from home so Id hear any honking going on outside. I scheduled a re-delivery and was given the same excuse. So if you decide to deal with this branch just know youll probably hit a few snags when it comes to getting your packaged delivered.

I sent a package through this location from out of town. It was suppose to arrive Saturday, its Tuesday already and nothing! Ive been calling since then and its either busy or no answer!! Where are these ppl. Where can we COMPLAIN??? How irresponsible and unprofessional staff they have working there. I paid extra for the same reason to get there secure. But I guess they dont know the meaning!!!! BS

Mail was supposed to be held while on vacation. We had expected packages to be delivered. We went to the post office and had no mail. USPS tracking states delivered but nothing at the post office. This is not the 1st time. No one answers the phone to answer quick questions so you dont have waste time driving in the secluded location that it resides to get an unfavorable answer. RIDICULOUS

My wife and I just bought a house in the 79938 and were told to go to this location to pick up our mail key. Misinformation. Knowing I wouldnt make it to the appropriate location on time before the office closed, Ruben verified my information and placed a call to that location and got my keys ordered instead of having to come in on my other day off to do it. Greatly appreciated!

Worst customer service ever. Ordered a item online usps mailman assigned to the 79928 said item was delivered which it was not.Went to talk to the manager to the Socorro Tx post office and usps employee wrote down my contact information and told me a manager will call me and he never did. United States Postal Service should hire quality not quantity of people.
