I came in a had highlights and lowlights done, along with a haircut. When it was time for a root touchup about 7 weeks later, I was informed by my stylist that it would be $60 for the touchup and $36 for the haircut for a total of $96. I made sure I didnt use any heat on my hair since having it colored and wore it up most of the time so it could grow. When I went back in I told her I didnt need the haircut this time. So when it came time to pay, she changed something on the paperwork before she gave it to the cashier and my touchup was now $82. It was dishonest in my opinion and because of that, I will not be coming to this salon again. Its a shame.

I went to James for the first time and I was very satisfied. Heather did my hair. I needed a trim and got it dyed. She was very friendly and knowledgeable, and did a great job. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants a cut/dye.(as those are the only services I have had here so far) They even let me use a facebook coupon even-though it was for the James in FOCO. (that was sweet, the lady at the counter didnt even have to honor it but did) They are expensive, but the service and professionalism is well worth the price. I spent $180 and that was with a $24(ish) tip. Great place!

My whole family have been going to the James Salon for over a year now and I can feel confident recommending them. My wife and I both see Sierra (I hope I spelled that right), she is fantastic. Personable, professional and can make an amazing salon experience for anyone! I couldnt recommend her more. Weve enjoyed talking to all of the stylists and even had our 2 year old daughter get her hair cut there several times. When youre looking for a great Salon experience, look no further than The James Salon. Oh, and the Aveda products are fantastic too!

I paid $90 to have James himself cut my hair because I thought he would give me a great cut. It was horrible. It looked really cute from the front but when I got home I saw that he hadnt even cut the back. He did exactly what I asked him not to and he and some of his staff were totally rude and disrespectful. I had to go back the next day and have another stylist fix what he had done and she couldnt even fix it. This place was a huge mistake and a waste of $90.

I have struggled finding the perfect hairstylist for years, and i must say Bobby at James Salon is the best Ive seen. Not only is she the friendliest but she is so very skilled. She was able to fix a hair disaster and i will never go anywhere else. the salon is beautiful, the staff is great and they always want their customer happy.

Katie is my hero, she always kills it. Fantastic salon. They ask if you would like water, tea, or coffee and bring it to you in a nice glass, and Ive never even heard of anyone being unhappy with their haircut at James. Both of my roommates go here too; cant recommend it enough

SIERRA D. is thee absolute best hair stylist!! I trust her for all my hair needs. She is super patient (when I say patient I mean PATIENT I have super thick and long hair) and is such a sweet person, I definitely recommend her!!

I had Siara as my hair stylist. She is fabulous for color and scalp massages... And shes kind and just overall great. My hair feels lighter, better and doesnt have the smell of dye like most salons does..
